Beneath the Red Dragon

The Naga and Elves were slightly surprised, this wine flowed with an incomparably pure Power of Life, a powerful energy contained within, comparable to certain magic potions, yet it was merely the wine consumed by these Giant Dragons.

"Please drink, everyone, this is the wine brewed with Water of Life, Devil’s Heart Essence, and Demon’s Blood by the Empire, possessing unparalleled Vital Energy."

"Even if a mortal drinks it and cannot absorb most of the energy, they can still extend their life by a year; this is the Dragon Group’s hospitality for guests from afar, no need to be formal!"

Antajena gently lifted her wine glass, toasting these guests.

The Naga and Elves could not refuse the Dragon King’s goodwill, they all raised their glasses to taste this rare wine, and the scene was momentarily plunged into silence.

The Naga Queen took a gentle sip of the wine, the intense energy blended into her body, slightly alleviating some hidden ailments within her.

She gently exhaled and softly asked, "I wonder if the Dragon Emperor of the Empire will attend this banquet. We should wait for the Emperor’s arrival, for Naga’s purpose here is to seek an audience with the Emperor to achieve a friendly alliance between the Empire and Naga."

The Naga Queen’s words also elicited a reaction from the Elves; the guests fixed their eyes on the Dragon King entrenched on the throne, awaiting a response.

"No need to worry, Karon is not a Dragon who values formality, he only values practicality," the Bronze Dragon Lord Alina drank the wine, her Dragon Language echoed in the hall, "We don’t need to wait rigidly like human nobility for him, and you don’t need to be restrained, he enjoys being straightforward."

The words of the Bronze Dragon Lord seemed to comfort these guests, yet also hinted at a warning, suggesting that when facing the Emperor of the Empire, they should be more direct.

But before the Naga and Elves could respond, they saw at the entrance of the Royal Court, the male Dragon that obscured the sky. His enormous body casting a shadow like a mountain on the corridor of the great hall.

What an enormous and strong body it was, forcing these creatures seated at the banquet table to crane their necks as high as possible just to see the Dragon Emperor’s face.

The door of the Royal Court was already wide enough, but in the eyes of these creatures, the robust and huge Red Dragon seemed as if it was squeezing through the door.

The towering head with a few gigantic and long Dragon Horns seemed as though they would pierce the ceiling of the Royal Court.

Some Elves even felt as if a gigantic castle was crushing towards them, the oppressive feeling on their vision was unrivaled.

This Ancestral Red Dragon did not exude any aura, yet the instinctive physical pressure it exerted caused the Naga and Elves in the great hall to feel a massive threat, instinctively entering a battle alert state.

Even the Giant Dragon cubs, who appeared obediently cute all seated in a row, were like big cats encountering a deadly threat, slightly baring their teeth and making "fu-fu" sounds.

Thud, thud, thud

Heavy footsteps echoed above the great hall, the Dragon Language of the Dragon Group’s tumultuous echoes also resonated at this moment.

"King!"

This was not the Dragon Group lowering the status of the Ancestral Red Dragon, but a habit of Giant Dragons; within the Dragon species, they refer to their strongest ruler and leader as the King.

Dragons with scales of various colors lowered their heads, even the Ancestral Golden Dragon Oblash bared its teeth and gently shook its head, then quickly lifted it up.

Not until the Ancestral Red Dragon was seated firmly on the throne did the Elves and Naga snap back to reality, feeling a bit embarrassed by their overreaction.

"Esteemed King of All Dragons, Emperor of the Empire..." The Naga Queen and the Elf Princess’s salutation was interrupted by the Ancestral Red Dragon.

Karon gently lifted his enormous Dragon Claw, and all sounds instantly vanished, leaving only the sound of breathing from one Dragon after another.

Only the layered and overlapping voice of the Ancestral Red Dragon sounded.

"Don’t be bound by too many formalities, Naga from the deep sea, and Elves of the west," Karon said, "I welcome your visit, the Dragon civilization does not have intricate modulations, just as entertaining envoys from both tribes at the same time, I hope you can get used to it!"

The Naga Queen nodded, paid her respect to the unfathomable Dragon Emperor, and then said, "Coming to the Empire, naturally one must adapt to the Empire’s customs, I also have no intention of testing the patience of Giant Dragons."

"The Eternal Tide Tribe, after discussion, hopes to establish a true alliance with the mighty Empire, though we are only a branch tribe of the Naga, we believe in the sea, we can contribute some and be of assistance to the Empire."
