The one who had just fired the beam to interrupt that dagger was the Demon Contractor trailing behind Sylutia. He too stared at the sight in disbelief, then looked up as layer upon layer of pale-blue arrays rose into the sky, slowly opening and rotating.
"You don't know what the Sect Leader is activating?" Sylutia asked, tilting her head.
"Sorry, Lady Arrival, I don't know." He bowed his head in shame. Even as a core member of the sect, he still didn't understand many of its secrets.
This battlefield had already become an extremely dangerous zone. Frenzied Alien Star and Dead Embers energies wandered about.
