Summoned As A Mere Nobody-Yet Possesses An SSS-Rank Ability

Chapter 267: Soon Gathering

Nolan exhaled slowly, rubbing the side of his temple.

"Well… good. Let's hope it doesn't come to war," he said quietly.

King Zul gave a slow nod. "As long as the truth reaches them, they may restrain themselves. If not… then the consequences will be theirs to bear."

Nolan turned away. "Then it's settled."

King Zul watched him for a moment longer before turning toward the hall. "I should rest. These old bones have been through enough for one night."

With that, he walked off, his footsteps echoing down the stone corridor.

Nolan remained behind.

Then—

Ping.

A sharp, unfamiliar sensation flashed across his vision.

"What…?" Nolan muttered.

A translucent panel appeared before his eyes, glowing faintly with ancient runes and symbols.

[SYSTEM NOTICE — CHRONO AUTHORITY DETECTED]

[SYNCHRONIZING DATA…]

[TARGET: HEAVENLY BEASTS — STATUS: GATHERING]

Nolan frowned. "A system…?"

He rubbed his eyes, but the projection didn't vanish.

"This again…" he muttered. "I thought I was done with this."

Lines of unfamiliar text continued to scroll.

[ANCIENT LAVA SEAL — BREACH DETECTED]

[LOCATION: UNKNOWN]

[EVENT TYPE: DISCUSSION OF PRIMORDIAL AWAKENING]

[STATUS: REUNION REQUIRED — ALL HEAVENLY BEASTS SUMMONED]

The air shifted, and two familiar figures appeared behind him in flashes of light.

Lyra folded her arms, eyes sharp.

Damian stepped forward, his expression tense.

"Master," Lyra said. "We felt it too."

Damian nodded. "A signal. Strong. Ancient. The same frequency as us."

Nolan turned slowly. "You felt it as well?"

"Yes," Damian replied. "And not just us."

Lyra clenched her fist. "Other beings—beasts like us. Ancient ones. Some sealed, some lost. They're being called."

Lyra stiffened. Her ears twitched, her breathing slowed. Her eyes widened just slightly.

"This… this feeling…" she whispered. "I've felt it before… long ago."

Damian, however, went completely still.

The usual calm confidence on his face vanished.

His eyes narrowed—not in anger, but in realization.

"…So it's finally beginning," he muttered.

Nolan turned toward him. "Beginning? Beginning what?"

Damian didn't answer right away. He clenched his fist slowly, as if holding something down inside himself.

"This pressure… it's not demonic," he said. "And it's not divine either."

Nolan frowned. "Then what is it?"

Damian exhaled sharply.

"It's older than both."

Lyra swallowed. "The… the Primordial Awakening."

Nolan blinked. "Primordial… what?"

He looked between them, clearly confused.

"I don't get it. You're both acting like the world is about to end."

Damian finally looked at him.

"Because for some beings," he said quietly, "it might."

Nolan crossed his arms. "You're going to have to explain that."

Damian shook his head slowly. "You wouldn't understand yet. Not because you're weak—because you're not meant to."

Nolan frowned. "Not meant to?"

"The primordial beings existed before gods, before demons, before concepts like order or chaos," Damian continued. "They were sealed away long before history began. Their presence alone twists reality."

Lyra nodded. "They are not evil… but they are not good either. They exist beyond that."

This is the first time I'm hearing about what you're working on," Nolan said, frowning. "And I still don't understand this status box. It appeared after I defeated you, Damian, but since then… nothing. Does that mean it's only you and Lyra who see it?"

Damian shook his head. "No. You received the notification because you are already recognized as a deity. That doesn't mean this gathering is for you. This particular meeting… it's for Heavenly Beasts only. Beings like me, in my Divine Dragon form, and Lyra in her true Behemoth form."

Nolan raised an eyebrow. "So I don't go?"

"You won't attend this one," Damian said. "But you'll be involved later when the deities convene. This is just a preliminary gathering. It's to discuss the approaching danger—the weakening of seals placed long ago."

Nolan's gaze sharpened. "Seals? By whom?"

"The ancient gods were sealed by the Almighty Himself," Damian explained, voice heavy. "Gods and Archangels whose power once threatened the balance. Among them were Zachariah… and Zeus. Powerful beings, now bound, but their seals are starting to fail."

Lyra's voice joined, calm yet serious. "The Heavenly Beasts are called together first, to assess the situation and prepare. The deities' gathering will come after. This is why you don't need to attend—your role is already set for the next stage."

