At Long Yifei’s command, the members of the Xing and Wei Families immediately drew their weapons and charged at Ye Xiu. However, the other members of the Thirteen External Families did not budge an inch.

"What’s this about?" Ye Xiu, not fully understanding but sensing the danger, lifted his leg and kicked an oncoming Wei Family member in the face, shouting, "Long Yifei, what is the meaning of this?"

Long Yifei ignored Ye Xiu, glaring instead at the members of the Thirteen External Families. "I ordered you to take down Ye Liangchen," he scolded. "Are your ears stuffed with donkey fur?"

Tang Bo shrugged. "Xing Ming hasn’t returned with evidence yet. You can’t prove that Ye Liangchen killed Wei Renwei and Wei Taining or crippled Wei Chuyang."

Nangong Yue smiled charmingly. "If Xing Ming truly brings back evidence of Ye Liangchen’s murders, then we will certainly obey your command."

"You... all of you..." Long Yifei was furious. He grew anxious as he watched Ye Xiu send the men from the Xing and Wei Families flying.

The Wei Family’s three masters above the War God level had already been killed by Jiang Linglong, and Xing Ming had taken the Xing Family’s own masters of that level with him. The members of the Wei and Xing Families currently attacking Ye Xiu were all just War Gods; they were no match for him.

Just then, someone announced, "Xing Ming is back."
