I Really Didn’t Mean to Make Money

Several doctors stood around the middle-aged woman kneeling on the floor, their faces troubled.

Without proper authorization, it was difficult for them to make a decision on their own.

“Let him go into surgery. I’ll cover the medical expenses.”

Just then,

A calm middle-aged voice rang out.

The doctors looked up to see a man and a woman, both in their forties, walking toward them.

“And you are?”

One of the doctors asked, puzzled.

“Who I am doesn’t matter right now. Saving a life is more important. Tell me how much the surgery costs, I’ll pay it at the counter right away. Just get her into the operating room.”
