My Infinite Cultivation System

Chapter 124: Earth is a prime planet

Alex lowered his hand slowly, and the telekinetic domain faded like a withdrawn decree. He stepped forward, and the ground beneath him stabilized as if the planet itself welcomed his arrival and aligned to support his presence.

The surviving enemies trembled instinctively.

The dark creature that had spoken earlier remained alive, though barely. Its body was shattered, and fear filled its hollow eyes as it stared at Alex with visible disbelief.

"W what are you..."

Alex looked at it calmly, his blue eyes carrying a quiet finality.

"I am the one who will decide whether you exist."

The creature attempted to flee, forcing its broken body to move.

Alex’s gaze tightened slightly, and the space around the creature folded inward instantly, crushing it into nothingness without sound.

Noah, Arthur, and Julius stood motionless, their minds struggling to reconcile the reality before them. The battlefield that had been seconds away from annihilation had been overturned in a single move, and the scale of that reversal left them speechless.

Alex turned toward them.

"I am late," he said quietly.

For a moment, no one moved, as if the world itself required time to accept what had just occurred. The surviving earthlings stared at the sky where two hundred planetary powerhouses had vanished as though erased from history. The battlefield that had been drenched in despair moments earlier now felt unreal, like a nightmare that had shattered without warning.

Then someone laughed, the sound weak and disbelieving, yet undeniably real. A wounded soldier dropped to his knees, tears streaming down his face as the weight of survival finally reached him.

"We are alive..."

Another human shouted, his voice breaking with emotion as hope surged uncontrollably. "It is him. It is Alex. He came back."

Cheers erupted across the battlefield, spreading like a wave that washed away lingering fear. Some warriors raised their weapons toward the sky, others collapsed in relief, and many simply stared at Alex as though witnessing a miracle. The despair that had suffocated them moments earlier dissolved, replaced by overwhelming hope.

"Hahaha... we are saved."

"That is our messiah."

"I knew he wouldn’t abandon us."

Even Noah exhaled slowly as tension left his body, while Arthur wiped blood from his lips and gave a tired grin. Julius lowered his trembling hands, the pressure he had been holding finally released. All three of them had prepared to die, yet the outcome had reversed in an instant.

To them, Alex’s arrival felt less like reinforcement and more like the descent of a messiah.

However, the remaining enemies reacted very differently.

Fear spread through their ranks like poison. Dragons stepped back instinctively, vampires lost their composure, and even titans hesitated. Their gazes remained locked on Alex, and none of them dared to advance.

One of the dark creatures spoke, its voice trembling.

"That monster is here... how?"

Another creature’s distorted face twisted in disbelief. "Did he not enter the inheritance tower? He should not have returned yet."

The dragon general clenched his fists, unease flickering across his expression as he stared at Alex. "Impossible. The intelligence clearly stated that he was inside the tower. No one exits that place so quickly."

The dark creatures retreated another step, their confidence collapsing rapidly.

"Something is wrong," one of them whispered, unable to hide the fear in its voice. "This human... he is far stronger than before."

Across the battlefield, the atmosphere shifted completely. The humans gathered behind Alex with renewed courage, their earlier despair replaced by determination, while the invading armies felt an unfamiliar sensation creeping into their hearts, a cold and undeniable realization that the balance of power had reversed.

Alex snapped his fingers once.

The sound was minimal, but the effect was absolute.

Every human on the battlefield vanished instantly from their positions. There was no displacement in physical terms. Instead, space itself restructured their coordinates and relocated them to a secure zone far from the battlefield. No harm reached them during the transition.

The battlefield reset into a clearer structure.

On one side remained the invading forces. On the other side stood Alex, floating calmly in midair, positioned exactly between both groups. His presence created a natural boundary that neither side could ignore.

The opposing forces numbered approximately two hundred thousand. There were no low level monsters among them. Every individual belonged to a structured race classification. Ancient humans stood alongside vampires, werewolves, phoenix lineage beings, dragons, and additional dark entities whose energy signatures felt unstable even from a distance.

Alex activated his analysis interface.

A data window appeared in his perception.

[Name: Gui Ho(Devil)

Rank: Early Commander(Planetary tier)

Origin: Dark dimension

Status: Immortal type entity

Note: These beings were not native to this world. They had been summoned through ancient rituals conducted by the early human civilizations of this planet. Their immortality was not symbolic. Even if their physical forms were destroyed, they would regenerate within the dark dimension and return over time.]