Nolan exhaled, rubbing his temple. "So the chaos isn't over. First the beasts… then the gods. And all because of these ancient seals breaking."

Damian's golden eyes gleamed. "Exactly. And when the deities meet, you will be among them. But for now… this is a gathering of those who walk between worlds, those with power beyond human comprehension, to gauge the threat and prepare."

Nolan nodded slowly. "Understood. I'll trust you to handle this first stage."

Nolan exhaled slowly, his gaze fixed ahead.

"So… these beings," he said, his voice calm but heavy with thought, "are they really that powerful? I've heard the name Zeus before—in my previous world. There, he was just a myth. A story. I never imagined he actually existed."

Damian crossed his arms, his expression grave.

"They exist. And not just him. Zeus is only one of many."

Nolan frowned. "I'm a Chrono God. I govern time itself. If I stop time… wouldn't that stop them too?"

Damian shook his head.

"No. It won't."

Nolan turned sharply toward him.

"They have already transcended time," Damian continued. "They are not bound by the flow you control. That's why they are dangerous. These beings—there are nearly fifty of them—were sealed long ago. Gods. Archangels. Primordial entities. And more will awaken."

Lyra stepped forward, her expression tense.

"The ones who were sealed weren't sealed by chance. They were sealed by the Almighty Himself. Even He feared what they could become if left unchecked."

Nolan's eyes narrowed. "So this gathering… this isn't about me."

"No," Damian said. "This gathering is for Heavenly Beasts. Beings like me… and Lyra in her true form. You're different. You're already something else."

Lyra nodded. "You're a deity now, Nolan. But this gathering isn't meant for deities. It's for those who stand between gods and mortals—those who guard the balance."

Nolan let out a slow breath. "Then this means…"

"The storm hasn't even begun yet," Damian finished. "When the deities gather… that's when the world will truly tremble."

Celia and Linda stepped forward, confusion clear on their faces.

"Master," Celia said softly, "we don't understand. What is really happening?"

Nolan glanced at them, then looked away.

"I'll explain everything later. Right now… it's not something you need to be part of."

Lyra stepped closer and suddenly wrapped her arms around him.

"I have to go," she said quietly. "The summons has already begun."

Nolan hesitated, then nodded. "Be careful."

She pulled back, smiling faintly. "I always am."

Then she leaned in and kissed his cheek before stepping away.

Damian bowed his head slightly.

"It's time. I'll see you again, Master."

With that, both Damian and Lyra vanished, their forms dissolving into streaks of light that vanished into the sky.

Nolan turned to face Linda and Celia, his expression serious but calm. The weight of the world seemed to press on his shoulders, yet his voice was steady.

"Listen carefully," Nolan began. "What's happening isn't simple. There's a gathering happening right now—for the Heavenly Beasts. These aren't just ordinary creatures—they're ancient, powerful beings, some of whom have existed since the world was first formed."

Linda tilted her head, eyes wide. "Heavenly Beasts… like Damian and Lyra?"

"Yes," Nolan said. "Damian in his true form is the Divine Dragon King. Lyra is a Behemoth. They are beings of immense power. The gathering is for them to meet, discuss, and prepare for something far bigger than anything we've faced before."

Celia frowned. "But… what does that mean for us? For you?"

Nolan took a deep breath. "It means the world is on the edge of change. These Beasts, these ancient powers, are linked to the sealed gods—primordial entities who were locked away long ago for being too dangerous. When they awaken, the balance of this world will shift. And that's when the deities themselves will have to come together."

Linda's eyes narrowed with determination. "So that's why you're so serious. This… isn't just another threat—it's the beginning of something massive."

Nolan nodded. "Exactly. You need to understand—this is bigger than any single fight, bigger than any tribe. And yes, I'm involved, but this gathering isn't for me. I'm not supposed to attend yet. Damian and Lyra are. They already understand what's coming. You two don't need to act yet, but I want you to understand the truth of what's happening. That's why I'm telling you."

Celia's face softened, but her gaze was firm. "We understand, Master. Whatever comes… we'll be ready."

Linda took Nolan's hand gently. "We trust you. We'll stay safe and be ready to follow your lead."

Nolan gave them a small, reassuring smile. "Good. That's all I needed to know—that you understand. Nothing can be done by chance. You have to stay alert, but don't worry too much. Right now, just focus on being safe."
