Pokemon: This Ash Is Too Versatile

After the news spread outside, various different versions quickly emerged.

The most widespread tale is that Ash and Cynthia first defeated Kleavor, and then used a medicine that calms the mind, restoring the King to normal.

Of course, this version is incorrect.

The real reason Kleavor regained its senses was that Ash used the Power of Viridian to cleanse the abnormal energy within it.

But ordinary people don't understand the Power of Viridian. Seeing that Irida and Lian treated Kleavor's injuries, they naturally attribute the Governor's success to those medicines.

If Arezu believes this rumor, it wouldn't be surprising for her to go alone to the Crimson Mirelands to find special medicine, feeling guilty for the injuries of the stationed members.

"Does Captain Adaman know Arezu's location now?"

Faced with Cynthia's inquiry, Adaman could only shake his head helplessly.

"I came back too late. People in the dining hall told me that Arezu bought a few servings of taro cakes not long ago, and then left Jubilife Village."

"The calming medicine needed by the Queen is different from other Pokemon. Some of the herbs can only be found in the Crimson Mirelands."

"If Arezu is really preparing to make the medicine herself, she probably has already returned to the Crimson Mirelands."

Adaman's judgment is just a guess, but whether Arezu wants to find medicine or plans to find Ash and Cynthia, she will eventually head to the Crimson Mirelands.

The problem is that the Crimson Mirelands are really vast.

Only knowing that Arezu entered the Crimson Mirelands, trying to find her among large swamps and woods is almost like finding a needle in a haystack.

"Doesn't the Diamond Clan have Flying Pokemon specifically for communication?"

Cynthia had some doubts in her heart.

Even the Ginkgo Guild has Flying Pokemon for messaging, so as one of the most powerful forces in the Hisui Region, the Diamond Clan can't possibly lack a method for communicating messages.

Upon hearing this question, Adaman showed a look of surprise instead.

"Where did you hear that Flying Pokemon can directly find the recipient in the wild?"

"The Diamond Clan does have Flying Pokemon designated for communication, but we don't like using Pokeballs, so most of those Pokemon live near various bases."

"People in the wild wanting to send messages to bases can let Flying Pokemon carry the letters back to familiar camps, but trying to set off from a base and have Flying Pokemon find a person without a specific location is almost impossible."

After all, there isn't a signal that humans and Pokemon can mutually sense.

Flying Pokemon can recognize familiar people, and remember frequently traveled routes, but with the Crimson Mirelands so vast and Arezu herself not knowing where she will go next, how could Flying Pokemon possibly find her out of thin air?

The Ginkgo Guild uses Flying Pokemon to send messages, mostly by having the merchants in the wild release Pokemon actively, letting them bring messages back to the station.

Getting Pokemon from the station to find a person whose location is unknown may not be more efficient than humans searching by themselves.

After listening, Cynthia realized the significant limitations of communication methods in this era.

The modern means of contacting others anytime is clearly a technology unimaginable a thousand years ago in the Hisui Region.

"In that case, let's go search for Arezu in the Crimson Mirelands."

Cynthia quickly made a decision and agreed with Adaman on the subsequent meeting plans.

"Whether we find her or not, we'll meet at the Wetland Base before dusk."

"Alright!"

Adaman agreed directly, then walked to the outside of the Team Galactic Building, raised his hand, and blew a loud whistle.

The crisp sound soared high.

Before long, a large Pidgeot quickly dove down from beneath the clouds, its broad wings creating a gust of wind, landing steadily beside Adaman.

This Pidgeot is the Flying ride that Adaman usually uses.
