Fantasy Lord: Beginning with Daily Intelligence

Chapter 377 - 233: Day 1 of Battle Royale – Surprise from the Daily Briefing

Amidst the enveloping white light, silhouettes vanished one by one. Thor felt his vision replaced by a vast expanse of whiteness, and soon a sensation of weightlessness enveloped him, akin to riding a roller coaster in a previous life, though it did not last long.

Merely a few breaths’ time.

The white world receded.

The sensation of weightlessness also disappeared from his body.

His vision refocused, revealing a forest. Sunlight streamed gently through the gaps between tall trees, the air filled with the earthy fragrance of soil, as well as the scent of leaves and decaying branches.

"Master!"

"Sir!"

"Young Master Thor!"

Voices rang out as Thor’s consciousness returned, and the knights around him began to wake up as well.

Reine, Anna, Marshall, and several official knights gathered around.

"Reine, take a few people and check the right side."

Thor ordered, directing Reine.

It seemed that they had already landed in that exotic world, and the first task was to understand the entire situation, as even the scrolls before did not clearly explain what this exotic world was.

"Yes!"

Reine responded respectfully and quickly retreated.

"Uncle Marshall, take some people and explore the left side."

After Reine left, Thor turned to Marshall.

"Yes!"

Marshall nodded and led a few official knights away.

As the two set off to explore, Thor began instructing the official knights to cut down trees and set up a camp.

Having just arrived on the first day, Thor did not intend to do much but planned to rest here for a few days, waiting for the daily intelligence to be updated a few times before taking action.

After all, the opportunities in an exotic realm are unknown, as are the dangers. Making a rash move without confirming the dangers would only cause trouble.

The official knights quickly got to work.

With their extraordinary power, the speed at which they set up the camp was unquestionably fast. In under two hours, a tent large enough to accommodate them was erected.

By then, Reine and Marshall, responsible for the exploration, had both returned.

They both brought back several demon beasts.

"How’s the situation?"

Looking at the two, Thor carried a hint of curiosity.

"Master, the area further in on the right is a forest, with trees growing taller the deeper you go. Some of them seem to be at least a thousand years old. We encountered some demon beasts, mostly Tier One and Tier Two, but I sensed an extremely terrifying presence in that forest, possibly high-tier demon beasts."

Reine respectfully reported, narrating the information gathered during his two-hour exploration.

"Demon beasts, huh!"

Thor nodded, not surprised that this exotic world had demon beasts.

Even if this world was unknown, having read countless novels in his previous life, he understood that exotic worlds involved with the continent likely had intricate connections to it.

His gaze turned to Marshall.

"To the left, about ten miles out, there’s a large river. It’s wider than the Maine River, also inhabited by demon beasts with higher levels than those Reine encountered. I saw several Tier Three magical beasts; the river is extremely turbulent and will be difficult to cross."

Seeing Thor’s gaze, Marshall spoke calmly.

"Alright!"

"Reine, Uncle Marshall, continue to explore with the camp as the center, and map out the area within ten miles."

Thor pondered briefly before issuing another command.

Though he planned to wait for daily intelligence updates, it didn’t mean he wouldn’t do something.

"Yes!"

Reine and Marshall nodded, having no doubts about this.

The two quickly set out again.

Meanwhile, Thor instructed everyone to start a fire and prepare meals.

Until night gradually fell.

Reine and Marshall returned, and in the tent, a relatively simple map was already laid out before Thor.

Simply looking at this basic map revealed little.

But Thor was in no hurry; he planned to stay here for a few days, enough time for Reine and Marshall to fully map the terrain.

The night sky was dotted with stars.

Unlike the sky over the continent, this place had no moon.

By the large campfire, Thor, Reine, Marshall, Anna, and several official knights feasted, the demon beasts hunted by Reine and Marshall quickly devoured by everyone.

"Master, the demon beast meat here is surprisingly delicious!"

Reine said, savoring his meal, unable to hide his amazement.

"Indeed, sir, the demon beasts here taste even better than those in the Northern Province."

As Reine spoke, a formal knight’s eyes lit up and he spoke with a smile.

"Hahaha, these must be different species from the Northern Province!"

Thor replied with a laugh, conversing with everyone.

It wasn’t until complete darkness fell that the meal ended, and everyone began to rest.

On the first day in the exotic realm, the group took turns keeping watch.

Meanwhile, Thor awaited the daily intelligence system upon entering the exotic realm on the first day.
