Damn it! I just want to stick my neck out and get eliminated. Is that guy toxic or something?! Can’t you just follow the crowd like everyone else before you? Why do you have to stand out and be different?!

Ning Xuan was absolutely fuming.

"Hey, can you show us some respect?!" a voice suddenly rang out from the front.

Ning Xuan turned his head to see a fist stopped about seven or eight inches from his face.

"What do you mean?" Ning Xuan asked, puzzled. If you want to fight, then just fight! Why are you wasting your breath?

"Didn’t you hear them announce the start of the match?! Several people were about to attack you, but they all gave up because you were spacing out! What, are you too good for us? Can’t you show your opponents a little respect?!" the man repeated himself. He was clearly a righteous man who championed the underdog.

"You’re right, my bad," Ning Xuan immediately whispered. "Why don’t you just punch me? Just... try to avoid the face, okay?"

Who knew the guy was so single-minded. He righteously refused, "What kind of person do you take me, Liu Teng, for?! Come on, show me what you’ve really got! Let’s have a proper fight!"

Ning Xuan had no choice but to change tactics. "See that girl over there in men’s clothes? She actually likes me, but her family forbids it..."

Before Ning Xuan could finish, Liu Teng scoffed, "Are you nuts? That’s the Mingzhu of the Gouchen Jiang Family. You think she’d like you?!"

With that, Liu Teng turned and left to find another opponent.

Ning Xuan stared at the melee on the platform, completely dumbfounded. What is going on? Are the contestants this honorable now? They’re not even taking advantage of an opening? This can’t be right!

Ning Xuan immediately grew angry and roared, "Stop!"

The others simultaneously stopped fighting and turned to look at him.

"I’m a living, breathing person standing right here! Do you all think I’m invisible? Or are you just scared of me?!"

The crowd exchanged glances before pointedly ignoring him and resuming their previous bouts.

That guy is definitely out of his mind, was the collective thought. Better to stay away.

Just then, BAM! A contestant was sent flying by an opponent, landing not far in front of Ning Xuan with his back to him. The man spat out a mouthful of fresh blood, staggering on his feet.

"Off you go!"

As his words fell, the injured contestant was sent flying off the dueling platform.

Below the stage, the crowd erupted into chaos over Ning Xuan’s actions. Meanwhile, on the dueling platform, his stunt had finally angered the other contestants. In an instant, he became the target of numerous hostile gazes.

Ning Xuan, however, looked pleased. This should do it. I’m about to get mobbed!

However, Jiang Chan’s voice suddenly reached him. "The emperor is taking this Star Domain Convention very seriously. If anyone dares to go easy on the dueling platform, the Envoy will very likely execute them! Be careful you aren’t made into an example to warn the others."

Ning Xuan subconsciously glanced toward Tu Jingcheng. Just as she’d said, the man’s expression was placid, but a murderous glint flickered in his eyes. Ning Xuan’s mood instantly soured. Tu Jingcheng’s power is absolutely terrifying. More importantly, it’s not worth getting on his bad side right now.

Looking at his opponent, Ning Xuan shook his head and sighed.

"I never thought you’d be such a despicable person! I can’t let you remain!" Liu Teng, who couldn’t stand injustice, was the first to explode with rage and charged forward.

But Ning Xuan had already vanished. Liu Teng felt his body seize up, and before he could even react, he was soaring through the air, flying right off the dueling platform! He tried to gather his energy to get back on, but he was falling too fast. His feet hit the ground. Just like that, he was eliminated before he even knew what happened.

Liu Teng was utterly dumbfounded, then rage swelled within him. But he couldn’t vent it, because he saw one person after another being thrown off the dueling platform just like he had been, all by the same guy!

Shrieks of alarm rang out from the women below.
