In the vast, star-filled void, the Bat Beast flew onward without any sense of direction. It passed one planet after another, traversed long belts of asteroids and dust, and maneuvered around brilliant, scorching stars. After an unknown amount of time, it finally arrived in a stretch of absolute emptiness.

"SKREEE!"

The Bat Beast seemed both confused and as if it were sending out a signal.

Its massive body spun and drifted ceaselessly through the area, its cries growing progressively more anxious and shrill.

The immense energy of its sound waves transformed into spatial ripples, radiating outward layer by layer.

The disturbance sent vibrations through the entire expanse of space.

Zhao Rui followed from a distance, watching everything with a solemn expression.

’Is this the place? Why don’t I recognize it at all?’

’Could it be that spatial rifts have appeared elsewhere, too?’

Zhao Rui couldn’t help but wonder.

Just then, a faint aura suddenly surged forth from the void.

The aura grew stronger until, soon enough, another equally massive Bat Beast tore open a rift in the void, revealing its enormous head.

Upon seeing this, the first Bat Beast grew ecstatic, flapping its wings and hurrying over.

The two Exotic Beasts nuzzled affectionately and let out strange, screeching cries before flying into the void at the same time.

Overjoyed at the sight, Zhao Rui instantly activated his Domain Power. With a flicker, he attached himself to the back of one of the Bat Beasts.

He followed as its body disappeared into the void.

The Power of Space was immense. Without the ability to control it, traversing such a void would be impossible.

It was only after comprehending his Domain Power that Zhao Rui had come to understand the mysteries of the Power of Space.

But this time, the Power of Space involved was not the ordinary kind.

Only after passing through did Zhao Rui realize that this was actually the power of an Array.

It was a form of the Power of Space, distorted by some special means.

It was far different from the typical spatial folding used to tear open a void.

Zhao Rui felt a sudden flash before his eyes, and then he was stepping into a star-filled sky.

The two Bat Beasts flew onward together, speeding toward a distant blue planet up ahead.

Zhao Rui’s eyes widened in utter disbelief.

"Blue Star!"

He had searched high and low, only to stumble upon it when he least expected it.

He never thought he would actually find Blue Star by pure chance.

Ecstatic, Zhao Rui waved his longsword, transforming it into a colossal dragon thousands of miles long. A dragon’s roar erupted as it snaked its way toward Blue Star.

An immense pressure instantly filled the entire starscape.

Like frightened animals, the two Bat Beasts fled into the distance, staring in shock at the mysterious new beast that had appeared behind them and the person on its back.

"SKREEE!"

One of the Bat Beasts recognized Zhao Rui’s aura and began to tremble uncontrollably.

Zhao Rui paid the two Exotic Beasts no mind. His only thought was to return to Blue Star.

A journey of thousands of miles was crossed in the blink of an eye.

The great dragon roared, and all living things trembled.

Far below on Blue Star, countless Exotic Beasts sensed the disturbance and couldn’t help but look up at the sky.

Some of Blue Star’s most powerful masters also sensed this completely different, oppressive aura. They all focused their senses, on high alert, and leaped into the sky to investigate.

In the Central Plains, masters from Shaolin and other sects hovered in mid-air, using the light of the bright moon to search for the source of the pressure.

"It seems to be coming from outer space?"

"Could it be an invasion by some off-world master?"

"None of us has the power to break through the void of space. What are we going to do?"

"I wonder about those Exotic Beasts on Qingcheng Mountain..."

"With Zhao Zhenren gone, the people of Qingcheng Mountain wouldn’t dare release them. They’re afraid no one would be able to control them."

"What in the world are we to do?"
