Grado finally understood, "So, Navel Needle is quite gentle. But why is it so quick to take effect?"

Lu Jiu laughed, "Its quick effect is precisely because it’s gentle. Have you heard of overcoming strength with gentleness? In fact, utmost gentleness is strength, which is another way of explaining Yin and Yang. Like in any country dealing with flooding, the best method is not blocking but dredging."

Just like if everyone could understand the Inner Canon of the Yellow Emperor, there would be no need for doctors in this world.

Even if the Inner Canon of the Yellow Emperor is laid out before them, most don’t bother to look, just like many people talk about health preservation all day but can’t even manage the basics of going to bed early and rising early.

Is it because they don’t know the benefits of going to bed and waking up early?

Obviously not.

Most people push knowingly against the impossible.

They all pursue going against the natural order.
