Chapter 1518 - 1519: War Tree
Night after Night of Merrymaking listened to Luminous Pearl's words, and her spirits lifted instantly, her eyes filled with hope.
The Phantom Tribe People voluntarily stepped aside, inviting Yang Fei to walk forward.

She smiled faintly and stepped forward to explain.
These trees are called War Trees; they possess the basic biological function to respond to stimuli and can launch attacks on intruders."

"Earth Space also has similar plants, but their biological characteristics are too primitive, lacking the high intelligence to actively attack enemies."
Ye Shengge tightly pursed her lips.
"War Trees distinguish enemies from friends based on their aura and thus launch attacks. Their attacks can't do much to experts but are quite lethal to ordinary beasts."
Yang Fei was curious: "Why don't they attack me?"
Ye Shengge, walking ahead, was surprised to hear this.
"Yeah, why don't the War Trees attack you? I totally forgot about this."
Yang Fei tried walking toward one of the tall War Trees, only to see the whole tree shudder, with its long, strip-like leaves rustling.
"Haha, could it be the War Tree is afraid of me?"
Yang Fei couldn't help but laugh. His earlier Tiger Roar and the intense Auspicious Evil Energy seemed to have scared these War Trees.
Night after Night of Merrymaking gave Yang Fei a glare.
"Even ghosts fear evil people; it's exactly like you, even the War Tree is afraid of you."
Yang Fei chuckled, understanding that avoiding harm is simply an instinct of living organisms.
This trait was vividly demonstrated by the War Tree.
While Yang Fei chatted with Ye Shengge, the girl who had exchanged flirtatious glances with Yang Fei came over.
Her big eyes glanced at Ye Shengge and then extended her hand.
"Hello, I'm Ye Liuguang."
In his entire life, Yang Fei had never been rude to a girl.
He extended his hand and shook Ye Liuguang's.
"Hello, I'm Yang Fei, you can call me Brother Fei."
Ye Shengge watched Ye Liuguang come over, her face as cold as frost, not saying a word.

She leaned close to Yang Fei and lowered her voice: "Are you Shengge's male servant?"
"Male servant?"
Yang Fei gave Ye Shengge a pained look: "What is a male servant?"
Ye Liuguang widened her eyes.
"You don't even know what a male servant is? That's great, this means you're not Shengge's male servant either."
Her sparkling eyes glanced at Yang Fei with an amused expression.
"I just turned 18 and can choose a male servant. Would you like to be my first male servant?"
Yang Fei was shocked, looking at Ye Liuguang.
Seeing this innocent girl seriously choosing a man, just like ancient lords choosing concubines.
"Damn, who would've thought I'd become someone else's concubine here."

Then, he struggled to move his eyes away from Ye Liuguang's snowy white, towering place.

Yang Fei chuckled wryly twice.

Ye Liuguang suddenly realized.

Luminous Pearl walked up to the cave entrance, and the two guards saluted him.
Luminous Pearl waved to Yang Fei: "Come here."
Yang Fei walked over, and Luminous Pearl said plainly.
"Return to the place under the sunlight. I need to discuss with other elders, so you can stay here for a few days."
As she spoke, she specially reminded Yang Fei: "Don't wander around if there's nothing pressing."
"If there's any news, I will have Ye Shengge inform you."
