Villain Seduces to Rise in Status

Chapter 88 - How Dragons Fight

"Don’t let it escape!" the enemy forces cried out as Cale erupted from the sea. Their initial shock gave way to desperate aggression.

"Those leading the charge will be Experts and Grandmasters! Go!" The elite vanguard descended with lethal precision, their weapons drawn, determined to bring down the legendary beast.

Their coordinated assault meant nothing. Cale, fully transformed, radiated absolute supremacy.

"My physical strength too has gone up, and can kill anyone two levels higher, meaning Mid-Level Emperors ca be dealt with too.." he thought with confidence as their energy attacks harmlessly splashed against his impregnable, shimmering defenses.

To Cale, their desperate efforts were completely meaningless.

’Mere Expert levels are no threat to me, hehe’ ,he declared internally.

With a horrifying snap of his massive, craggy wings, he shattered their ranks in an instant, turning the elite soldiers into mangled forms.

As the remaining soldiers watched their strongest warriors evaporate into a spray of blood, terror took hold. Some even started running away.

’None of you can escape,’ Cale’s presence seemed dangerous. Panic set in as the survivors realized the horrifying truth.

"Run! It’s too strong!" they screamed, their formation breaking as they scrambled frantically to escape the monster they had unwittingly unleashed.

"Run!" The terrified scream echoed through the stormy sky as the surviving vanguard broke and fled in absolute panic. Cale towered above the churning clouds, his massive, gold-laced black scales radiating an oppressive, dark energy.

He let out a deafening roar, but his internal systems immediately detected a fresh wave of approaching hostiles: Two groups led by Experts with a few grandmasters, Groups 1 and 2.

"Even if I’ve just turned into an Emperor, this is troublesome," he thought as the new, deadlier auras approached. "Guess, I can’t just fly off from here..."

"I need to choose a battlefield where I can maximize my advantages." Tucking his colossal, jagged wings against his heavily armored body, he plummeted from the stormy sky, diving straight back into the violent sea.

Beneath the crashing waves, the floating remains of the previous vanguard drifted silently—a grim testament to the fact that Cale had effortlessly wiped out all forty-something of them in mere moments.

But the newly arrived elite reinforcements were unfazed. "He is here," whispered a pale, demon-horned enemy commander as Cale’s enormous shadow eclipsed the murky underwater light.

’They’ve got demon bloods too?’

"Everyone, don’t go head-to-head with him," the pale Wang Zetian ordered his elite squad, his glowing red eyes tracking the dragon’s descent through the freezing water.

"That beast form is huge and can’t move as quickly in small spaces as humans. And dragons can’t be good in both air and water."

Drawing their lethal purple energy weapons, the elite warriors synchronized their movements. "Attack!" he roared, launching a fierce, coordinated ambush against the monstrous black dragon underwater.

The ocean depths became a chaotic battlefield.

From the murky gloom, Cale emerged with startling speed, completely defying his massive size as he engaged the newly arrived enemies.

"Sigh... there’s no end to them... are they trying to tire me out so I turn back again?"

Purple energy beams streaked through the water, illuminating his jagged black scales as he easily dodged and countered the initial barrage from the warriors.

His massive, golden-laced claws slashed effortlessly through the water, tearing the first squad to shreds. With terrifying grace, Cale whipped his massive tail, snapping another soldier in half and sending their crushed body floating motionless into the freezing abyss.

The water quickly became clouded with debris and the remains of those who dared cross his path.

Desperate to survive, the remaining soldiers retaliated with everything they had.

They unleashed a furious volley of swirling, purple energy bolts, desperately hoping to pierce his thick armor. A massive purple energy shield was generated, and a massive purple blade was launched.

But Cale simply banked, his massive wings deflecting the attacks as if they were nothing more than annoying insects.

’Oh right! I’m a dragon, so why not...’

A devastating blast of pure, blinding golden energy erupted from his maw, instantly vaporizing a group of attackers.

With the sheer force of his movements, he shattered a massive underwater rock formation casted, using the falling debris to crush the remaining soldiers, leaving him to reign supreme in the silent, watery graveyard he had created as the people behind started their retreat.

"Trying to run? Too late," Cale thought with a dark smirk, his massive form slicing through the water. He easily dodged a barrage of attacks.

The soldiers were desperate, but their efforts were futile against the dragon’s overwhelming speed. "Everyone, form up and block the dragon," their commander ordered.

The soldiers scrambled, their energy blades flashing in the murky depths.

Despite their best efforts, their attacks barely scratched him.

"I-it sure is a ... dragon’s lineage, still isn’t done for despite such attacks, he isn’t even tired. My hands are numb," a soldier grunted, his energy weapon shaking in his grasp.

"A long battle is not in my favor. I must use my full force". Cale closed his eyes, his consciousness momentarily shifting back to his human form. The golden circuitry on his skin flared brilliantly.

"That guy is going all out!" one of the enemy commanders observed, his eyes wide with fear. "Don’t kill it, just try to run away!" the pale commander ordered, his gaze fixed on the dragon’s overwhelming power.

"Just get out alive," the pale commander ordered as Cale’s power flared, sending shockwaves through the dark water.

The sheer intensity of the dragon’s aura caused the water to boil and churn.

"Its energy index is rapidly increasing. 50%, 80%, 120, 200, and it’s still rising," a soldier yelled, panic clear in his voice as he tracked the monstrous power. "Don’t be afraid! This is a rare opportunity. Let’s attack together! At this point, we have no other option other than to fight!" the pale commander ordered, refusing to back down. He knew they couldn’t run away now, it was useless.

The remaining few experts and grandmasters charged forward, their energy blades blazing in the underwater gloom.

Cale responded with a devastating display of power. A blinding golden energy blast erupted from his maw, instantly incinerating a portion of the enemy squad.

"Oh no, get out of the wa-!" a soldier screamed right before he was vaporized. Cale then unleashed a series of brutal physical attacks, his newly enhanced strength shattering the remaining enemies’ defenses.

His massive claws tore through the water, leaving a trail of destruction in their wake. "After enhancement, the defense and attack power of my body have increased several times," Cale realized, his human form panting heavily in his inner consciousness.

’I’ve already started using additional life force, all I can hope is I have at least 60 years left.’

"What kind of monster has our Clan sought to fight..." the pale commander observed, a hint of awe and fear in his voice. The battle had turned into a slaughter.
