Yu Suye smiled. "I know. You and Ruoruo have a really great relationship."

She added, "My brother and I have a great relationship, too."

After another moment of silence, Yu Suye said slowly, "My family knows we’re together. My mom came here specifically to persuade me to leave you."

"I expect my dad and my grandpa will probably come over, too..."

Noticing the muscles in Yan Feifan’s face begin to tense, Yu Suye quickly said, "Don’t worry, I’ll handle all of it."

"You just need to be yourself and confidently admit that you’re my boyfriend in front of them. That’s all."

Yan Feifan said "Oh," and stated, "That much, I can do."

He then asked with concern, "Um, besides trying to persuade you, what else will your family do to you?"

Yu Suye shook her head gently. "Aside from trying to guilt me with our family ties, there’s not much else they can do."
