Ning Xuan looked at the Teleportation Array not far away and asked with confusion, "This Teleportation Array doesn't just connect to the major cities, does it? Why are only the two of you guarding it?"

Qiu Hao glanced at Ning Xuan, then spoke in a strange tone, "That's because you are too strong. In fact, there's only one person stationed at the other locations. Ning Xuan nodded. He understood now. It wasn't that Qiu Hao was weak, but that his own Cultivation Technique, Bloodline, and other attributes were simply incomparable. The Demon Shadow Illusions that could affect other top-tier Holy Realm experts were utterly ineffective against him.

"What is your mission this time? How can you be so certain that experts from other Star Realms will come here?" Ning Xuan asked again. This was the crux of the issue.

"This..." Qiu Hao's expression changed, and he showed a rare hesitation.

Suddenly, Ning Xuan let out a thunderous roar and struck. Yet he was still too late to prevent the sudden assassination!

Qiu Hao was silenced.

Ning Xuan's expression changed drastically. Without a second thought, he rushed into one of the Teleportation Arrays.

The attack struck Ning Xuan squarely in the back. And yet, he still managed to escape!

Inside the teleportation channel, Ning Xuan spat out a mouthful of blood as the Dao Mark smashed down behind him! The channel behind him not only exploded, but the Teleportation Array on the outside shattered as well.

Outside the Teleportation Array, the hunchbacked elder who had launched the attack wore a look of utter disbelief.

"Elder Tuo, what happened?!" Fang Hao's voice rang out.

"Young Master, I was going to wait for you, but that fellow unexpectedly destroyed the Teleportation Array..." the hunchbacked elder immediately bowed, his eyes still filled with shock.

Even a supreme expert of the Holy Realm wouldn't have escaped unscathed from that strike! Yet Ning Xuan still had the strength to retaliate and destroy the Teleportation Array. This was simply inconceivable.

"It's fine. It's not like the Teleportation Array is the only way for us to travel," Fang Hao said, glancing at the destroyed array without much concern.

The hunchbacked elder, however, hesitated to speak.

A sinking feeling struck Fang Hao's heart as he was seized by a terrible premonition. He quickly asked, "Which Realm did he go to?"

"Go... Gouchen."

Fang Hao's vision went dark.

The hunchbacked elder hurriedly said, "Young Master, he probably doesn't know the secret."

"No! We can't take that risk! Especially since he went to the Gouchen Realm!"

"Yes. But it's impossible for him to contact the Jiang Family immediately upon entering Gouchen. We still have time."

"Right, right, right! There's still time, there's still time!" Fang Hao muttered, pacing back and forth as he pondered their next move.

Soon, the master and servant duo disposed of Qiu Hao's body and departed in a hurry.

Not long after they left, Zang Peng appeared. His face darkened as he looked at the demolished Teleportation Array.

"You bastard, you've really done it now!" Zang Peng was fuming.

He had followed Ning Xuan's earlier advice, only to witness a massive battle. He had even been planning to come back and give Ning Xuan some trouble. But after Fang Hao and his servant emerged victorious, it turned out they shared the same destination as him. The two were terrifyingly strong; after all, they had counter-killed several members of the True Servant Society who had ganged up on them. Although they were both injured, Zang Peng didn't dare be careless and could only follow from a great distance.

And now this. He could only gaze at the ruins and sigh.

"The Gouchen Realm... Forget it. I'd better go and ask around to see if there's another way."

Suddenly, his vision went dark as a terrifying explosion roared in his ears. He had passed through the barrier.

What came into view was an azure planet. Upon seeing it, Ning Xuan felt an inexplicable sense of familiarity. It looked so much like Earth!

As he plunged into the atmosphere, Ning Xuan spread his arms wide and closed his eyes. He truly hoped that when he opened them, he would see a world of steel and concrete, of skyscrapers piercing the clouds.

But he was soon disappointed, even without opening his eyes. The energy on this planet was simply too dense! This was definitely something Earth could not possess.

Well then. The wish to return to Earth has fallen through!

Ning Xuan's expectations for this planet suddenly vanished. But what happened next left him completely dumbfounded.

Sensing that he was getting closer to the ground, Ning Xuan abruptly opened his eyes. After regaining control of his body, he plummeted downward.

Suddenly, a dark shadow shot straight toward him!

Ning Xuan saw a massive crowd gathered below, packed several layers deep. Seeing them all looking up at him, he immediately changed his intended strike into a grab, because he realized the object flying toward him posed no threat.

He caught it just as he landed.

Seeing a masked woman on an Embroidery Pavilion staring intently at him, Ning Xuan's mind stirred, and he immediately said, "Miss, here..."

As he was about to throw the object back, he subconsciously glanced down at it.

That one look made his stomach churn.

Damn it! He was holding a red embroidered ball!

Looking back at the woman's Embroidery Pavilion, he saw huge characters written on a sign: Marriage by Embroidered Ball!

Oh come on, could this be any more absurd! Ning Xuan's face turned green.

"Uh, sorry, I didn't do it on purpose. Please, carry on!"

Ning Xuan tossed the embroidered ball back. Then he ran off so fast he vanished without a trace.

Atop the Embroidery Pavilion, the woman held the embroidered ball, staring blankly into the distance.

"Qing Rou, that was an accident. Throw it again," a deep voice said from inside.
