Unrivaled Soldier in the City

Chapter 474 - : Massacre in All Directions

Lin Kuang held the Witch in his arms, the Nameless Sword in his right hand quivering as he pushed the Willow Catkin Technique to its absolute limit.

At that moment, Lin Kuang moved like a shadow, his figure flashing past in an instant. In that split second, the wrists of the dozen or so Pei Family members were pierced through. Their long sabers clattered to the ground as anguished cries erupted.

Pei Qiuhai was stunned by the sight. Lin Kuang’s movements couldn’t just be described as "fast"—they were blindingly swift, reaching a speed that even Pei Qiuhai himself could not match.

What in the world is happening? Where did he learn the Willow Catkin Technique? And how can he execute it to this degree? How can he be so fast?! Pei Qiuhai roared inwardly. The speed was almost unbelievable, and his shock quickly turned to fury.

At that moment, Lin Kuang had no time to care about Pei Qiuhai’s expression. He struck once again.

His speed remained just as swift, the Nameless Sword in his hand thrusting out repeatedly. The dense sword shadows seemed to merge into a mountain of blades, a terrifying sight to behold.

"Ah!"

A scream rang out as the throat of one of the Pei Family disciples was pierced through. Where there was one, a second soon followed. In a brief moment, the throats of all dozen disciples were run through.

In the blink of an eye, all of them were dead. Lin Kuang stood with his sword at the ready, the Nameless Sword gleaming with a cold light. Blood dripped continuously from the blade, giving it an eerie aura.

This was only possible because Lin Kuang could endlessly absorb the Force of Nature from the air to strengthen himself and replenish his spent True Qi. Otherwise, he would never have dared to use such a technique, as the full-force execution consumed a massive amount of True Qi. Expending that much would have been a great disadvantage, especially with five or six people still left on Pei Qiuhai’s side.

Seeing Lin Kuang effortlessly slay more than a dozen of the Pei Family’s elite disciples, Pei Qiuhai’s expression instantly became incredibly grim, even ferocious.

"Lin Kuang, you killed our Pei Family’s men!" Pei Qiuhai roared, killing intent surging in his eyes.

"They were trying to kill me, so naturally, I killed them. Was I supposed to just stand here and let them?" Lin Kuang said indifferently. The Nameless Sword in his hand vibrated with a low hum, its tip aimed at the space between Pei Qiuhai’s eyebrows.

"Good. Good. Very good, Lin Kuang. You’ve done well!" Pei Qiuhai said through gritted teeth as he drew a long saber from his back. The saber’s blade gleamed, faintly radiating a chilling aura. It was clearly no ordinary weapon.

"Come then. I will kill you myself!" Pei Qiuhai suppressed his rage, his tone icy to the extreme.

"Witch, get on my back and hold on tight," Lin Kuang said, glancing at the Witch beside him.

Hearing this, the Witch nodded hurriedly, climbing onto Lin Kuang’s back and clinging to his neck.

"Pei Qiuhai, today, not a single one of you will leave this place alive!" Lin Kuang roared furiously.

The next moment, he activated the Willow Catkin Technique. Lin Kuang’s speed reached its peak as his Nameless Sword slashed fiercely toward Pei Qiuhai’s head.

Seeing this, Pei Qiuhai didn’t dare to be careless. He moved rapidly to the side, swinging his long saber toward Lin Kuang’s waist.

Lin Kuang snorted coldly, his arm dropping swiftly to slash at Pei Qiuhai’s wrist.

Pei Qiuhai’s expression changed slightly. Lin Kuang’s reaction was fast, which proved his combat experience was clearly extensive. But Pei Qiuhai was a master himself; how could he let Lin Kuang sever his wrist so easily?

Just then, with a flick of his wrist, Pei Qiuhai dodged the Nameless Sword and redirected his own saber to slash at Lin Kuang’s wrist.

Lin Kuang’s expression remained calm. He didn’t retreat but instead quickly drew his arm back, dodging the long saber. At the same time, the Nameless Sword swept out horizontally, slashing toward Pei Qiuhai’s neck.

Pei Qiuhai’s gaze locked on. He tucked his head in, instantly dodging the Nameless Sword, and then thrust his own saber out, aiming for Lin Kuang’s heart.

Lin Kuang’s body suddenly shifted to the side, causing the saber to miss. The Nameless Sword in his hand danced, chopping down toward Pei Qiuhai’s head. With no other choice, Pei Qiuhai could only lean back, dodging the blow.

However, before Pei Qiuhai could launch a counterattack, the Nameless Sword came at him again, slashing horizontally at his neck. Unable to dodge in time, Pei Qiuhai had no choice but to raise his saber vertically to block the strike head-on.

CLANG!

The piercing sound of metal on metal rang out as the sword and saber collided. Sparks flew, and a notch appeared on Pei Qiuhai’s long saber. Although his weapon was a treasured blade, it was still far inferior to the Nameless Sword. A pang of distress flashed in Pei Qiuhai’s eyes as he saw the damage to the treasured saber that had been with him for years.

However, this was no time for distress. Lin Kuang was already kicking fiercely at his abdomen.

Seeing this, Pei Qiuhai didn’t dodge and kicked out in response. Just as their feet were about to collide, Lin Kuang let out a low growl. "The Du Gate, open!"

In an instant, Lin Kuang’s already formidable strength surged tremendously.

Feeling this explosion of power, Pei Qiuhai’s face changed drastically, his eyes filling with dread. It was already too late for him to dodge. Gritting his teeth, he channeled all his strength into his right foot and met Lin Kuang’s left foot head-on.

BANG!

Their feet slammed into each other. The impact was like two bulls colliding, letting out a thunderous boom. Pei Qiuhai was sent flying backward, his right foot completely ruined!

As he flew through the air, his face turned deathly pale, his eyes filled with unwillingness. Blood stained the corners of his mouth, and he looked utterly disheveled.

The instant Pei Qiuhai was sent flying, Lin Kuang pressed forward, pushing his speed to the absolute limit and catching up to him in a flash. Simultaneously, Lin Kuang thrust his sword, stabbing fiercely at Pei Qiuhai’s heart.

At the sight of this, the unwillingness in Pei Qiuhai’s eyes turned to raw terror. He was scared witless, knowing this strike from Lin Kuang would undoubtedly kill him.

"No!" he screamed.

But why would Lin Kuang listen?

Without hesitation, Lin Kuang thrust the Nameless Sword forward, piercing straight through Pei Qiuhai’s heart. Blood flowed continuously from the corners of Pei Qiuhai’s mouth, his gaze filled with terror. He couldn’t believe he was dying just like that. But he was, and nothing could change that fact.

"This is your retribution!"

Lin Kuang pulled the sword free and kicked Pei Qiuhai’s body away.
