With that meeting finished, Jax left Xara to her own devices, heading back to the Palace to complete some personal work.
It’d been a while since he’d done a lottery, and he’d racked up a-lot of tickets from his fun with Alexi, and also Serika and Sabrina, so he decided to do some lottery’s and see what he got after returning to the room.
Servants bowed as he passed, but none dared interrupt him. Jax walked through the long corridors at an unhurried pace, hands in his pockets, golden eyes calm yet thoughtful as he stepped into a private chamber deep within the palace, a room specifically designed for isolation and experimentation.
The walls were reinforced with layered magical barriers, and the air itself was saturated with controlled mana flow. Perfect for what he had in mind.
He exhaled once, rolling his shoulders slightly.
"...It’s been a while."
Then, he activated the system. A familiar interface unfolded before his vision.
Jax smirked faintly, "Let’s see what I get."
He began pulling.

Jax’s eyebrow twitched slightly.
"...Oh?"
That was already interesting.
But he didn’t stop.

Now his attention sharpened.

Made him pause.

Silence settled in the chamber.
Jax stood still for a moment, processing what he got and then slowly, a smirk spread across his face.
"...Not bad, not bad at all," Jax muttered, happy with what he received in his first lottery pulls after a long time.
"System."
At his call, the interface responded instantly.
"Explain the rewards."

Jax’s eyes gleamed slightly as he saw the words ’Space Law.’ Anyone who’d read a Novel or just understood Magic knew Space Magic was one of the premier types of magic, with immense power and flexibility.
With space magic in his back pocket, Jax would be a master of control.
Absolute control over distance, positioning, and dimensional boundaries. He already had powerful spatial abilities, and this rune would help refine and perfect them, pushing them towards something far more dangerous.

Jax let out a low chuckle.
"Arcane fundamentals, huh..."
That one was just as valuable. If Space Law gave him control over where
things existed... Arcane Law gave him mastery over how magic itself functioned. Together? They would evolve his magical control to a next level. If he was already unbeatable before, now he was basically a god.
The final reward.

Jax’s interest sharpened immediately.

Jax blinked once.

He leaned back slightly, crossing his arms as he processed it. A pool. A permanent construct, that passively strengthened anyone who used it, and the longer someone stayed in it, the greater the effect.
Jax exhaled slowly.
"...This is insane."
His mind immediately began running calculations. People trained in that environment would experience rapid growth in their strength. It was an incredible treasure that Jax needed to use to its full potential.
He’d pick and choose carefully who could enter the pool, giving opportunities for his closest allies.
It was a kingdom-level asset. Jax looked around the chamber, his golden eyes thoughtful.
"...Where to place it."
That was the real question. The location would determine its impact, and Jax decided to place it as close to possible to his home base. He’d make a special dimension near his room and place it there.
"...Yeah."
He already had ideas, but first, the runes.
Jax raised his hand slightly. Two faintly glowing symbols appeared in the air before him. One shimmered with a deep, endless distortion, like space folding in on itself.
This was the Space Law Rune.
The other pulsed with raw, structured energy, pure magic in its most refined form, showing that it was the Arcane Law Rune.
Jax looked at them both.
"...Let’s start with these."
Without hesitation, Jax reached out, and absorbed them. The moment they entered his body, reality twisted around him.
Space bent violently around him, the room distorting as if struggling to contain what was happening, mana surged and exploded throughout Jax as the Demon King’s eyes glowed intensely.
Information flooded his mind. Not knowledge learned, but knowledge completely understood. His understanding of space had advanced.
To him now, space wasn’t just distance anymore, it was structure, layered and flexible.
At the same time, magic itself unfolded before him. Every spell, every flow of mana and every inefficiency he had ever ignored were all corrected.
Jax clenched his hand slightly. The air around it warped from Jax’s control.
"...Damn."
His voice came out quieter than expected.
Not from weakness, but from focus. After a few moments, the surge settled and the room around him stabilized.
Jax exhaled slowly.
"...That’s a big upgrade."
A very big one.
His already overwhelming power had just taken another leap forward with refinement and improved efficiency.
Jax rolled his shoulders once, grounding himself.
Then his gaze shifted.
"...Now..."
The pool.
A faint smile spread across his lips.
"Let’s build something."
And with that, the Demon King began planning his next move.
