Chapter 305: Healing [ 2 ]
I rolled my eyes and scoffed. "If you have so much energy to talk shit, you’re better off going there yourself, you know?"
Then, he pointed at my dimensional ring and added:
Mhm.
With those words, I gave him the ingredients he asked for, and then backed off. He didn’t seem too happy about my inability to get what he wanted, but then again, I wasn’t his slave.
Despite that, I wasn’t in a very vengeful mood at the moment, as instead, I was more curious about the process of what he was about to do.
Afterwards, he stuck a few catheters into her veins and, to top it all off, began brewing the purified radish by the side, turning it into some sort of liquid that resembled a healing potion.
Not to mention, a faint trace of energy was expelled from her body. It was Divine Energy, and since I was nearby, I managed to absorb it just by being near it.
By the time all of the liquid was gone, absorbed into Aliyah’s body, Adam finally finished brewing. He stood up, and with the blood-red potion in hand, he went ahead and poured it directly into her throat.
I helped out, pushing the liquid down Aliyah’s throat and manually making sure every crevice in her body was covered in it. Once it reached her stomach, the liquid fully dissolved, and the left-over energy began spreading throughout all her body automatically, almost like he didn’t need to help in the first place.
Everything except her eyes, which for some reason had some form of energy blocking them from ever being regenerated. I looked a little closer, and right as I was about to try something, Adam stepped in, putting his hand in front of my face and blocking me.
I raised a brow. "You do know there’s something blocking her eyes from growing back, right?"
Mm...
"..."
I let out a sigh in understanding, realizing that the only reason he was doing this was because he didn’t want her to regenerate.
It was simply because he wanted her to stay here longer. In fact, he wanted her to stay away from fighting altogether.
"In that case, I take it I won’t need to do anything else here, will I?"
I raised a brow. "If you want, I can steal someone’s house and bring it to you instead."
"W-Well... I suppose that’s doable. I know a few abandoned locations, so just get me a house from one of them. I’ll owe you one."
"..."
So since I wanted these people, including Eric, to have a place to sleep today, the least I could do was give them a house.
"I’ll be right back then."
