The Revenge of the Reborn Supreme Sovereign

Chapter 446 - 436: This is the Plan!

"Mr. Suzuki, this—!" a subordinate whispered, his face pale as they watched Qin Fan and his two companions calmly walk away from their encirclement.

"What are you talking about?! Idiot, retreat!" Unable to vent his pent-up frustration, Suzuki Chishiy slapped the man across the face and shouted furiously.

No one at the Hua Sheng Group had expected this to turn into a farce—an embarrassing one in which the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department was utterly humiliated. They had arrived full of bravado, heavily armed and in a grand formation, only to end up slinking away in disgrace. Not only had they failed to take anyone with them, but they had also been repeatedly shamed by Chairman Gao.

Laughter erupted from the Hua Sheng Group employees, most of whom were from Huaxia, as they watched the police leave in disarray.

"Chairman Gao is mighty!"

"Chairman Gao is formidable!"

"Chairman Gao is mighty!"

"Chairman Gao is formidable!"

The enthusiastic shouts struck the backs of Suzuki Chishiy and his men like a tidal wave. Although they couldn’t understand the Chinese, they knew it couldn’t be anything good. It was like rubbing salt in the wound—a textbook example. Fortunately, a final shred of reason held him back; otherwise, he couldn’t guarantee he wouldn’t have ordered his men to open fire.

Damn you, people of Huaxia! Just you wait! You bastards!

Muttering angrily to himself, Suzuki Chishiy yanked open his car door and jumped in.

As the police convoy departed, Gao Qi drove off in the opposite direction in a Mercedes, acting as a chauffeur for Qin Fan and Hua Xiaotian.

"Master Qin, Master Hua, where are we headed?" Gao Qi asked from the driver’s seat.

"To the Yamamoto Group," Qin Fan stated directly.

What the hell? To the Yamamoto Group?

Upon hearing this, Hua Xiaotian and Gao Qi were both stunned. For Gao Qi, what business could they possibly have at the Yamamoto Group? For Hua Xiaotian, did this mean the battle was about to start?

"Master Qin, are we taking action now?" Hua Xiaotian asked nervously, his brow furrowed.

"What else? I’m not fond of this country, so the sooner we settle this, the sooner we can go home. Besides, I’ve spent less than two full days at the university all told. It’s getting hard to explain," Qin Fan said with a light laugh.

University? Had Qin Fan not mentioned it, Hua Xiaotian and Gao Qi would have completely forgotten that he was still a student.

"Master Qin, what are we doing at the Yamamoto Group?" Although Gao Qi was pretty sure he knew the answer, he still had to ask.

"Killing," Qin Fan replied nonchalantly, a playful smile on his face.

"Master Qin, forgive my boldness, but who at the Yamamoto Group has offended you? Yamamoto Ichiro? I heard he has a whole brigade of ninjas protecting him," Gao Qi said.

"A ninja brigade? Heh! No brigade can save him. Anyway, Chairman Gao, just set the navigation. You shouldn’t follow us and get mixed up in this. We likely won’t be coming back from this trip," Qin Fan said.

"Not coming back? You mean—?"

SCREECH! Gao Qi slammed on the brakes, turning to stare at Qin Fan and Hua Xiaotian in shock.

Hua Xiaotian, who could never quite figure out Qin Fan’s intentions, didn’t press the matter. Instead, he simply nodded at Gao Qi. "Just listen to Master Qin. Also, Little Qi, try to stay in for a while until the situation with the attacks becomes clearer. I’ll arrange for some overseas members of the Guardian Institute to come over and ensure your safety."

"Master Hua, there’s no need! People with guns are no threat, and the state has covertly assigned me a Dragon Group detail for my protection. If you hadn’t been there earlier, they would have already shown themselves. How about this? I’ll just drop you off in Chiyoda District. It’s not that much farther," Gao Qi said sensibly, his usual roguish demeanor replaced by a grave expression.

"Alright. Let’s go, then," Qin Fan agreed without any fuss.

The Mercedes started up again, racing toward Chiyoda District.

The ride was silent, the atmosphere heavy. Fortunately, the distance wasn’t too great. Including traffic, the car pulled to a stop about an hour later. Looking out the window, they could see it right across the street—the headquarters of the Yamamoto Group.

"Master Qin, there’s the Yamamoto Group," Gao Qi said, turning around from the driver’s seat. "By the way, do you know what Yamamoto Ichiro looks like? Should I find a picture for you?"

"No need. I know him. This is far enough, Chairman Gao. We’ll meet again if fate allows. We’re going."

With a soft chuckle, Qin Fan pushed open the Mercedes’ door. Hua Xiaotian quickly did the same on his side.

"Master Qin, Master Hua, take care!" Gao Qi called out, rolling down his window with a solemn look on his face.

"Go on," Qin Fan said, waving a hand dismissively without turning back. Hua Xiaotian waved as well.

Without another word, Gao Qi rolled up the window, stepped on the gas, and the Mercedes sped away.

"Master Qin, can you tell me your plan?" Hua Xiaotian asked, frowning as he gazed up at the Yamamoto Group’s magnificent building.

At this moment, he felt incredibly reckless. Based on nothing more than a few words from Qin Fan, he had risked everything to come to Japan with him. What awaited them was undoubtedly a series of life-or-death battles against Divine Ninjas, Onmyoji, Orochi, and perhaps even an assault by the Japanese military. With so many unknown variables, how could he possibly handle it all? Hua Xiaotian had no confidence. None at all.

"First, we wipe out every last devil in the Yamamoto Group. Then we exterminate Yamamoto Ichiro’s entire clan, burn down the Jingguo Society, and lure out Japan’s Onmyoji and that ninja scum. Finally, we level Mount Fuji. That’s the plan. Are you scared?" Qin Fan asked with a slight smile, not yet moving forward.

BZZT!

Hearing this so-called plan, Hua Xiaotian’s body trembled violently.

This... This is a declaration of war on all of Japan! He’s insane! Absolutely mad! A plan like this, on Japanese soil... isn’t that just a death wish?

"Master Qin, are you serious?" Hua Xiaotian asked, his eyes wide and his voice trembling.

"Completely," Qin Fan said with a smile. He added, "Master Hua, if you can overcome this hurdle, I guarantee the benefits you’ll receive will be beyond your wildest dreams."

Benefits? Overcome this hurdle? Hearing Qin Fan dangle this carrot, Hua Xiaotian felt no excitement, only rising panic. As far as he was concerned, this hurdle was insurmountable. Even if Qin Fan was a peerless prodigy, could one person really take on all of Japan’s ninjas, Onmyoji, and other unknown experts and Abnormals? It was suicide, plain and simple. He could feel his heart hammering in his chest. If he had the choice to do it all over again, knowing this was Qin Fan’s real plan, he never would have followed him on this insane journey. But was there a way out now? Their identities were exposed, the Onmyoji had already made a move... if he left Qin Fan’s side, could he even escape Japan alive?

"So be it. Life and death are decided by fate; wealth and honor are determined by heaven," Hua Xiaotian muttered, using the old saying to console himself. He took a deep breath, pushing aside all the pointless anxieties. "Master Qin, your plan doesn’t mention Orochi?"

"Orochi is on Mount Fuji. ’Leveling Mount Fuji’ means wiping out every last one of the damn demons and monsters there. Enough chatter. Let’s go. Time to fire our first shot at the Yamamoto Group."

After speaking in an easygoing tone, Qin Fan strolled forward toward the Yamamoto Group. He walked leisurely, his hands behind his back, an innocuous, sunny smile on his face.
