After Black Chains saw what had happened, his avatar stepped away from Loki in confusion and fear, saying, "Wait a minute. Something is not right. You shouldn’t be this strong. What did you do? How did you do that?"But Loki just smiled and said, "Now, who is the ignorant fool?"
Then he proceeded to smash the black monkey.
He rushed over to the monkey and smacked it around. He smashed it into the ground with his fist and kicked it up with his foot. All the while, his external body was tearing the black monkey apart.
He was having a nice time, but Black Chains was not. In fact, no Dao Lord was having a nice time.
Heavenly Eye’s eye twitched as she said, "I am screwed, aren’t I?"
Martial Will nodded and said, "Yes, you are. We are all screwed."
Heavenly Eye seemed to accept this verdict, but Sword Maestro refused to accept it. The Dao Lord of the Sword Way Sect shook his head and said, "This can’t be allowed to continue. We have to do something to stop him."
He believed that everyone would take his side on this, but Martial Will chuckled in amusement and said, "What are you so anxious about?"
"At least you have one more pathway to fall back on. Heavenly Eye and Black Chains here are done for. They should be the ones panicking, not you."
Tepid Scholar also said, "Maybe this isn’t exactly the worst thing possible. At least, Black Chains will lose all of its pathways and die. That doesn’t seem like a bad deal to make for one pathway."
Hearing this, Martial Will immediately perked up and said, "Right? The whole world will belong to the two of us. We can share it or fight each other for it."
But Tepid Scholar shook his head, saying, "I think you’re getting ahead of yourself there."
He pointed at himself as he said, "I will still have two Grand Daos if I lose my Formation Pathway."
Then he pointed at Martial Will and said, "You, on the other hand, will only have your Strength Pathway, which is only a Major Dao. So how can you compete with me?"
In response, Martial Will sneered and said, "You will be surprised, old man."
His voice was full of pride and confidence as he said, "It is not the first time I will be underestimated. You will be the latest in the series of those who’ve underestimated me and paid the price with their life."
When Heavenly Eye heard this, she shook her head and said, "I am not even dead yet, but you’re already fighting over how to divide the world in my absence."
Then she said to Black Chains, "I hope you have a plan to turn the situation around. Please tell me you have something planned."
In response, Black Chains glared at her and said, "What other plan can I have? Look at the situation clearly and tell me if there is a chance of a comeback?"
