Chen Beiguo had no patience for her. "Gathering pig feed is a voluntary task. If your family has enough work points to get by, you’re welcome to gather pig feed too."

"So, do you want to gather pig feed?" Chen Beiguo asked, holding up his notebook as if he was ready to write her name down the second she agreed.

Chen Shulan’s face turned green.

Her family had two children and an elder to support. She only earned six or seven work points a day, and her husband only managed seven or eight. If she switched to gathering pig feed, their kids would go hungry.

Chen Shulan stomped her foot resentfully. "Team Leader, isn’t this blatant favoritism?"
