The shadowy figure replied, "I dare not deceive Ksitigarbha. Over a thousand of us have arrived here, all commanded by the Yin Soul."
The Yin Soul is a minor leader in the underworld, something King of Hell Zhang Wenhui naturally knew very well.
"Then take me to the Yin Soul," Zhang Wenhui demanded.
The shadowy figure replied, "As long as Ksitigarbha spares me, I am willing to lead you to the Yin Soul."

"Xiao Ling, do you mean these fruits can lure the monsters to Hangu Pass?" Lin Chuan, holding onto the tree trunk and bracing his feet on a protruding rock, asked Xiao Ling.
Xiao Ling hissed twice, nodding its snake head repeatedly.
Still somewhat skeptical, Lin Chuan picked the lush green fruits from the trees, put them into his pocket, flipped up, and with a push from his feet, his body shot upwards to the top of the cliff.
At the top of the cliff, Lin Chuan took out the green fruits, sniffed them, and found they emitted a scent somewhat like mint.
"Xiao Ling, can these fruits really lure those monsters all the way to Hangu Pass?" Lin Chuan still had his doubts, thinking that just these few unknown fruits could lure every single one of tens of thousands of monsters to Hangu Pass.
