Villain Seduces to Rise in Status

Chapter 83 - A Losing Fight [1]

"...I shall join your clan then! That should resolve this, right? I’ll help you conquer this continent."

Though he despised the notion, joining their family temporarily seemed preferable to getting killed by all of them jumping on him. A few years of working as a warrior under their name, beats dying here.

Wang Yunfeng scoffed, his expression contemptuous. "And why should we babysit you, kid? Yes, you’re a promising seed, but such talents emerge every now and then anyways. You possess no real value to us... except perhaps as a corpse."

’Sigh, that didn’t work, huh...’

No negotiation was possible now. His only option was confrontation—find a crack in their formations and escape through sheer force.

He walked forward deliberately, his white robes fluttering dramatically.

"I guess I don’t have much choice then... phew..."

He knew, that there was roughly a fifty-percent chance his father’s spies were still monitoring him.

Yes—ever since breaking through to Peak Master Stage, he has occasionally sensed various presences around him. Faint soul signs he almost missed.

Without his crazy high soul potency, he would have missed them in normal cases.

But he only now connected the pieces. His father had likely placed surveillance on him. But his father was not exactly a ’loving’ father who would put track on him to save him.

’But they’re not here to protect me, I guess. They’re measuring enemy strength through my situation. As expected, should I say.’

Taking a deep breath, he advanced another step and activated both his Chaos Domain and Nihility Domain simultaneously.

Noxis materialized, consumed by black flames. The eighteen flying blades crackled with electricity, each one humming with voltage.

Narrowing his eyes, he focused completely on Analyze, scanning desperately for the formations’ weaknesses.

’I’ll need to suppress them continuously with Curse and Will. Thank god I have three soul bodies—they can keep taking Qi Gathering Pills constantly to sustain my reserves.’

Though continuous pill consumption would damage his foundation eventually, just getting his ass out of here alive was the priority.

Thuds echoed across the battlefield.

The instant he activated his will and domains, cultivators at and below Advanced Stage collapsed, clutching their heads in agony. Veins erupted across their skin. Some literally foamed at the mouth, their minds shattered by the pressure.

Wang Yunfeng’s eyes narrowed dangerously. ’Such a powerful domain. What opportunity did this child grasp to acquire such ability? We need to eliminate these kinds of threats before they become truly problematic, heh. Several families have already been captured. We cannot afford to lose our foundation we’ve built for the past few years.’

Cale spread his magnificent wings—one radiant white, one obsidian black—and launched skyward. He had to gain superior positioning in the air, especially with the Kunpeng bloodline granting him dominion over aerial and aquatic spaces.

"Come..." he called out, his voice low.

The battlefield transformed into chaos.

The dark, ominous clouds split apart as Cale unleashed his aura, summoning a blinding storm of power.

The glowing blades hovered in the air behind him, pulsating with a terrifying, fiery energy.

Jagged arcs of crimson lightning crackled around the weapons as they suddenly shot forward, streaking across the battlefield like meteors.

The opposing cultivators panicked, their formations crumbling instantly under the overwhelming barrage.

Ethereal flying swords were shattered and bodies were thrown through the air as the red lightning chained between them.

Without wasting any time, he started throwing tens of explosive talismans.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

Explosions of devastating crimson energy bloomed across the sky, sending dozens of enemies plummeting into the abyss.

Cale remained perfectly still amidst the carnage, his expression cold and indifferent.

’Damn... this is crazy. I’ve never fought these many enemies. And I’m anything but a tactician, choosing to fight head on like this.’

Well, if you can’t win against someone with strength,

Then you aren’t using enough strength!

Still, nearly 20% of his divine consciousness was still analyzing the formations.

A massive, apocalyptic dome of blades and roaring black fire expanded outward, consuming the battlefield in its path.

Those who thought they could withstand the impact were immediately swallowed by the blinding, destructive light.

"Arghh!"

"Wahhh! Save me!"

"I-I can’t use healing potions!!!"

Swords pierced through their bodies like bullets from a machine gun.

And those who survived were dealt by Cale who flew right behind the flying blades now.

’Heh, it protects me from incoming attacks too...’

Cale’s eyes suddenly glowed.

He formed a rapid hand seal, and chains erupted from void like holes in space, each trying to tie an enemy just for a few seconds. But that was enough.

Still, he hadn’t even started fighting with those of them above Master realm.

"They’re tiring me out huh" he looked at Wang Yunfeng, Wang Rou and wang Zetian detestably, all three standing on the cliff high above. "Fuckers at least lead your troops.."

He couldn’t possibly absorb all the souls here, but he could use his domain and soul severance to absorb every remnant soul or slightly weaker or damaged souls to help increase his spiritual energy reserves for now.

’That’s good too I guess...’

High above the jagged, mist-shrouded peaks Wang Yunfeng watched, as Cale hovered with the grace of a descending immortal. He gave a sign to the array makers below.

Cale’s head snapped, sensing another new ’object’ in the battlefield.

’Shit! What are they doing now?!’

A breathtaking array of golden energy flared behind him, spreading wide like the radiant wings of a god.

Far below, a legion of masked cultivators in emerald robes frantically channeled their spiritual power, desperate to bring the soaring monster down.

Their combined energy violently coalesced into a colossal, shrieking skull of green phantom fire.

With a deafening roar, the monstrous skull spat massive numbers of icy-blue energy swords that tore through the heavens, aiming straight for Cale’s heart. Yet, the white-robed cultivator didn’t even flinch, his expression remaining indifferent.

"This is what I call high-tier fights now, heh.."

Raising a single hand, Cale released a concentrated, blinding beam of Chaos Flames.

The radiant black flames met the massive blue blades mid-air, instantly shattering the enemy’s ultimate attack into a harmless shower of glowing dust.

His eyes darkened, flashing with a sudden, predatory smile as he calculated his next move.