Alex absorbed the data and stored it internally.

A quiet thought formed in his mind.

The dark dimension would require investigation. Sage Merlin likely had knowledge that could clarify its structure and its connection to this world.

His focus shifted back to the opposing armies.

Alex spoke in a controlled tone that carried clearly across the battlefield.

"The trial is over. The space restriction is gone. Why are you still attacking humans?"

His question was not emotional. It was procedural. He wanted to understand whether their actions were based on outdated conditions or deliberate continuation.

Among the enemy forces, a vampire prince stepped forward slightly. His expression showed genuine confusion rather than immediate hostility.

"The trial is over?" he asked. "How is that possible?"

Alex remained still. The reaction was consistent with expectations. Large scale trials often ended without immediate notification reaching all participants. Delays in perception were common in systems involving multiple races and layered spatial rules.

"Yes," Alex replied. "It is over. The surviving humans remain. The trial condition has been fulfilled. This planet is now a legitimate member of the cosmic human classification. There is no remaining justification for continued conflict."

For a moment, silence spread across the battlefield.

Then the silence broke.

Multiple members of the opposing forces began laughing. The sound was uneven at first, then grew louder and more unstable. It carried a tone that mixed disbelief with amusement.

A dragon general stepped forward, his wings partially extended.

"This is ideal," the dragon said. "If the trial has ended, then higher authorities will now be able to descend without restriction. This planet is not something that should remain under the control of weak humans."

Alex’s eyes narrowed slightly.

He turned his head a fraction.

"Rafael," he said internally. "Do you have information on this situation."

A response formed directly in his consciousness.

Rafael replied,

[Initial assessment confirms partial unknown variables. Standard planetary trial outcomes do not produce structural amplification of planetary value. However, this world deviates from baseline conditions. Data suggests this planet predates the current universal cycle. It appears to be a residual formation from a previous universe.]

Alex processed the statement carefully.

His eyes widened slightly.

"That means this planet existed before the current universe."

Rafael continued.

[Correct. It is classified as a prime origin world. Such worlds often contain residual records or embedded structures from previous universal cycles. Multiple civilizations consider them high value strategic targets, even without full verification of their contents.]

Alex exhaled slowly.

He now understood the reaction of the opposing forces. Their behavior was not only based on conquest. It was driven by resource acquisition at a scale far beyond planetary occupation.

The dragon general spoke again.

"Even if you resist, forces beyond this battlefield will arrive. You cannot hide a world like this."

Alex looked at him directly.

A calm decision formed in his mind. He could end the situation by revealing his full identity or establishing authority through diplomatic control. However, neither option aligned with his current objective.

He preferred clarity through outcome rather than negotiation.

"Let them come," Alex said.

His voice was quiet but absolute.

A subtle pressure spread through the battlefield. It was not an attack yet, but it carried the implication of complete control.

The opposing forces reacted instinctively. Their instincts recognized danger at a level beyond comprehension, but they could not retreat due to spatial sealing conditions already embedded in the environment.

Alex lifted his hand once more.

"If you intend to continue this conflict," he said, "then I have no reason to allow your existence to continue."

The statement was followed by immediate execution.

The entire battlefield collapsed into a singular point of destruction.

Two hundred thousand entities disintegrated simultaneously into cosmic particles. There was no prolonged struggle. No resistance phase remained active long enough to register as meaningful combat. Space returned to neutrality as if the opposing forces had never existed.

A system notification appeared in Alex’s perception.

[Ding!Ultimate physique has reached level 50.]

A powerful surge moved through Alex’s body. It was not violent, but it was total. His internal structure adjusted to accommodate the new threshold, and his perception of surrounding space expanded further. Energy flow became clearer, and his control over spatial interaction increased significantly.

He remained suspended in midair without movement for several seconds, allowing the transition to stabilize.

Then he acted again.

Out of the remaining battlefield remnants, he selected three individuals from each race. His control was precise. Only specific life signatures were preserved while the rest had already been erased.

The selected survivors floated in place, restrained by invisible spatial pressure.

Alex studied them silently, already preparing the next phase of interrogation and analysis.
