Chapter 135: Battle At The Factory(III) (2nd Bonus)
"Bierzim?!" Dante yelled in genuine terror as he saw his summon sustain very fatal damage.
The injury forced Bierzim to immediately cease its concentrated beam attack on Nina. And the moment she was free from the pressure, Nina didn’t hesitate for even a second.
She hurled her golden Shield of Pythos toward the vulnerable summon spirit that was still clutching at its throat trying desperately to stem the flow of blood.
The shield spun through the air like a massive discus and struck Bierzim directly in its center mass with a sickening crunch.
The impact hurled the summon backward into a wall with such force that cracks spread outward from the point of impact, before the wall collapsed entirely on top of it.
"Bierzim!" Dante yelled again, as he watched the wall fall over his summon.
But right in that exact moment, Casper had launched himself toward Ethan, his legs leaving the ground as he closed the distance between them in one devastating leap.
However, before he could reach his target, something massive descended from above.
A gigantically large blade forged from absolute darkness fell directly into the space between them with such catastrophic impact that it struck the floor like a meteor crashing to earth.
The shockwave that erupted outward from the point of impact was enormous, and It caught Casper mid-launch while his feet were still off the ground, slamming into him and blowing him backward through the air before he could complete his attack.
His body tumbled end-over-end before he managed to right himself and land in a defensive crouch several meters away.
Dante who was the last to expect that was hurled away as well, thrown several meters backward before he crashed hard into the ground and rolled to a stop.
The same violent shockwave rushed toward Nina, who quickly raised her shield-bearing arm over her face defensively to protect herself from the impact as the force blew over her position.
Even Ethan felt it.
His legs skidded backward across as the shockwave struck him, but he dug his heels in and held his ground, refusing to be thrown back like the others.
Then a wide smile broke across his lips as he looked upward toward the sky above them.
"Way to make an entry, my love," Ethan said with genuine pride and relief in his voice.
Casper slowly raised his head from his crouched position to stare up at the figure hovering in the air above them all.
And his eyes widened as he took in what he was seeing.
The Princess was floating there with her most of her body encased in darkness, save for her fae. Her long black hair drifted weightlessly, and her expression was one of absolute fury as she stared down at the battlefield.
But what truly shocked Casper wasn’t her appearance.
It was the sheer magnitude of magical power radiating off her in waves so thick and oppressive that even he could feel it pressing down on him from this distance.
"Grand Class?" Casper whispered in genuine disbelief.
But right then, before he could process this new threat properly, Isabella raised one hand above her head.
And several multiple projectiles of concentrated darkness materialized around her in response to that single gesture.
Each one smaller than the massive blade she had just dropped as they hovered in the air like a swarm of black arrows awaiting her command.
She stared down at Casper from her position in the sky with a condescending look on her face. Then she pointed directly toward him with one finger and all those projectiles rained down at once.
"Well, I’ll be damned," Casper whispered under his breath. Then he vanished.
His body became a blur of motion as he moved from side to side at speeds that made him nearly impossible to track with the naked eye.
He zigzagged across as one projectile struck the ground behind him and detonated with explosive force, sending chunks of concrete flying in all directions.
He leaped sideways to avoid another that came down from above like a meteor, the impact cratering the ground.
Another came at him from a different angle and he pivoted on one foot before launching himself forward in a burst of speed that carried him clear of the blast radius as the projectile exploded behind him.
He kept moving faster and faster, weaving through the rain of dark energy with increasingly desperate movements as Isabella continued to launch projectiles without pause or mercy.
Each one tracked his position with frightening accuracy, as though they were heat-seeking missiles locked onto him.
The ground beneath him became a minefield of smoking craters and scattered debris as Casper pushed himself to his absolute limits just to stay alive under the relentless assault raining down from above.

Ethan stared up at his lover for just a second longer, watching with something close to awe as she forced the strongest one into full retreat mode.
"Well, it seems she’s got that guy handled." Ethan said, then his attention returned forward toward Dante, who had pushed himself back up onto his feet and was now staring directly at Ethan with fury in his eyes.
"And it seems," Ethan continued as he adjusted his grip on Ragnarok’s hilt, "I have to deal with this guy."
Nina walked closer to stand beside Ethan once more. She had dirt and black marks covering parts of her armor and face but with that same unwavering determination still in her eyes as she looked toward their next opponent.
"Ready to go, my liege," Nina said.
Across from them, Bierzim forced itself back onto its feet despite the massive wound still bleeding profusely from its throat.
The demonic summon stumbled forward on unsteady legs until it reached Dante’s side.
Dante then reached out one hand toward his summon without taking his eyes off Ethan for even a second.
Then he spoke in low tones:
"Fuse with me, Bierzim."
