While sitting down, Lin Chuan deliberately let Ma Yilin sit next to Zhou Kai, while he and Zhou Rui sat across from them.
"Xiao Ma, are you comfortable working at the company?" To break the ice, Lin Chuan started the conversation.
Ma Yilin smiled, "It's okay, Mr. Zhou takes good care of us newcomers."
Lin Chuan nodded and said, "That's good. How old are you this year, Xiao Ma?"
Ma Yilin said, "Twenty-two."
Lin Chuan continued, "Xiao Ma, do you have a boyfriend?"
Ma Yilin was slightly stunned, her pretty face showing a hint of bashfulness, "Not yet."
Lin Chuan chuckled and said, "That's good."

Ma Yili let out an "ah" and felt she understood a little bit. So, it's not Lin Chuan who has a crush on her but Zhou Kai sitting next to her.
To be honest, the first time she saw Zhou Kai, he hadn't left any impression on her. Since Lin Chuan asked, she naturally couldn't speak the truth. She glanced at Zhou Kai, found that he was also stealing glances at her, quickly shifting her gaze away, and said, "He's okay."
Lin Chuan then looked at Zhou Kai and asked, "Kai, what do you think of Xiao Ma?"
Zhou Kai responded rather nervously, "Very good."
After saying those two words, Zhou Kai fell silent again, bowing his head and continuing to drink tea.

Zhou Rui also said, "Yilin, Lin Dong and I have some matters to attend to; let him accompany you home."
Zhou Kai bowed his head and drank tea without uttering a word.
Lin Chuan was fuming inside, raising his right foot and kicking Zhou Kai under the table.
Zhou Kai was nearly knocked off his chair by Lin Chuan's kick, quickly tilting his body and standing up.
"You idiot, escort Xiao Ma home already," Lin Chuan couldn't help but curse.
"Chairman Lin, it's really not necessary, you all can continue with your work, I'll go first," Ma Yilin replied, turning to leave.
Lin Chuan and Zhou Rui glared angrily at Zhou Kai, their expressions clearly saying, "If you don't take Ma Yilin home, we'll skin you alive."
"Miss, Miss Ma, I should see you off," Zhou Kai said to Ma Yilin, scared by their angry looks, speaking boldly.
Ma Yilin wanted to refuse, but Lin Chuan interrupted, "Okay, okay, that's settled. Let Zhou Kai take you back."
"Alright then, thank you, Manager Zhou." Ma Yilin had no choice but to agree.
Lin Chuan walked over to Zhou Kai and whispered, "If you want to find a wife, listen to me. Don't take a cab when you leave, walk her home."
Zhou Kai said blankly, "It's not up to me."
"Damn, can't you use your brain to think of a way?" If Ma Yilin weren't nearby, Lin Chuan would've given this guy a good thrashing.
As soon as Zhou Kai and Ma Yilin left the private room, Lin Chuan immediately took out his phone and made a call.
"Lin Chuan, what's on your mind now?" Zhou Rui couldn't help but ask, hearing Lin Chuan on the phone saying he wanted to find someone to intercept Zhou Kai and Ma Yilin halfway.
"Heh heh, I want to give Zhou Kai a chance to play the hero and rescue the beauty, to help him out," Lin Chuan said with a grin.
Zhou Rui rolled her eyes at Lin Chuan and said, "You really have a lot of lousy ideas."
Zhou Kai and Ma Yilin walked out of the teahouse. Thinking of Lin Chuan's words, Zhou Kai quickly said, "Miss Ma, it's hard to catch a cab here, I'll accompany you to the front to get one."
Ma Yilin nodded and said, "Manager Zhou, stop calling me Miss Ma for everything, it's awful, just call me Ma Yilin."
Zhou Kai awkwardly smiled, his face turning red.
Seeing Zhou Kai's embarrassed look, Ma Yilin covered her mouth and laughed.
The two walked side by side on the street, having barely walked three hundred meters when three young men approached, dressed in a bizarre manner, clearly street thugs.

One of the street thugs whistled as he reached them, looking at Ma Yilin with a smirk and said, "Nice looking chick, huh."
Ma Yilin, feeling a bit scared, edged closer to Zhou Kai.
Zhou Kai glared coldly at the three young punks, staying silent.
"Hey girl, come on, let me buy you a drink," another young punk reached out to touch Ma Yilin's face.
Zhou Kai suddenly blocked him with his body and slapped the young punk's hand away, angrily saying, "Get lost."
"Oh wow, trying to play hero, huh? Check yourself before you try that. Get lost, quickly," the punk who whistled said in a sinister tone.
Ma Yilin, a straightforward girl, was scared and quickly grabbed Zhou Kai's coat and said, "Forget it, Manager Zhou, let's just leave."
Zhou Kai didn't even bother with these street thugs, turning to Ma Yilin with a smile, he said, "Don't worry, I'm here, you don't have to be scared."
Afterward, facing the three young punks, he coldly said, "Apologize to this lady right now, or don't blame me for being rude to you."

Ma Yilin looked at Zhou Kai worriedly before quickly stepping aside.
Zhou Kai crossed his arms, glaring coldly at the three young punks, saying, "You're asking for trouble, don't blame me."
At this moment, two young punks charged at Zhou Kai, Zhou Kai took a step forward, moving his right leg forward, swinging his right fist fiercely at the punk on the left.
