Chapter 1014 - 1011: Cheers
Hearing the queen say this, the two agents exchanged glances and unlocked Lin Chuan's handcuffs.
The queen walked up to Lin Chuan, took his hand, and said, "Baron Lin Chuan, we haven't seen each other for some time. I've missed you dearly."
Lin Chuan chuckled lightly and said, "Your Majesty's favor makes me feel somewhat overwhelmened with honor."
The queen giggled and said, "Your tongue can make people dizzy with flattery."
Inside the villa, as they settled down, a very beautiful woman immediately served two cups of coffee.
The coffee was fragrant, authentic Blue Mountain. Under the queen's courtesy, Lin Chuan took a sip, and a sweet yet slightly bitter taste flowed down his throat.
The queen also took a sip of coffee, then gently put down her cup and said to Lin Chuan, "Lin Chuan, I've already met with President Omama of the United States. He promised me that as long as you take British nationality, he would send you to the International Military Court for a public trial."
Lin Chuan understood the secret; as long as he was sent to the International Military Court for a public trial, it meant he wouldn't be sentenced to death. As long as he wasn't sentenced to death, the queen would certainly have a way to rescue him.
Lin Chuan did not answer the queen, took another sip of coffee, put down the cup, and resolutely said to the queen, "Your Majesty, I am very grateful for your favor, but I cannot agree."
"Why?" The queen looked a bit surprised.
Lin Chuan smiled and said, "Your Majesty, I am a Chinese citizen. I have my own morals and principles. I cannot abandon my own country and become a traitor. Your Majesty, you wouldn't want me to become such a person, right?"
The queen pondered in silence.
Lin Chuan continued, "Your Majesty, I don't want you to be in a difficult situation because of my predicament, so thank you for the coffee. I will take my leave now."
Having said that, he stood up and started to walk out.
Before Lin Chuan could take two steps, the queen said with a playful tone, "Lin Chuan, please sit down first."
Lin Chuan, unable to refuse, had to sit back down.
The queen said, "Lin Chuan, I also have some bad news to tell you. Your brothers got into a fight with a local gang this afternoon, and two of them were arrested by the police."
Lin Chuan was shocked and quickly asked, "Your Majesty, is what you're saying true?"
The queen nodded and said, "The information is absolutely reliable."
Lin Chuan was silent since he had already advised them to keep a low profile these days, as even a small incident could lead to big troubles. Those two must be rescued.
Although Lin Chuan didn't know which two were arrested, they were all his brothers from the Jvyi Gang. Reason and sentiment compelled him to rescue them. But being currently imprisoned, he couldn't go out himself, so it seemed he needed the queen's help.
"Your Majesty, I have a favor to ask, and I hope you can agree." Lin Chuan, after a pause, said.
The queen seemed to know what Lin Chuan was about to say and smiled slightly, "Lin Chuan, don't worry about your two brothers. I'll have them out of jail in the next few days."
"Thank you, Your Majesty. I, Lin Chuan, owe you a favor. If you ever need my help, just say the word, and I'll go through fire and water without hesitation."
The queen laughed and said, "That's a promise from you."
Lin Chuan said, "A man should not go back on his word. However, Your Majesty, regarding the nationality issue, I cannot agree."
"Alright, I like your character. I won't bring it up again," the queen cheerfully said.
Lin Chuan said, "Thank you, Your Majesty."
Suddenly, the queen put on a serious face and said to Lin Chuan, "Lin Chuan, it seems the U.S. government won't let you go easily. I'm doing my best to help, aiming at using media and diplomatic pressure to force the U.S. government to hand you over to the International Military Court."
Moved by the queen's kindness, Lin Chuan said, "Your Majesty, your generosity is something I can hardly repay. But I promise that if Britain ever needs me, I will help without hesitation."
"Good, that's all I want to hear. Come on, let's have a toast," the queen said, raising her coffee cup: "Cheers..."
...
Washington DC Police Department, United States.
Li Qiang and Taozi were locked in a detention room, detained because they were not U.S. citizens and were carrying weapons without permission.
At this moment, Li Qiang, full of regret, looked at Taozi and said, "Taozi, I'm sorry for you. If it weren't for me, you wouldn't have gotten injured and arrested."
Taozi smiled and patted Li Qiang on the shoulder, saying, "Hey, we're all part of the same team. I don't blame you, so don't dwell on it."
"Good brother." Li Qiang, touched to the point of tears, hugged Taozi tightly.
Taozi pushed Li Qiang aside and laughed, "Dude, what are you doing? I'm not into that, haha."
