Fortunately, Long Chen possessed the Divine Demon Eye. Even though the Bloodthirsty Bat was incredibly fast, he could still track its movements clearly. Long Chen didn’t engage it directly. Instead, he dodged to the side, attempting to evade the attack. To his surprise, however, even as he dodged, the Bloodthirsty Bat did the unexpected and instantly teleported behind him.

The bat swung its claw directly at him. Seeing this, Long Chen’s heart lurched. He hadn’t expected the Bloodthirsty Bat to be so cunning. With no time to think, he could only hurriedly raise his Blackwind Sword to defend himself.

BANG!

Long Chen was sent flying, the qi and blood in his body churning violently. His face turned deathly pale as he spat out a mouthful of fresh blood. Before Long Chen could even recover, the Bloodthirsty Bat was upon him again.

It let out a burst of mad laughter.

"Trash!"

"Worthless!"

"Ant!"

With each word, the Bloodthirsty Bat launched another powerful attack at Long Chen.

Facing the bat’s onslaught, Long Chen struggled to hold his ground; its strength was simply overwhelming. He could do nothing but parry, getting knocked back with every blow. He was now completely suppressed.

The Bloodthirsty Bat slammed a fist into Long Chen’s chest. The powerful impact sent him flying backward, and he crashed heavily onto the ground, once again spitting up a mouthful of blood. Before Long Chen could regain his senses, the bat was upon him once more.

The Bloodthirsty Bat violently flapped its wings, slashing one directly at Long Chen!

SLICE!

A deep gash was instantly cut into Long Chen’s arm, and blood splattered everywhere. Long Chen felt himself weaken considerably. Seizing the opportunity, the Bloodthirsty Bat sank its fangs into Long Chen’s arm and began to greedily drink his blood.

"Long Chen!"

Witnessing this, both Long Xin’s and Chu Lingjun’s hearts leaped into their throats. They desperately wanted to help Long Chen, but the swarming bats were too difficult to handle, forcing them to watch helplessly as the Bloodthirsty Bat fed on his blood. Deep concern was etched onto both of their faces.

Long Chen felt a sharp, agonizing pain as his physical condition deteriorated rapidly.

Just as he prepared to activate the Divine Demon Secret Technique, Dragon Blood Boiling, to forcefully elevate his Realm and fight the bat to the death, the Bloodthirsty Bat’s expression suddenly twisted in horror, as if it had been struck by an inner demon.

The Bloodthirsty Bat felt its body burn as a tremendously powerful force rampaged through its veins, causing several bloody holes to erupt across its skin. Blood gushed from the wounds. The creature reeled from the unbearable agony.

Long Chen seized the opportunity to recover his bearings. He stared at the Bloodthirsty Bat in astonishment. What just happened? Why was it suddenly injured?

Terror filled the Bloodthirsty Bat’s face as it stared wide-eyed at Long Chen. It had never imagined that simply drinking his blood would cause such grievous internal injuries. The explosive reaction was because it couldn’t withstand the overwhelming power contained within. Fortunately, it had stopped drinking in time. Otherwise, its body wouldn’t have just been ruptured; it would have exploded to death!

This power stemmed from bloodline suppression!

The other bats naturally noticed their leader’s condition and were all stunned. How did our leader suddenly get injured? What’s going on?

The Bloodthirsty Bat’s face was a mask of utter disbelief. He stared at Long Chen and demanded in a deep voice, "You... Who in the world are you?"

By this point, Long Chen had already consumed the Healing Pills. His physical condition had recovered significantly, and color was returning to his pale face. Seizing the advantage while the Bloodthirsty Bat was severely injured, Long Chen attacked without hesitation.

Seeing this, the Bloodthirsty Bat’s mouth twitched. He was still reeling from the severe internal injuries and hadn’t yet recovered his senses, so Long Chen’s sudden assault caught him completely off guard. He hastily thrust out his sharp claws.

CLANG!!

The claws and the Blackwind Sword collided, emitting a piercing sound.

Long Chen let out a low shout and unleashed his full strength, channeling the terrifying Power of Thunder through his blade as he struck down at the Bloodthirsty Bat!

Already severely injured, the Bloodthirsty Bat was no match for Long Chen. He couldn’t even block the strike and was instantly overpowered. Losing his balance, he was sent flying once more. But Long Chen didn’t stop, relentlessly pursuing the bat. With an indifferent expression, Long Chen unleashed another wave of Sword Qi at his foe.

The Bloodthirsty Bat had no strength left to defend himself. He was terrified as he saw the Sword Qi sweeping toward him. He wanted to flee, but it was too late.

SWISH!

The Sword Qi sliced clean through the Bloodthirsty Bat’s arm. Blood sprayed into the air as the limb was instantly severed!

The bat collapsed to the ground, his body once again sinking into a state of extreme weakness. As he watched his severed arm fall beside him, a cold sweat broke out on his forehead. He had never imagined he would be driven into such a corner by Long Chen. Fortunately, he had dodged just enough that the last strike hadn’t been fatal.

Suddenly, a shadow flashed before his eyes. A jolt of alarm shot through the Bloodthirsty Bat. He quickly tried to get up, but Long Chen slammed a foot down hard on his chest.

PTOO!

The Bloodthirsty Bat let out a wretched cry, coughing up another mouthful of blood. Enraged, his face turned ashen. He struggled fiercely, but Long Chen’s foot pinned him to the ground, rendering him immobile.

Long Chen stared down at the Bloodthirsty Bat and said coldly, "Tell your bats to stand down."

"Bastard! Let me go!" the Bloodthirsty Bat roared, refusing to comply.

"Noisy."

Too lazy to waste words, Long Chen simply brought his foot down again, snapping the Bloodthirsty Bat’s other arm.

The Bloodthirsty Bat let out a bloodcurdling scream. He could feel the dense killing intent rolling off Long Chen, and his heart sank into despair. He had no choice but to emit a series of pulses, issuing a command to the other bats.

Upon receiving the order, the other bats immediately ceased their attacks.

Seeing the miserable state of their leader, the rest of the bats were completely dumbfounded. They never imagined that their leader would be pinned under the foot of a mere boy.
