Night falls.

Under normal circumstances, the East Spring Undying Bone could suppress or erase True Demonic Qi with Spirit-Extinguishing Corpse Qi, but refining it for Corpse Nourishing is nearly impossible. This parallels the incompatibility between corpses and ghosts.

The incompatibility means that a Corpse Cultivator cannot concurrently cultivate ghosts, and a Ghost Cultivator cannot nourish corpses. If the two interact, they will repel each other, leading to either the corpse devouring the ghost or the ghost feeding on the corpse, making peaceful coexistence impossible.

But now, the East Spring Undying Bone and the Three Thousand Blood Inks have started refining True Demonic Qi.

Fortunately, no rejection phenomenon has occurred, so Wen Jiu wasn’t overly worried, though he remained cautious.

Wen Jiu put away his thoughts and checked the daily settlement again.

Along with the Three Thousand Blood Inks and East Spring Undying Bone, the nurturing of the Five Ghosts also brought Wen Jiu some surprise and delight.

The Ghost-faced Butcher and Earth Demon devoured Yin Evil Qi, producing ghost qi and Yin Technique, but little ghost qi and Yin Technique were generated from devouring blood qi.

He had already realized this outside the Little Demon Realm, so Wen Jiu had mentally prepared himself.

Even though Ghost Cultivation and nurturing Law-Devouring Yin Insect in the Little Demon Realm were not very efficient, he accepted it.

However, what Wen Jiu didn’t expect was that during the daily settlement, there’s something called Hidden Demon Blood Qi in the Yin Evil Qi that the Ghost-faced Butcher and Earth Demon devoured.

But he clearly did not sense any blood qi, and even the Three Corpses didn’t perceive or devour this so-called Hidden Demon Blood Qi. Fortunately, there was information about Hidden Demon in the Demon Soul’s memory.

A particularly unique existence among True Demons.

The Yin Demon Seed, Yin Demonic Qi, and other Demon Cultivator techniques were created through research on Hidden Demons. This demon is very special; upon death, it sinks into the ground, and its demonic qi immediately disperses completely.

It doesn’t, like other True Demons or Demon Cultivators, leave behind demonic qi to linger for millennia after death.

Its demon blood behaves similarly, merging with the earth to form a cold water flow that continuously spreads chill. No matter how divine senses probe, it’s simply water, just much colder.

Upon seeing this information, Wen Jiu immediately thought of the cold grey stream on Lengxi Mountain.

"Could that be Hidden Demon Blood Qi?" Wen Jiu was startled and used a Blood Corpse Escape to reach the cold stream outside his cave.

After carefully probing with his Divine Sense and placing the Ghost-faced Butcher by the stream for a moment, an exciting discovery was made — the cold stream water was indeed Hidden Demon Blood.
