My Wife is a Hidden Big Shot

Chapter 482 - 444: The Grand Finale (Part 6)

Soon, a logbook appeared on the screen, like a system message log in an online game, recording everything that had happened in the Trial Dimension.

Under the Space Administrator’s guidance, Aurora Sinclair filtered for the information she wanted.

It turned out that Tristan Winslow had obtained The Myriad Machina Lock, a device from a Level One Civilization, within the Trial Dimension. He had used it to trap the three Martial Gods, thereby altering their access privileges.

However, Wargod Harrow had acquired a Directional Sound Transmission device, made by a Fourth-level Civilization, and used it to send a message to a kinsman across dimensions.

Aurora Sinclair thought for a moment and asked, "If someone finds a way to open The Myriad Machina Lock, will their privileges change?"

"They will."

"Can I permanently keep them from getting out?"

"Yes, the Son of God must personally modify the spatial privileges. Son of God, do you wish to permanently revoke the entry and exit privileges of Quentin Harrow, Levi Lowell, and the Half-Beast Chieftain, Hulien?"

Aurora Sinclair considered it but didn’t make a decision. "Besides trapping them, are there any devices in this dimension that can restrict their actions in the outside world?"

"Yes. The Son of God must reach the Martial God Level to explore and find them on their own."

Aurora Sinclair: ...

"How can I become a Martial God?"

"The Son of God must enter the Trial Dimension and pass the Divine Trial to become a Martial God."

Aurora Sinclair immediately recalled what Elias Lennox had told her before he died and asked, "What is the Divine Trial?"

A "DING—" sound was heard.

The screen before her changed again, suddenly displaying footage of Jasper Winslow and several unfamiliar old men breaking through to the Martial God level.

Heaps of white bones created a horrifying sight.

Jasper Winslow sat in a relatively clean spot, enduring rays of light that descended from the sky.

His clothes were tattered, leaving him nearly naked.

His powerful, well-built body was covered in wounds.

His skin was split open, and he was drenched in blood.

This was the physique of a Quasi-god, yet it was being savaged like this by rays of light that resembled bolts of lightning.

Aurora Sinclair couldn’t bear to watch. "What is that light? Is he going to be okay?"

The Administrator replied, "Level one cosmic energy rays. His body is currently evolving."

’Cosmic energy? Rays? Evolving?’

Aurora Sinclair was baffled by these words.

She had thought it was some special kind of heavenly lightning, just like the bolts that had struck her when she broke through to the Great Martial Venerable realm.

"What is level one cosmic energy? What is body evolution?"

"Level one cosmic energy is a common energy substance found on planets of Level One Civilizations, used for the growth and application of life forms on those planets. Body evolution is a physical transformation that The Humans must undergo in the process of becoming Gods..."

She knew about Level One Civilizations. Alvin Morgan had once explained to her the seven-level hypothesis of cosmic civilizations, but this was still too inconceivable.

It seemed Alvin Morgan was right; this ring was indeed the product of some advanced civilization.

Aurora Sinclair slowly processed the information, then continued to ask, "How many levels of civilization are there in the universe, and what level of civilization are you a product of?"

"I’m sorry, your Level is too low. You do not have the privilege to access this information."

Aurora Sinclair was stunned for a moment. She hadn’t expected such an answer.

She pursed her lips and continued, "What Level do I need to reach to access it?"

"I’m sorry, your Level is too low. You do not have the privilege to access this information."

Aurora Sinclair: ...

’This administrator is as dumb as Morgan’s Ditto.’

Next, Aurora Sinclair asked many more questions. As long as they didn’t involve cosmic civilizations, it gave accurate answers for the most part.

Aurora Sinclair took the opportunity to learn more about the Trial Dimension.

This Trial Dimension of the Son of God was like a series of map instances in an online game, categorized by level. Each Level corresponded to a different instance, and only people of that Level could enter.

Hector Lennox and Jasper Winslow were in the Quasi-God Level Trial Dimension, while the other four Martial Gods were in the Martial God Level Trial Dimension.

The two dimensions existed independently, and one could not cross over into the other.

In other words, Hector Lennox had to become a Martial God to be able to save Wargod Harrow.

Additionally, every Quasi-god who entered the Trial Dimension would automatically receive a Space Ring, which was used to enter and exit the Trial Dimension corresponding to their Level.

