"What are you doing?" Huang Mengqi asked in confusion, why was he moving the bedding to the floor instead of sleeping on the bed?
Lin Chuan organized the bedding on the floor, lay down, and patted the spot beside him, signaling Huang Mengqi to lie down next to him, smiling and saying, "You didn't know, did you? This bed is so old, it creaks with any movement. If we get busy, we'll alert the entire village. To be safe, let's sleep on the floor tonight!"

He dressed, moved the bedding back onto the bed, and prepared for breakfast, as he'd heard Mengqi's mother asking Huang Tianyi to call him for breakfast.
Soon, Huang Tianyi called from outside, Lin Chuan replied, quickly tidying the bedding, carefully covering the area stained by Huang Mengqi, before heaved a sigh of relief, walking outside.
