Gazing at the Emperor Nightclub, Song Xiaojia said, "Director Zhang, why don't we go in and confirm first?"
Zhang Wenhui said, "No, let's wait for the others to arrive and then act together."
A few minutes later, several officers arrived. Zhang Wenhui had them guard the entrance while he and Song Xiaojia went inside to check.
It was already close to 8 p.m., the nightclub was crowded, and it was Zhang Wenhui and Song Xiaojia's first time coming to such an upscale venue; they saw many people inside. Zhang Wenhui instructed Song Xiaojia to split up and search.
The two wandered around inside for a long time but didn't see a shadow of Yang Zi.

Zhang Wenhui pondered and said, "Bring a photo of Yang Zi; let's ask the staff here."

Yang Zi was indeed hiding here. Song Xiaojia looked at the waitress and asked, "Which floor is she on?"

The two headed to the staircase leading to the second floor. There was a bar at the elevator doors on the second floor where Song Xiaojia asked the bartender, who, after thinking for a while, shook his head, claiming he hadn't seen her.
This bartender appeared genuinely not to have seen Yang Zi. Zhang Wenhui and Song Xiaojia continued asking upstairs, reaching the third floor, but no one had seen Yang Zi.
The fourth floor was an office area, and the fifth floor wasn't connected to the Emperor Nightclub but was separate—hence, Yang Zi must be hiding on the fourth floor.
Zhang Wenhui and Song Xiaojia discussed briefly, then decided to go up and confirm if Yang Zi was there.
Arriving on the fourth floor, the hallway was very quiet, and Zhang Wenhui and Song Xiaojia watched from the hallway entrance for a long time, without hearing a sound.
Song Xiaojia decided to pretend to be a tourist and take a look around. Just as she was about to step into the hallway, there suddenly came the sound of a door opening, followed by a woman's voice: "Sister, you absolutely must not go out again. Once this blows over, I'll get you out first."
The two quickly looked over and saw Yang Zi and a beautiful woman talking under the hallway lights.
The woman speaking with Yang Zi was none other than Zheng Hongmei.

Receiving Director Hu's instructions, Zhang Wenhui promptly led Song Xiaojia and several officers straight to the fourth floor.
As Zhang Wenhui, Song Xiaojia, and several officers charged into Emperor Nightclub, a shadow suddenly flashed from the dark side to the west. The person wore very strange clothing, with an indescribable eerie look in their eyes—eyes that seemed unlike any human's, more akin to a dead fish's.
Under the dim reflected light, the person's face appeared terrifyingly pale, utterly bloodless and expressionless, standing stiffly upon emerging.
Zhang Wenhui and Song Xiaojia quickly advanced to the fourth floor, arriving at the door of the room where they had seen Yang Zi emerge earlier. Zhang gave Song a slight nod, and Song knocked on the door a few times.
Yang Zi had just lain down on the bed, hearing the knock and assuming Zheng Hongmei had returned, got up to open the door.
As soon as the door opened, Zhang Wenhui and Song Xiaojia rushed in. Before Yang Zi could react, Song seized her right arm with a capture technique and fastened a gleaming handcuff onto Yang Zi's wrist.
Yang Zi hadn't even had a chance to react; once the handcuffs were on, she realized she had been arrested.
"Yang Zi, you are under arrest. Here's the arrest warrant." Zhang Wenhui took the warrant from an officer behind him and showed it to Yang Zi, speaking coldly.
At this point, Yang Zi suddenly became very quiet, with a feeling of heightened anxiety throughout the day finally ended. She calmly looked at the officers in front of her without resisting and said, "Let's go."
Hearing the commotion, Zheng Hongmei hurried out of the office, saw them escorting Yang Zi, then noticed Yang Zi wearing handcuffs, realizing they were police, feeling a pang of sadness in her heart, as Yang Zi ultimately could not escape.

Zheng Hongmei didn't offer any excuses, allowing an officer to handcuff her.
"Officer, can I make a phone call to arrange some matters in the company?" Zheng Hongmei asked Zhang Wenhui.
Zhang Wenhui was silent for a moment and agreed to Zheng Hongmei's request. Given the scale of the nightclub, arranging matters was understandable.
After thanking him, Zheng Hongmei returned to her office, sorted out a few things, and followed the police downstairs.
Zhang Wenhui and others escorted Yang Zi and Zheng Hongmei to the elevator for the first floor. To avoid attracting attention, Zhang instructed his officers to shield the two with their bodies.
The police cars were parked at the nightclub entrance. Zhang Wenhui, Song Xiaojia, and several officers escorted Yang Zi and Zheng Hongmei out of the nightclub. Just as they reached the police cars, the figure from the shadows suddenly darted forward.