While the two were chatting away, the door of the detention room opened, and a police officer at the door shouted to them, "Li Qiang, Chen Tao, come out."
Fortunately, Taozi had been in the United States for a long time, so he still understood English. He quickly got up and walked out of the detention room with Li Qiang.
Following the police to the office area, a refined-looking man with glasses and a big nose approached and said in English, "I am your representing lawyer. You're fine now, you can go home."
Taozi understood English and was instantly too surprised to speak.
Li Qiang saw Taozi's expression and thought something was wrong, his face darkened, and he looked like he was about to lose his temper.
Taozi quickly hugged Li Qiang, shouting happily, "Dude, we're fine, we can go!"
Li Qiang was stunned, looking at Taozi, then at the big-nosed lawyer, and asked in surprise, "Taozi, who rescued us?"
Taozi paused; yeah, who found this lawyer? He needed to clear this up, so he asked the big-nosed lawyer in English, "May I ask, sir, who sent you to bail us out?"
The big-nosed lawyer pushed his glasses up with his right hand and said, "You don't need to know that; you just need to know you're fine now and can leave."
Taozi saw that the big-nosed lawyer was reluctant to tell them and guessed it must have been Zhou Kai who found the lawyer. So the two left the police station happily and headed towards the Green Hotel.
The moment they returned to the Green Hotel, a junior saw Li Qiang and quickly ran to tell Zhou Kai.
Zhou Kai, along with Zhou Rui and Lu Dapao, was worried about them. Upon hearing they were back, Zhou Kai thought they were rescued by Tang Yumeng, thinking to himself, a secretary is indeed a secretary, with such broad connections.
"Kai, you're awesome, how broad are your connections?" Li Qiang laughed heartily.
Zhou Kai said, "I don't have such great skills. If you're able to come out, you should really thank Secretary Tang."
"Right, right, Kai, you should quickly call Secretary Tang, I want to personally express my gratitude." Li Qiang said.
Zhou Kai dialed Tang Yumeng's number, and as soon as the call connected, without giving Tang Yumeng a chance to speak, Zhou Kai poured out a string of thankfulness: "Secretary Tang, thank you so much, Li Qiang and Taozi are back, thank you..."
Over the phone, Tang Yumeng was baffled. She hadn't sent a lawyer to rescue Li Qiang and Taozi at all, and she immediately thought of Silver Fox; she'd mentioned this to Silver Fox, so it seemed he must have been the one to rescue them.
Tang Yumeng told Zhou Kai over the phone, "You don't need to thank me; I asked someone else to help. It's good you're back, as long as you're safe."
After hanging up, Tang Yumeng immediately called Silver Fox again, telling him the two people from Zhou Kai's side had been released.
Silver Fox asked Tang Yumeng who rescued them, and Tang Yumeng was surprised, saying it wasn't you who found someone to rescue them?
Silver Fox was stunned for a while and said he hadn't even found someone yet. Tang Yumeng was also taken aback and called Zhou Kai again, saying it wasn't her side that rescued them.
When Zhou Kai and others received Tang Yumeng's call, they were all stunned. Who rescued Li Qiang and Taozi? Couldn't be Lin Chuan, right? But Lin Chuan was locked up in jail, and no matter how talented he was, he couldn't have escaped the heavily guarded Washington prison to rescue them, could he?
Zhou Kai and the others would probably never have dreamed that it was indeed Lin Chuan who rescued Li Qiang and Taozi.
Lin Chuan had enlisted the help of Queen Elizabeth of the United Kingdom. After all, the Queen is a well-known figure, so this small matter was nothing to her, which is why Li Qiang and Taozi could be released so easily.
If Li Qiang knew that it was the British royal queen who saved him, who knows what his expression would be.

Washington Post headquarters.
Lawrence, the chief reporter renowned for writing sensitive topics, had just started his day when he received an email, opened it, and found it contained a document.
Upon closely examining the document's content, Lawrence's eyes immediately lit up. He instantly sensed that publishing this would cause a massive stir.
He immediately went to see Mr. Zhanisi, the head of the news department, and showed him the email first.
The United States is a country with highly open freedom of press, so as long as it's major news, no matter which government department is involved, even the President, journalists dare to expose it.
Seeing the email, Mr. Zhanisi's eyes also lit up, and he immediately instructed Lawrence to draft a news article based on the email's content, aiming to get it published as soon as possible on the newspaper's front page.

United States White House, President's office.
Omama was filled with anger, pointing at Everson's nose and cursing, "You CIA people are all useless; how did this information get leaked? Look at this."
