“Manager Li, is there something you need?”

Once the call connected, Liu Weiwei spoke cautiously. This was their sponsor, after all—someone who held real power—so she didn’t dare be careless. Her tone was extremely polite.

“There is something I’d like to discuss with you.”

Li Shen spoke slowly. He had planned to contact Liu Weiwei at two o’clock to talk about bringing her on board with Boring Short Video.

But when two o’clock came around, he saw that Liu Weiwei was in the middle of a live-streamed teaching session. Not wanting to disrupt the flow or affect the quality of the stream, he held off on calling.

He figured the stream would be over by six. After all, they only paid for four hours of live-streaming per day. Any time beyond that wasn’t compensated.

So, most streamers would end their sessions once they hit the four-hour mark.

But to his surprise, Liu Weiwei streamed from two all the way to eight. Even her roommate did the same.
