Beneath the Red Dragon

Karon paced and walked over to the excitedly shouting Green Dragon Antajena, listening to the chattering of the Green Dragon, a sense of gratification from nurturing her emerged.

A wild Ogre was tied to an experimental platform made of magic alloy, its newly acquired intelligence showing as it fearfully watched the excited Green Dragon Antajena and the approaching Ancestral Red Dragon.

This wild Ogre’s mind was near collapse, its nascent intelligence trembling crazily. This scene for it was nothing short of an inescapable nightmare.

Even though traces of joy and dreamy madness still lingered in its brain, they could not stop the fear that came from the heart.

"The peak of ecstasy stimulates their brains to release two hundred units of stimulatory hormones, but this element extracted from the tobacco herb can stimulate these creatures’ bodies to release one thousand two hundred and fifty units of stimulatory hormones,"

Green Dragon Antajena put down the test tube in her hand, the icy blue solvent leaving some traces clinging to the transparent tube.

"And the stimulant from this substance is more than ten times stronger than naturally secreted influencing hormones, ordinary creatures can’t withstand such torture,"

"And using this substance to gradually stimulate them, it will weaken the sensitivity of the relevant organs within their bodies, and in order to maintain the level of addiction caused by this substance, individuals will frantically pursue intensely stimulating and crazy pleasurable things,"

"Even if you make them do the most unimaginable things, they will be willing to follow our orders, just to gain pleasure!"

Green Dragon Antajena giggled, "This is what you call addictive behavior, Karon. We can use this method to control some unnecessary troubles, like those little mice causing chaos in the Imperial."

"We don’t even need to use magic on them, so that no one can see the traces, and we can silently stab at the organizations and big figures behind those little mice."

Karon knew what Green Dragon Antajena had injected into this Ogre; it was the extract from magical herbs cultivated by Pik Fairy Riven. In Karon’s understanding, it was akin to solutions like pseudoephedrine.

But this solution was named Devil’s Joy Potion by Green Dragon Antajena.

Karon shook his head and said, "Antajena, you’re wasting time using my laboratory for such a boring experiment, though it suits the Green Dragon Species’ character quite well."

Green Dragon Antajena smiled, holding Karon’s arm, her full bosom pressing and squashing against it, natural allure appearing on her beautiful face.

"It’s not all that boring, Karon. Look, if I use this Devil’s Joy Potion and alter its properties using alchemy, then use it as casting materials for magic and construct a spell around it, do you think I could control the spirit and mind of many powerful beings?"

"Just like how the poison of Dragon blood becomes our strength, if I research in this way, do you think the spells I create in the future could affect divine beings, even Divine Spirits?"

Karon amusedly reached out and pinched the gleaming tip of Green Dragon Antajena’s nose, laughing softly, "The minds of gods are not entirely unassailable, there’s a legend of a Divine Spirit who wrote scriptures to enchant others into worshipping himself as almighty. But after he read his own scriptures, he turned into a madman."

"However, the constitution of Divine Spirits is completely different from mortal beings, attempting to influence them with such simple means might be overly bold."

"As for mages’ research key points, you’ve grasped half of it: bold enough imagination, but not yet meticulous enough..."

Green Dragon Antajena’s luscious red lips landed a hard kiss on Karon’s mouth, blocking the Ancestral Red Dragon’s forthcoming criticism.

After a long while, Green Dragon Antajena finally released the powerlessly struggling Karon, giggling, "Even Ancient Giant Dragons are born from dragon eggs. Who knows, maybe my magic in the future can grow strong enough to influence the level of Divine Spirits."
