Yang Chuxia looked at her sons beside her, both little guys had curiosity in their eyes, and she hesitated. Would it be okay to stay? The children were young, and if they didn’t know any better and offended him, it could be disastrous.
"What are you worried about, Ye Family’s Ye Zi’an? I don’t eat people." Seeing that she remained standing without letting go, the Emperor spoke again.

Yang Chuxia went to the kitchen herself to supervise the food preparations. These were for the Emperor to eat, and she had to personally check them, as if something were to happen to His Majesty at the Ye Family, it would be a crime implicating the nine familial exterminations.
As for Dongyang, he went to rest in the guest room.
Ye Zi’an and Mu Shaoling then headed to the study in the front building.
"What’s going on?" Once they reached the front building, Ye Zi’an asked, "Why has he come?"
"Who am I supposed to ask if you ask me? Don’t you know why he’s here?" Mu Shaoling looked at him with puzzlement. Were he and the Emperor so close? Close enough to let the Emperor come all this way personally?
Even his Mu Residence had only had the Emperor visit once, and that had been during his own wedding.

Seeing that he didn’t seem to be lying, Mu Shaoling became a bit curious. What exactly was this important person here for?
While he was pondering, so was Ye Zi’an, but neither had any clue.
However, the very important person they were guessing about was currently lounging in a chair, playing with the two little ones, while also thinking to himself that those two fools must be wondering why he had come here. Hmph, just to torment them with curiosity.

"Your dad told me."

The Emperor blinked, his gaze sweeping back and forth over the two little guys, and saw Lele break out in sweat.

Lele gave Yangyang a warning look and then let him go.
