Chapter 220: Earth
Alex remained silent for a long time after learning that the Angel of Creation had hidden one of his greatest weapons inside the universe where Alex had once lived.
His gaze became distant as countless memories surfaced in his mind. The streets where he had grown up, the orphanage where he had spent his childhood, and the miserable life he had left behind all flashed before his eyes.
"System, tell me everything you know about Earth’s universe."
The system remained silent for a brief moment before its familiar voice echoed inside his mind.
[Ding! The Earth is located inside a universe that is constantly evolving. Unlike ordinary universes, it has no true upper limit. Every era gives birth to stronger laws, stronger civilizations, and stronger lifeforms.]
[I believe this universe is a fragment of a much greater Grand Timeline. That is most likely why the Progenitor selected a soul from there and why the Angel of Creation chose to hide his weapon inside that universe.]
Alex narrowed his eyes.
"So even that universe is far from ordinary..."
The system continued.
[One more warning.]
[According to my current database, the strongest known existences within that universe are the Ten Absolute Reality Grade Supreme Creatures.]
[Each of them stands at the pinnacle of that evolving universe. Even though your current strength is extraordinary, you should proceed with caution.]
Alex slowly nodded.
"I understand."
If even the system warned him to be careful, then that universe undoubtedly hid secrets beyond imagination.
...
Alex left the cultivation chamber and walked toward the palace.
The principal immediately stood up upon seeing him.
"Alex."
Alex smiled faintly before speaking.
"I will be entering seclusion for a long time. No matter what happens, please do not disturb me."
The principal immediately bowed.
"As you wish."
Alex did not say anything else and entered his training room again.
With a wave of his hand, an identical copy of himself appeared beside him.
The avatar possessed the same appearance, aura, and even the same cultivation fluctuations as the original. Unless someone far stronger than Alex inspected it personally, nobody would notice the difference.
After making sure everything was arranged properly, Alex stepped into the spatial portal.
The portal silently closed behind him.
...
An unknown amount of time later...
Alex slowly emerged from the endless dimensional tunnel.
The first thing that entered his vision was an enormous spiral galaxy shining brilliantly in the endless darkness.
The Milky Way.
His home galaxy.
Alex quietly floated outside its boundaries while staring at the familiar sea of stars.
Although he had only lived there for a few decades, those years had shaped the person he eventually became.
A trace of nostalgia appeared in his eyes.
His current cultivation had already reached the peak of Grade Three.
He was a genuine Megaversal-level existence.
With a single thought, he could erase the entire Milky Way Galaxy from existence without leaving behind even a single atom.
Compared to him, every civilization inside this galaxy was insignificant.
Just then...
Three enormous battleships emerged from hyperspace.
Their weapons immediately locked onto Alex.
A cold mechanical voice echoed across space.
"Unknown lifeform detected."
"You have illegally entered the territory of the Milky Way Galactic Empire."
"State your identity immediately."
"If you refuse to cooperate, you will be classified as an enemy of the Empire."
Alex looked toward the three warships before smiling faintly.
"So... humanity was really this advanced?"
His Divine Sense casually swept across the vessels.
The strongest cultivator aboard had only reached the Black Hole Realm.
To the countless civilizations of the galaxy, such experts were undoubtedly powerful.
To Alex...
They were no different from ants.
Without saying a single word, Alex casually took one step.
His figure disappeared.
The alarms inside the command ship exploded instantly.
"Warning!"
"Unknown spatial fluctuation detected!"
"Enemy has..."
The warning abruptly stopped.
Alex was already standing inside the command bridge.
Complete silence filled the room.
The commander stared at him with widened eyes.
None of the defensive formations had activated.
None of the scanners had detected his arrival.
It was as though this mysterious young man had simply appeared out of nowhere.
Every soldier instinctively froze.
Cold sweat poured down their backs.
Alex ignored everyone’s horrified expressions.
He calmly walked toward the commander before gently placing a hand on his forehead.
The commander’s body stiffened.
Countless streams of memories flowed directly into Alex’s consciousness.
Within moments, Alex had learned everything the commander knew.
The current structure of human civilization...
The rise of the Galactic Empire...
The cultivation system...
The technological development...
Even countless hidden secrets inaccessible to ordinary citizens.
After finishing, Alex withdrew his hand.
The commander collapsed onto one knee, breathing heavily as if his soul had nearly been torn apart.
Alex smiled slightly.
"Thank you."
With another wave of his hand, a brilliant crystal appeared before the commander.
It radiated an incomparably profound cosmic aura.
"This treasure should be enough for you to reach the Galactic Realm."
The commander stared blankly at the floating treasure.
Before anyone could react...
