Pokemon: This Ash Is Too Versatile

The power from the plate made his arm sink slightly.

The opponent clearly used considerable force when throwing it.

"Go!"

Charm shouted, and the Miss Fortunes simultaneously recalled their Pokemon, then threw a Smoke Ball onto the ground.

Bang!

Grayish-white smoke quickly dispersed.

By the time Ash waved his hand to clear the smoke in front of him, the trio had already escaped deep into the forest.

"They sure ran fast." Ash did not pursue them.

Their goal in coming here was only to retrieve the Plate Fragment, and there was no need to specifically capture the Miss Fortunes back to Team Galactic.

Cynthia took the fragment from Ash's hand and examined it closely.

"It should be the missing piece from the Solaceon Ruins."

"Thanks for just now."

"It's nothing." Ash smiled and patted his arm, "In this era, I'm the only one who can protect my sister."

Cynthia paused slightly with the Plate Fragment in her hand.

She looked at the natural smile on Ash's face, and her heart inexplicably quickened a bit.

Lately, she seemed to be getting more used to having Ash by her side.

Whenever danger arose, Ash would always stand in front of her at the first moment.

This reliance, whether it was good or bad, was something Cynthia herself couldn't clearly say.

"Sister? What's wrong?"

"Nothing."

Cynthia quickly averted her gaze.

"Let's head back to the Solaceon Ruins."

Ash took out the Celestica Flute and played the melody to summon Wyrdeer.

Wyrdeer quickly passed through the forest and arrived in front of the two of them.

Ash and Cynthia mounted Wyrdeer and swiftly returned to the Solaceon Ruins along the path they had taken earlier.

When they returned to the entrance of the ruins, Volo was sitting on a rock, looking up at the sky.

Hearing the commotion from Wyrdeer's running, he finally withdrew his gaze.

"Back already?" Volo stood up to greet them, "Could it be that my information was wrong and you didn't find the Miss Fortunes?"

From the Solaceon Ruins to the Wetland Base and back would normally take quite a bit of time.

But Ash and Cynthia's absence wasn't that long.

Volo didn't believe they could find the Miss Fortunes in such a short time, defeat them, and retrieve the fragment.

"Mr. Volo's information was very accurate."

Cynthia took out the Plate Fragment and waved it in front of Volo.

"We have already found the Miss Fortunes and retrieved the fragment."

Volo's smile briefly froze.

His gaze fell on the Plate Fragment, visibly surprised.

"In such a short time, you defeated the Miss Fortunes?"

"My sister handled it all by herself," Ash casually remarked from the side.

"Miss Cynthia's strength seems even more formidable than what I've heard," Volo quickly resumed smiling.

"Those three were just too weak." Cynthia didn't say much about this matter, "Mr. Volo, can you let us in first?"

"Of course."

Volo then realized he was standing right in the middle of the entrance and promptly stepped aside.

"Sorry, I was just a bit surprised."

"I hope you can successfully convince Warden Calaba."

Ash and Cynthia passed by Volo and walked along the passage into the ruins.

Volo stood outside the cave, watching their figures, and his smile gradually faded a bit.

Even though the Miss Fortunes weren't considered strong in the Hisui Region, they wouldn't be easily defeated by ordinary Trainers.

The fact that Cynthia could handle six Pokemon on her own indicated her hidden strength was far greater than what was outwardly shown.

These two who suddenly appeared in the Hisui Region were indeed quite interesting, perhaps... they really might be able to collect all the plates.