The ring would unlock privileges for different Trial Dimensions as their strength increased.

As for the Divine Trial, there was one in every Level of the Trial Dimension.

Whenever a trial-taker felt they were ready, they could go to the location of the Divine Trial and activate it.

However, activating it required Star Stone Energy each time. If the energy was insufficient, the Divine Trial would automatically shut down until it absorbed new Star Stone Energy.

That was why the previous Quasi-gods could be stuck here for a lifetime without ever having the chance to become a Martial God.

This also explained why there were so many bleached bones surrounding Jasper Winslow.

"How do I get out?" Aurora Sinclair suddenly asked.

As soon as she spoke, a new door appeared on the wall behind her, bearing the four large words, "Portal to the Outside."

Aurora Sinclair quickly turned, took two steps forward, and before opening the door, asked worriedly, "If I leave, can I come back in here again?"

The Administrator replied, "The Son of God, having bound the Ring of Divine Son’s Training, can enter and exit here at will."

Aurora Sinclair finally relaxed and opened the ’Portal to the Outside’ door.

After another flash of white light, she appeared on the summit of The Holy Mountain. She even saw Alvin Morgan fall in front of her, crying out her name in anguish.

"Morgan..." Aurora Sinclair looked at him in surprise.

Alvin Morgan froze for a second, then quickly got up and pulled her into a tight embrace.

His heart was pounding, a frighteningly fast THUMP THUMP THUMP, and his grip was so strong it was as if he was afraid she would disappear.

"I’m okay..." Aurora Sinclair patted his back and comforted him in a low voice.

After a long moment, Alvin Morgan finally let her go and looked her up and down. "Did you enter The Hidden Realm?"

"I did."

"How did you get out so quickly?" Alvin Morgan asked in surprise.

It was as if Aurora had come out the moment she went in.

Aurora Sinclair was taken aback and asked with equal surprise, "How long was I in there?"

"The blink of an eye."

This time, Aurora Sinclair was truly stunned. She had clearly been inside for at least half an hour.

She immediately looked at her ring. ’I’ll have to ask about that next time I go in.’

"Aurora, why did the stone stele suddenly disappear after you went in?"

Alvin Morgan’s brows were tightly furrowed. He stared at the empty space in front of them, his mind racing. He desperately wanted to explain the phenomenon with science, but he found that what had just happened was somewhat beyond the scope of his knowledge.

’Could it be spatial transference?’

Aurora Sinclair raised her hand to show Alvin Morgan her ring and said calmly,

"I’ve bound the Ring of Divine Son’s Training, and my strength has reached the Quasi-God Realm, so the unowned spatial entrance has now closed. If they want to enter or exit again, they must have my permission."

Alvin Morgan: ...

Even with his usual composure, he couldn’t help but feel the urge to use Beta Morgan’s catchphrase.

Alvin Morgan looked at Aurora Sinclair with a complicated expression.

He raised his hand, stroked her hair, and teased, "Aurora, you could conquer the whole world now."

But Aurora Sinclair shook her head, a trace of hesitation on her face. "Morgan, Martial Gods might not be human anymore."

Alvin Morgan’s hand froze, and the smile on his face gradually faded.

"What do you mean?"

Aurora Sinclair thought for a long time, as if trying to organize her words to explain an extremely complex matter clearly.

"The Divine Trial requires a Quasi-god’s body to endure irradiation from a type of cosmic energy. I saw Jasper Winslow’s body being constantly destroyed and restored by those energy rays. It was like his bones and flesh were being completely reformed..."

As Aurora Sinclair spoke, Alvin Morgan’s brows knitted tighter and tighter, and his expression grew increasingly grim.

After pondering for a long time, he asked,

"Can I enter that dimension now?"

"No, the minimum requirement to enter the dimension is to reach the Quasi-God Realm. Besides, there are many restrictions inside that I don’t have the privilege to know about at my current Quasi-God Level."

Alvin Morgan fell into deep thought once again...

’Could this ring have some other special meaning?’

Seeing his somber expression, Aurora Sinclair mentioned something to cheer him up.

"Oh, right, Morgan. I now have the authority to control who enters and exits the Trial Dimension. Those three Martial Gods can be trapped in there forever and never get out..."
