I Steal the Ancestors' Sacrifices to Nourish Myself

Chapter 726 293: True Dragon Divine Form, Kui Ox Race!

This island is entirely made of useless minerals.

These scenes were observed by Shen Can after he transformed into dragon form and quietly submerged in the water.

He didn't recklessly venture into the core area of the Dragon Race; he just observed the periphery briefly and then quietly retreated.

To him, this scene didn't seem like exile at all.

But this was just his wishful thinking; in the eyes of the Black Dragon, this majestic palace and the patrolling Dragon Guard might simply be trash.

"Those are the bones of my race, now used as toys by the Dragon Race."

Kui Spirit muttered softly, having no other thoughts—seeing a compatriot for the first time in years, only to find it was a skeleton.

Shen Can comforted Kui Spirit; it wasn't just Kui Bones—it was littered with various bones here.

He only circled a small part of the periphery and saw several races enslaved by the Dragon Race, but he didn't see the Human Race.

Yet this wasn't a happy matter; the surviving races lived because they were still useful.

Those eliminated races were simply wiped out.

"Let's go find the Kui Ox."

Seeing the Kui Ox bones at least confirmed that the Kui Ox Race indeed lived here.

Next, Shen Can continued in his dragon form, which made things much more convenient; encountering Water Race made them tremble at his sight.

On his journey, he inquired along the way; naturally, all the Water Race he asked ended up in his Witch Pouch after answering.

There was no other choice; if they weren't put into the Witch Pouch and left alive, they could easily reveal Shen Can's whereabouts.

...

A vast expanse of white wetland stretched as far as the eye could see.

Within the wetland, many beasts were treading on water; among them, many had prominent horns and scales, with scales sprouting from their heads. Their roars echoed like the bellowing of oxen.

In the Great Wilderness, the ancestors of all Kui Ox bloodlines were born with a single horn, moving like they were leaping; each step they took would be like a cataclysm.

The subsequent descendants of Kui Ox seldom inherited the bloodline of the single-footed Kui Ox.

At present, this group of Kui Ox descendants was treading on water; though they possessed part of the Kui Ox bloodline, it was rather thin.

Roar! Roar! Moo!

A roar echoed through the wetland, as wild beasts with Kui Ox bloodline galloped and surged through the waters.

Seeing so many wild beasts with Kui Ox bloodline appear, Kui Spirit could no longer contain itself.

It sprang out of the Kui Drum, discarding its Human Race child form, soared into the air, transforming into a single-footed Kui Ox, about ten feet in size, and began to howl.

Roar!

Despite its immature voice, the beast silhouettes in the wetland, upon hearing Kui Spirit's roar, each trembled in their blood.

The sound of 'thump' 'thump' echoed as beasts toppled into the water, whimpering in panic.

Roar!

Soon after, a roar resounded from deep within the waters, lifting a boundless mist above, forming a tidal wave.

Rumble!

As the water tide formed, a violent roaring sound shook the Great Marsh, with waves surging first, forming a water wall that cascaded from afar.

Amidst the roar of immense waves, a torrent surged from the distant waters.

Thud thud thud!

Beast silhouettes jumped high into the air, descending quickly, shaking the earth and mountains with each landing, as waves surged around them.

The leading figure, as large as a mountain, with legs as thick as pillars, stood like a column bearing a mountain range.

Roar!

Kui Spirit roared again.

Rumble!

The mountain-sized Kui Ox landed from the air, crashing down more than ten miles in front of Kui Spirit.

Completely dark, its scales radiating light, its eyes as deep as pools with an ancient aura, it instantly took in both Kui Spirit and Shen Can.

Excitedly bouncing mid-air, Kui Spirit, though without flesh, timidly wanted to approach the massive Kui Ox.

The great Kui Ox glanced at Kui Spirit, a wave of indescribable emotion passing in its eyes.

Then, it turned to look at Shen Can.

"Eight thousand years... I thought the ancient pact had long been destroyed!"
