Chapter 26: The First Tower Awakens
Chapter 26: Chapter 26: The First Tower Awakens
đ Previously:All six of Jemilâs beast companions have completed their emotional bonds with him, unlocking their full evolutions and stabilizing his Towerborn Core. With his new class path, Intimate Ascendant, Jemil can now sync his powers with his harem during battle.
But as one internal journey ends, the external one begins.
Because the system has been hiding something...
A Tower is rising.
And itâs calling him home.
đ System Announcement
[Dream Sync: COMPLETE]
[Emotional Stability: OPTIMAL]
[Core Path Unlocked: Towerborn Bloodline Recognized]
[Initiating World Event: The First Tower Awakens]
đ° A Tower in the Sky
It appeared in the distance at sunriseâfloating above the sea, wrapped in chains of lightning and clouds.
Mira, the fiery beast girl, blinked. "That thing wasnât there yesterday."
"It wasnât there an hour ago," Ursa added, already halfway into a bag of jerky.
Sylfa shielded her eyes with her leafy fingers. "Itâs not rising... itâs remembering."
Aerialra turned to Jemil slowly.
"Youâve done it," she whispered. "Youâve fully awakened the Towerborn inheritance."
"What is that place?" he asked.
"Itâs you," Lyra muttered. "Or the part of you youâre not ready to meet."
đ The Journey Begins
Jemil stood before the oceanâs edge, all six of his bonded beast girls behind himâeach now fully evolved, stronger than ever, emotionally linked to him.
The system projected a message only he could see:
[Location: The First Tower]
[Objective: Enter and Survive Floor One]
[Warning: Emotional instability inside the tower may alter reality.]
[Harem Sync Required to Progress]
"So, what, we just row out there?" Mira asked.
"I donât row," Lyra said flatly.
"I can fly us," Aerialra offered.
"I can surf us," Ursa suggested, already building a massive board out of hardened earth.
"Letâs just take the boat," Jemil groaned.
đ¶ Trouble on the Water
The journey wasnât peaceful.
They were attacked three times:
Sea Wyrmlings trying to pull them under.
A group of rogue tamers testing their luck.
A sentient rain cloud that flirted with Nyx and refused to leave.
Nyx punched the cloud.
Twice.
But it kept calling her "Storm Queen."
"Youâre lucky it didnât ask to be tamed," Jemil joked.
"Iâd drown it in a bowl," she muttered.
đŻ Arrival at the Tower
When they reached it, the First Tower was even bigger up close.
Hundreds of meters tall. Floating above water. No visible entrance.
Thenâwithout warningâan orb of white flame floated from the top floor, descended rapidly, and hovered in front of Jemil.
[Tower Key Recognized]
[Access Granted to Floor 1]
[Challengers: 7 Detected (1 Master, 6 Beasts)]
[Welcome, Intimate Ascendant.]
The ocean parted, revealing a staircase of light leading upward.
Mira shivered. "Anyone else getting end-of-the-world vibes?"
"Just Tuesday vibes for me," Sylfa muttered, vines curling protectively.
đȘ Floor One: The Trial of Reflection
They entered.
The moment they crossed the threshold, everything changed.
They werenât in a tower. They were inside a dream.
Each of them stood... alone.
Scattered.
Trapped in personal illusions.
Mira stood before a burning city she once failed to save.
Nyx faced her old master, whispering sheâd never be more than a weapon.
Ursa stood inside a room of mirrorsânone of which reflected her joy.
Sylfa watched herself plant flowers that always withered.
Aerialra stood in the void between stars, hearing nothing but her own screams.
Lyra sat in chains again, told that bonding was a lie and love was a weakness.
And Jemil?
He was back in the pit.
Where heâd started.
Before the system.
Before the girls.
Before he mattered.
[Tower Trial: Face Your Reflection]
[Win to Reunite. Lose... and remain fractured.]
đ§ Jemil vs. Himself
Jemil stared at the version of himself cowering in the dirtâweak, pathetic, forgotten.
"You still think they love you?" the other him spat. "Youâre just their leash."
"Iâm their choice," Jemil said. "And theyâre mine."
"Theyâre weapons. Pretty ones. Dangerous ones."
"Maybe. But theyâre also people."
The reflection lunged at him.
Jemil didnât fight back.
He hugged it.
And it vanished.
âš One by One
One by one, Jemil found the girls trapped in their illusions and freed them.
Sometimes by logic. Sometimes by kindness.
Sometimes by saying the one thing they never let themselves believe:
"You deserve love, even when youâre not useful."
And in each case, they shattered the trial.
Until they were all together again.
The floor glowed with golden light.
[Trial Complete. Emotional Sync Level: PERFECT]
[Unlocking Floor 2...]
𧩠System Trait Evolved
[New Trait: Shared Soul]
Jemil now shares a passive emotional tether with each beast girl. During trials, damage, stress, or emotional suppression affects them together, not individually.
This makes them stronger... or more vulnerable.
â CTA â The Tower Opens
They survived the first floor. But the Tower is just beginning to test their bond. With every new trial, their relationship will be pushed, twisted, and used against them.
đŹ Who do you think will break first under pressure? Or will they grow stronger?
đ Add to Library, drop a Power Stone, and prepare for the towerâs second floor...
