Divorce, Please: The Young Master Does Not Love Me

Chapter 589 - 587: Like

"And then what?"

Ian Shaw scoffed, "What else? When we woke up the next morning, that guy Cassian Jennings was gone."

"Gone? Did you guys look for him? This is a big deal, why didn’t any of you tell me?"

"Why look? He’s a grown man, what could possibly happen to him? Besides, you just got married. None of us wanted to bother you with this. Don’t worry. He’s a man in his thirties, he’ll be fine."

After he spoke, the smile on Ian Shaw’s face stiffened a little. Even though he’d said all that, he wasn’t convinced himself.

’The women I probably hate most in this world are Amelia Avery and Mika Summers.’

’No particular reason, except that they’re the most trouble and have made my brothers’ lives so miserable.’

’My brothers are such a good catch; they could have any woman they want. But no, they just had to get hung up on those two.’

’With cautionary tales like Tristan Grayson and Cassian Jennings,’ he thought, ’I never want to fall for a woman in my life. In fact, it’s impossible for me to ever fall for anyone.’

After getting his answers, Tristan Grayson left. Ian Shaw leaned back on the sofa alone, quietly sipping fine wine.

Once he’d had about enough to drink, he got up and headed for the door.

The moment he stepped out of the suite, he was hit by the sound of explosive music. He raised his hands, swaying lightly, his head starting to bob along with the beat.

’This is the kind of life people like us should be living.’

Some of the women in the main hall had already noticed Ian Shaw’s arrival, and a couple of them were already running toward him.

Ian Shaw welcomed all comers, draping his arms over the women’s shoulders and squinting at the dancers still on stage.

Two of the women up there were ones Ian Shaw often "played games" with in his suite. So, when they saw him, they started throwing seductive glances his way with all their might.

The smile on Ian Shaw’s lips deepened.

"Oh, Shaw, you’re so bad," another woman purred, taking the opportunity to sidle up to Ian Shaw and whisper with feigned coyness.

"Hahahaha, am I now?" With her this close, it was a clear invitation for him to take advantage. Ian Shaw saw right through it, clear as day, but he played along.

He deliberately kept the women guessing, the smile on his lips growing more wicked and arrogant.

Seeing this, the other women weren’t about to just stand by quietly.

One after another, they started moving toward Ian Shaw.

Ian Shaw welcomed them all, a woman on each arm, reveling in the attention.

The women who hadn’t gotten to him first were shooting daggers at the ones by his side.

Ignoring the public setting, one of the women raised an eyebrow and said with a smile, "Shaw, why don’t we go back to the room and play?"

"Mm," Ian Shaw agreed, the smile in his eyes not fading. He nodded, grabbed the woman by the hand, and started walking toward the suite they had just left.

The moment they were in the hallway, Ian Shaw couldn’t hold back any longer. He reached out and pushed the woman against the wall.

Just as Ian Shaw was about to lower his head, a man’s voice suddenly cut in. "Miss Joyce, it’s getting late. Would you like me to see you home?"

"I drove here myself, so I won’t trouble you, President Kane."

"How could it be a bother? It would be my honor to see you home, Miss Joyce."