Alex had already vanished.
Not even a ripple remained behind.
For several long seconds, absolute silence dominated the command bridge.
Then the commander suddenly collapsed onto both knees.
His entire body trembled uncontrollably.
Large drops of sweat soaked his military uniform.
His breathing became rapid as endless fear overwhelmed his mind.
"That senior..."
His voice trembled violently.
"He is stronger... far stronger than the Supreme Protector of our Empire."
"We actually pointed our weapons at someone like him."
"If he had wished, every one of us would have disappeared without knowing how we died."
He looked at the cosmic treasure floating before him with disbelief.
"Instead... he rewarded me."
"What terrifying generosity..."
The soldiers remained speechless.
Each of them silently nodded.
Only now did they truly understand how close they had come to death.
...
Meanwhile...
Alex had already arrived near the Solar System.
His expression gradually became serious.
The moment his eyes landed upon the familiar planetary system, he noticed something abnormal.
The entire Solar System was surrounded by an unimaginably vast Cosmic Lock.
Endless divine chains extended throughout space, sealing every corner of the system.
Several tiny cracks had already appeared across the barrier.
Yet despite those cracks, the seal remained astonishingly stable.
Alex frowned slightly.
"A Cosmic Lock..."
"Why would something like this exist here?"
His Divine Sense carefully inspected the seal.
Although he possessed enough strength to destroy it instantly, he chose not to act recklessly.
Anything capable of sealing an entire solar system was certainly not ordinary.
Without understanding its origin, breaking it could trigger unpredictable consequences.
Alex stepped forward.
Instead of destroying the seal, he quietly passed through one of the existing cracks.
The Cosmic Lock did not react at all.
Moments later, he appeared inside the Solar System.
His first destination was the Sun.
The gigantic golden star continued burning endlessly, illuminating every planet just as it had done for billions of years.
Alex quietly observed it for several minutes.
Then he slowly raised one hand.
An endless ocean of pure cosmic energy poured from his palm.
The Sun greedily absorbed every strand of energy.
Hour after hour...
Alex continuously replenished the immense energy the Sun had consumed since the day it was born.
Exactly two hours later, he lowered his hand.
The Sun now shone even more brilliantly than before.
Alex nodded with satisfaction.
"This should last for a very long time."
His figure disappeared once again.
...
A few moments later...
Alex appeared within a small, impoverished town in the United States.
This place...
Had once been his home. He slowly walked through the familiar streets.
Many buildings had changed. The roads had become wider.
Even the atmosphere felt completely different. There were cosmic energy in the air.
"What is going on?", he muttered while walking.
Finally...
He arrived before the place where his orphanage had once stood.
Alex stopped walking.
His expression slowly froze.
The old orphanage was gone.
In its place stood a magnificent five-story building built from black stone.
A giant plaque hung above its entrance.
Black Moon Martial Hall.
A terrifying killing intent erupted from Alex’s body.
The surrounding space itself began trembling.
Fortunately, he quickly suppressed it before anyone noticed or else the planet might have been destroyed.
He calmly walked toward the entrance. Two guards immediately blocked his path.
One of them spoke coldly.
"Who are you? Outsiders are not allowed inside. State your purpose for visiting the Black Moon Martial Hall."
Alex did not answer.
Instead, his eyes quietly met the guard’s.
The next instant...
He effortlessly extracted all of the guard’s memories.
After several seconds, Alex slowly withdrew his spiritual sense.
A strange expression appeared on his face.
"So... time flows differently here."
Hundreds of years had passed in his life.
Yet only fifty years had passed on Earth.
Forty years ago, Spirit Energy had suddenly awakened across the planet.
Ancient martial arts resurfaced.
Hidden cultivation families emerged from seclusion.
Within only a few decades, they had become the true rulers of the world.
Technology still existed, but martial artists now stood above ordinary humans.
Alex continued searching through the guard’s memories.
Soon...
He discovered the identity of the owner of this martial hall.
His eyes narrowed.
"Oh..."
"So it was you."
The founder of the Black Moon Martial Hall...
The woman who had demolished the orphanage...
The person who now owned this entire place...
Was none other than Kate.
His little sister.
The very same sister whose betrayal had ultimately sent him toward transmigration.
She was no longer an ordinary girl.
She had become one of Earth’s strongest experts.
Grade Five Warrior.
Martial King Kate Windsor.
A cold smile slowly appeared on Alex’s face. His eyes contained neither anger nor hatred.
Only endless indifference.
"I really should thank you, little sister."
"If you had not killed me that day..."
"I would never have reached where I stand today."
He looked toward the towering martial hall.
"I will come to see you very soon."
