Divorce, Please: The Young Master Does Not Love Me

Chapter 251: Sending Back

The next morning, bright and early.

People from the court arrived to seize the villa, the cars, and everything else.

Una Sullivan had never witnessed a situation like this before and fainted on the spot.

In an instant, the Summers household descended into chaos.

The two children were wailing, while Joseph Summers carried his wife to the main road to hail a taxi. But the area was remote, and there was hardly any traffic so early in the morning.

In the end, Mika Summers had no choice but to call Jasmine and ask her to come pick them up.

Jasmine Warren had stuffed all the luggage into the car and was just about to start the engine to take them to the hospital when Mika suddenly realized Eleanor Bishop wasn’t in the car yet.

She handed the child to Jasmine, jumped out of the car, and ran to find Eleanor. When she reached the villa’s entrance, she saw Eleanor standing there woodenly, holding Rory.

She suppressed all her anxiety and urgency, her voice a complex mix of emotions, yet tinged with a cold hardness. "You’re not planning on coming with us?"

"Mika, I’m sorry. I can’t go with you. My parents are coming to take me home soon," Eleanor Bishop said, biting her lip and shaking her head.

’Take her home? At a time like this, she’s actually going home?’ "What about Rory? Rory is my brother’s daughter..."

"Mika, you see the situation we’re in. Our family has nothing left. If Rory and I stay with you, where will we live? What will we eat?" She didn’t want to go back to the Bishop family, either. She didn’t want to face her mother, who was constantly in tears, or watch her father suffer through sleepless nights. She had really liked living with the Summers family; at least here, she had felt at ease. But now they didn’t even have a place to live. How could she possibly stay?

"My brother will be fine. When he comes back and sees that you and Rory are gone, can you imagine how devastated he’ll be?"

"Mika, I’m sorry. When your brother comes back, I’ll bring Rory back, too."

"Fine... I respect your decision..." Mika gave a self-deprecating laugh, her voice cold as she finished speaking, then turned and walked away.

Una Sullivan had only fainted from the shock, so she slowly came to not long after the car started moving.

From the moment she woke up, she began to cry, and she couldn’t stop. There was no way to contact Archie, and now her daughter-in-law and granddaughter had gone back to their family.

"Mika, don’t take me to the hospital. I’m not going to the hospital. I’m not going anywhere. I won’t go anywhere until I see my son come back safe and sound."

Mika hugged Kiki tightly and said with conviction, "Mom, my brother will be fine. Jasmine, pull over at the next intersection."

"Okay."

After the car stopped, Mika took a key from her bag and handed it to Joseph Summers in the back seat. "Dad, this is the key to our new place. Jasmine knows where it is."

"Mika, don’t worry. I’ll get Uncle and Aunt home safely."

"Okay. Thank you, Jasmine."

—Yiye Hotel—

As soon as Mika entered the hotel, a waiter led her to a VIP private room.

Caleb Grayson and Mae Lynch had arrived early. When they saw Mika walk in holding Kiki, Mae was the first to stand up and approach her. With a catch in her voice, she asked, "Mika, is this Kiki?"

"Yes..."

"Here, let me hold him." As she spoke, Mae Lynch took the child from Mika’s arms.

Mika held back her tears and said, her voice choked with emotion, "Mom, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to hide him from you."

"It’s okay, it’s okay. As long as my dear little grandson is all right, then everything is all right..." Mae Lynch also fought back tears. She was well aware of what her scoundrel of a son had done over the years. Now that Mika was willing to bring her precious grandson back, she was more grateful to Mika than anyone.

Mika walked up to Caleb Grayson and gave a deep bow. "Dad, about my brother’s situation... I’ll have to trouble you," she said sincerely.

"Mika, in the end, it was our Grayson family that wronged you. Even if you hadn’t given our family a child, as long as you asked, we would still do everything in our power to help."

"Thank you, Mom and Dad..."
