Fantasy Lord: Beginning with Daily Intelligence

Chapter 383 - 236: Abyssal Storm, the True Kingdom War

As time slowly passed, the breath of the Abyssal Storm was continuously spreading, and the aura of destruction began to intertwine throughout the heavens and earth. This was a malicious intent from the world itself. From the moment they stepped into this Exotic World, ten days later, the Abyssal Storm would be fully brewed, sweeping across the entire world. Each noble must reach the center within those ten days and find a safe harbor, or else the terrifying Abyssal Storm would be enough to drag them into the abyss.

Just as previously mentioned, some knew about this information, while others did not.

However, this had nothing to do with Thor; after capturing the Griffin River Demon, on the third day, after thoroughly scouting the surroundings, he led the entire Knight Order towards the center.

For others, it might be difficult to detect the core, but for Thor, who received daily intelligence reports, finding the core was not a particularly difficult task.

Through several days of intelligence, coupled with the investigations by Uncle Marshall and Reine, he had basically determined the location of the core.

The group set out towards the north.

Along the way, daily intelligence continued to refresh relentlessly.

And the surrounding yields seemed to increase as they approached the core.

Though they hadn’t encountered the Griffin River Demon, which could permanently enhance Knight Talent, there was no shortage of various Magic Plants and other yields. Thor even discovered a peculiar fruit tree in a cave based on daily intelligence, identifying it as the Troy Fruit, known to enhance Spiritual Power and the Magic Talent of Mages.

Even ordinary people had a certain probability of awakening Magic Talent and permanently improving Spiritual Power upon consumption.

For Mages, the enhancement of talent was even more apparent.

This Troy Fruit tree even bore three fruits.

Yet, it was unclear whether the roots were damaged or lacking nutrients, or if this Troy Fruit naturally yielded in cycles. As the three fruits approached maturity, the whole tree gradually withered.

In the end, Thor had no choice but to pick the three Troy Fruits and move on.

Subsequent rewards on the road continued without pause.

Until the group arrived at the central area.

By this point, less than three days remained until the Abyssal Storm would sweep across.

Through several days of action.

Thor and his group finally reached the first harbor mentioned in the daily intelligence.

This was a place located within the crevice of a valley on a cliff.

The peculiar cliff, as if crafted by knives and axes, was neatly cut.

The enormous cave could even accommodate hundreds of people living together.

In the relatively warm weather outside, the inside of the cave retained a refreshing coolness.

The cave was shallow, with almost a direct view to its end.

The center featured a small pond.

Water continuously flowed out, clearly indicating that this pond connected to an underground river.

A campfire was lit, illuminating the entire cave like daylight.

Thor glanced, then turned his gaze to Reine and Uncle Marshall.

"Reine!"

"Uncle Marshall!"

Words spoken.

"Master!"

"Young Master Thor!"

The two seemed somewhat puzzled, but at that moment, they swiftly stepped forward.

"Uncle Marshall, head to the right side; there’s a group of Flaming Elephants. Hunt down as many as possible today."

"Reine, go to the east; there’s a group of Demon Ape Elephants. Also try to hunt as many as possible."

Thor spoke, providing instructions with his words.

The Abyssal Storm would rage for fifteen days. During these fifteen days, they must endure in this cave, and under such circumstances, having sufficient food prepared is the most critical.

After all, even Earth Knights need to replenish food.

"Yes!"

The two exchanged a glance and then quickly nodded.

Upon acknowledging, they promptly started to take action.

Fifty-four knights in total, with Marshall and Reine each taking twenty, leaving fourteen knights. Thor commanded these remaining individuals to swiftly get to work. With half a month to spend here, naturally, proper preparations were necessary.

After all, wood, for example, and accommodations.

These all need to be prepared.

On the mountaintop, a large amount of wood was cut down.

One purpose was to build a shelter; the other was to store wood.

As night gradually descended, the rooms were completed. Reine and Marshall returned, carrying with them numerous game animals. Each of the forty knights bore substantial prey, although the two were unclear why so many were needed.

But since Thor requested it, they naturally chose to comply.

Yet despite having sufficient prey, Thor didn’t let them stop; on the second day, he instructed them to continue hunting.

Meanwhile, he continued preparing.

Until the third day arrived, only then did Thor cease issuing commands.

Instead, he summoned everyone back to the cave.

By now, the previously spacious cave had become quite full. A large amount of wood and the hastily constructed makeshift living quarters were present within the cave; around were numerous demon beast corpses, piled so densely that the cave was filled with a strong, pervasive smell.

"Master!"

Witnessing this scene, Reine couldn’t resist his curiosity and looked towards Thor.
