Interstellar Beast Master

Chapter 81: Irreversible I

Chapter 81: Irreversible I

The mere idea that masked Beast Masters would enter the Hollow Stacks and begin a rampage that left more dead bodies than any incidents in the past few years was insane enough.

The reality, that these masked Beast Masters were actually Guardians from Skyglass Heights, was horrendous.

But disastrous... was the fact that, as of this moment, they had just received the information that two confirmed Guardians had just been killed.

"Why would they do this?!"

The Enforcer Commander, Elizabeth, roared as her Winged Destiny Eel flashed its wings behind her.

She had a live stream playing on a screen of her Enforcer Drone flying across the air across the devastation of the Hollow Stacks as currently, it displayed the unmasked figure of Guardian Dawn who had the entirety of the center of his chest missing.

Guardian Theresa. Guardian Dawn.

Well-known Symbiotic Resonance Interstellar Beast Masters of the Skyglass Heights.

They had beast corporations behind them, and news of them dying in the Hollow Stacks meant this whole situation was unfolding in an utterly unfathomable direction.

Because thousands of dead Stackborn was going to be a storm, yes.

But dead Guardians?

"Fuck. Find me where the other Masked Guardians are. And get me in contact with Premier White. Under no circumstances are we to have more Guardians involved!"

And the situation was already horrendously messy.

They could not increase it anymore, as they now had to go into damage control.

And what was happening right now...

Enforcer Commander Elizabeth looked down from her drone as she followed the path of destruction the masked Beast Masters had laid out.

Decimated apartment complexes, destroyed restaurants and bars. Even torn-down brothels as its patrons rushed out in blood.

Screams and bodies lay everywhere as they saw the torn-apart figures of Vagrant Beast Masters and their beasts here and there.

"..."

All of this... was going to be so much damage control that Enforcer Commander Elizabeth knew this would change the status quo between the Hollow Stacks and the Skyglass Heights for some time in the future.

"And who the fuck in the Hollow Stacks is able to kill Symbiotic Resonance Interstellar Beast Masters so quickly? Get me data on that masked Beast Master that can go invisible!"

She roared as she looked at the live stream, showing the events unfolding in the Rustblood Circuit Arena as at this moment, the invisible figure that had just blasted a hole in Guardian Dawn reappeared, kneeling down and heaving as if he had just exhausted himself with what he had done.

Damian’s mind flashed coldly with calculation.

He was enraged at the scene that he saw, yes, and he had moved to kill two Guardians at this moment.

He knew this and understood full well what it meant to do something like that.

Especially when he unmasked them and their identities became clear to all.

Known Guardians from Skyglass Heights.

Since his masked body was seen going after them and going invisible in order to kill them, he had now come under public scrutiny as it could be seen in the cybernetic eye implants of multiple injured Stackborn and the mobile devices of other Stackborn recording everything here from a distance.

His existence was revealed freely, and at this moment, what he could do was control the perception of others when it came to understanding how little they knew of how much power he held.

So after he killed Guardian Dawn, he communicated with Kitsuul to release his veiling as he even put on an act and fell to his knees while heaving.

As if to show that what he had done just now had required a tremendous amount from him and that he was exhausted.

That him becoming invisible was exhausting and took a heavy toll to do.

Even though his body still felt like it was burning full of power and rage as he barely broke a sweat killing these Guardians that had Entropic Energy Values much lesser than him.

As he seemingly heaved on the ground and slowly caught himself together while rising...

The silence in the surroundings was deafening.

Groans and screams echoed throughout as many Stackborn raised their heads from the stands at this moment, raising their fists up in silence.

Too many around them were dead.

Above, where the VIP rooms used to be, the masked Trial Guardian Serena trembled while Anastasia’s eyes shone with a ferocious glare.

Behind them, an invisible Kitsuul in her massive second form stood as its eyes had become cold and regal while it watched for any threats.

In the midst of such a heavy silence...

"Sir Vagrant Hero. Sir Vagrant Hero. I know where the other three Masked Killer Beast Masters rampaging across the Hollow Stacks are. HAO here will lead you to them!"

...!

A glowing round drone with metallic wings flew out from the rubble, Damian seeing a scantily clad Vagrant Beast Master coming out with a large Mastiff to help the other two Vagrant Beast Masters down on the Arena Floor.

HAO.

The Hostile Arena Operator that oversaw his matches here not too long ago.

Damian looked at it coldly and nodded. There were three more Masked Guardians? Okay!

Damian’s eyes under the mask flashed with a killing light.

HAO’s drone began to fly out of the Rustblood Circuit Arena as Damian followed!

He left behind a devastating scene, and the moment he left, the heavily injured Stackborn slowly walked off the stands and into the arena where Guardian Dawn stood, dead with his chest wide open, and a decapitated Guardian Theresa also stood.

Many had eyes filled with anger and rage, as some of them were here with their only families, and they lost them.

Others lost limbs or simply fell to sheer terror and fear as golden lightning had been rampaging all around them, ready to kill them at any moment.

So at this moment...

PAH.

A scrap of metal struck the corpse of Guardian Dawn.

Someone had thrown it.

An injured Stackborn, face twisted with rage.

And that was all it took.

Others followed. Bits of pipe, bricks, and broken tech- anything they could find, they hurled at the fallen Guardians.

Soon, they surged forward, unable to stop. The unapproachable had become vulnerable.

They toppled the once-revered Guardians from where they lay, fists pounding, feet kicking.

...!

Cybernetic limbs crushed bones.

Stackborn screams filled the air, not from fear, but fury and grief.

A moment burned into history.

Two elite Guardians of Skyglass Heights, beaten and torn apart by the very people they tried to silence!
