Chapter 878: Chapter 583: The Origin of Li Pu
This time, what came out of the spatial gates were still Purgatory Skeletons and Kelp Death Beasts. But they were clearly stronger than the ones before.
The Purgatory Skeletons walking out of the Black Abyss Gate were all wearing armor and holding weapons, though both the armor and weapons looked tattered and shabby.
The Kelp Death Beasts coming out of the blue sea gate had bodies that were comparatively less shriveled, and there were waves of Magic energy rippling off them.
"So after it gets stronger, the things it summons get stronger too, huh."
Master Jie Jie could feel that the aura of the cocoon’s new minions had also reached 1st Turn level.
[Kuku-da!] xN
[Awoo-da!] xN
Those big-headed skeleton soldiers and big-headed death beasts squeezed out of the gates one after another.
They first looked around blankly, but as soon as they saw the cocoon, they bowed to it in salute.
It was just that skeletons and death beasts weren’t exactly sturdy to begin with; some of them had their heads fall off mid-bow and had to hurry after them to pick them up.
They chased and chased, failed to catch them, and then just died on the spot.
By this time, dark clouds had already begun gathering in the sky of the barrier, and muffled thunder was brewing.
And in that short span, the skeleton and death beast army had already amassed to a number of twenty or thirty.
Rumble—
[All units, launch the attack...!]
The cocoon only issued a single order to this army.
It didn’t believe that it or its skeletons and death beasts could survive the lightning tribulation, nor did it think this small number alone could defeat the Battle Turtle.
But just like Bie San, it had its own way of borrowing the power of the barrier.
And that was to draw lightning.
[Kuku-da!] xN
[Awoo-da!] xN
So that batch of skeletons and death beasts went charging toward the Battle Turtle like mad.
Boom!
Just as they scrambled up onto the turtle’s back, the first bolt of heavenly thunder came crashing down.
