After hearing the Bloodthirsty Bat’s words, Long Chen and the others looked toward Wind Thunder Canyon. Even though they were still some distance away, they could feel the intense oppressive force emanating from within, weighing heavily upon them.

The Bloodthirsty Bat warned Long Chen, "The danger contained within Wind Thunder Canyon is much greater than that of the Second Layer, Master. Once you enter the canyon, you must all be extra cautious."

"Understood," Long Chen nodded slightly, then turned to look at Long Xin, Chu Lingjun, and the others. "Are you all ready to go in?"

Lei Shishi and the others responded, "We’re ready at any time."

"In that case, let’s go."

With that, Long Chen led the group toward Wind Thunder Canyon. As they approached, a powerful whirlwind swept toward them head-on. Seeing this, they hurriedly conjured a Defensive Barrier to fend it off. It was thanks to this timely defense that they weren’t swept away by the cyclone.

For a time, the group dodged these whirlwinds as they headed straight into the canyon. As they proceeded, they noticed one or two bodies lying on the ground.

Long Chen stepped forward to examine them. He discovered they had died from being pierced by sharp weapons, and with signs of a struggle nearby, it was clearly the result of foul play. Just then, he noticed that one of the corpses was clutching something tightly in its hand.

Upon seeing this, Long Chen reached out, and a powerful suction force pulled the object from the corpse’s palm.

He opened his hand to reveal a crystal glittering with silver light. The moment it landed in his palm, he felt the Power of Wind and Thunder radiating from within it.

Long Chen looked at the Bloodthirsty Bat and asked, "Is this a Wind Thunder Crystal?"

Hearing this, the Bloodthirsty Bat immediately flew before Long Chen. After glancing at the Wind Thunder Crystal in his hand, it nodded. "That’s right! This is a Wind Thunder Crystal!" it confirmed. "Judging by the scene here, they probably fought and died over it."

Long Chen nodded. "It seems those who entered Wind Thunder Canyon before us are already fighting to the death to collect Wind Thunder Crystals."

"Let’s go in too," he continued. "We’ll stick together and try not to get separated. This place is fraught with danger, and we need to be able to watch each other’s backs."

A worried look appeared on Long Xin’s pretty face. "So many people have already entered, and they all arrived before us. I’m afraid all the Wind Thunder Crystals inside have already been snatched up. Won’t we be too late if we go in now? We might not even catch a glimpse of one."

It immediately said to the group, "Master, follow me."

With that, the Bloodthirsty Bat flew off in a specific direction. Long Chen and the others exchanged a look and immediately followed without a second thought.

Soon, the Bloodthirsty Bat led them to a relatively narrow ridge. They surveyed their surroundings but found nothing but the mountain itself.

Long Chen wasn’t anxious. Instead, he asked the Bloodthirsty Bat, "Why did you bring us here?"

The Bloodthirsty Bat responded, "Master, I just sensed many Wind Thunder Crystals in this location."

Hearing this, Tang Le and the others were taken aback. They scrutinized their surroundings carefully but still found nothing.

Tang Le fixed his gaze on the Bloodthirsty Bat. "There’s clearly nothing here. You’re not playing tricks on us, are you, bat?"

"Go!" he commanded, forming a sword seal with his fingers to directly control the blade.

The Blackwind Sword spiraled fiercely in the air, drilling straight into the mountain wall!

Instantly, sparks flew everywhere. Under the Blackwind Sword’s powerful assault, a cave was torn open in the rock face.

Seeing this, Chu Lingjun, Long Xin, and the others also began to act on Long Chen’s instructions.

In a short while, they had carved out a tunnel twenty meters deep. The group entered the new cave, searching for any sign of the Wind Crystal Stones as they went.

"We’ve already dug twenty meters deep and still haven’t seen any Wind Crystal Stones. Are your senses really that accurate?" Tang Le demanded, his gaze fixed piercingly on the Bloodthirsty Bat.
