Chapter 416: You Evil Monster!

The dark clouds passed by on the sky, and the sun had officially disappeared from the sky for the day.

A moon shone brightly.

"It’s an ordinary moon..."

A zealot said with a frown, but then another zealot slapped him back on the head, like he was lecturing an idiot.

"You moron. The demon moon only appears once the moon bleeds. The moon hasn’t bled just yet."

The long-haired zealot said.

"How does the moon bleed?"

The rookie zealot asked.

"It bleeds naturally every three years, and tonight is the night—we just need to be ready for when it happens."

The long-haired zealot said.

The rest of the zealots were busy making offerings for the demons that they believed would come with the bleeding moon.

In one bowl, there was a heart of a lamb; in another, there was a jar of fresh blood; and the last bowl contained the ashes of a burnt offering.

"Dear, what happens when the demons come?"

A female zealot asked while sitting on the lap of her lover—they were embracing each other lovingly.

"Once the demons come... we will ascend to another realm of existence... we will get immortality and forever be together as one."

Her lover said, and then he hugged her from behind and grabbed her breasts firmly with his hands.

"And we will make love forever."

He said with a grin and kissed her on the neck.

"Mmh...!"

The female zealot seemed to like it, and she then turned her head around and passionately kissed her lover.

In that moment, everything around them turned crimson-red as something was happening with the moon!

At the surface of the gray moon, a thin fracture appeared that soon started widening and widening.

From that fracture, crimson light gushed out that entirely covered the moon’s surface—turning it crimson-red.

"The moon is bleeding! It is time!"

A long-haired zealot shouted.

The Sword of the Sakura slid fully inside the keyhole.

The head of the zealots—a man with a long beard that reached his chest—turned towards the sky with a wide grin on his face.

"Beautiful sight... This will be a night to be remembered. The world has been in need of cleansing for a long time.

"The time has finally come for us to bring forth our righteous judgment."

He walked towards the gate under the excited looks of the zealots, and he put his hand on the hilt of the sword.

The man’s eyes widened in excitement, but then—a sound of bang echoed through the air—and half of the man’s face was blown into pieces.

Blood splattered all across the gate.

"..."

The zealots stopped their celebration as they watched their leader drop to the ground with half of his head missing.

"The party is over."

In that moment, a voice came, and they looked over to see a black-haired young man walking towards them.

A smoking triple-barreled shotgun in his left hand and Blackest Blade in his right hand.

’I was almost late.’

Fang Raon thought.

With Godspeed, he arrived at the mountain a few hours ago already, but for some reason, this mountain was strange.

It didn’t allow him to use Skydance or Godspeed to make it to the top of the mountain quickly—there must be a magic spell in place that blocked them.

Therefore.

Fang Raon had to climb all the way!

"A player!"

A zealot hissed.

Their religion centered around their hatred towards players in general because they believed that they were the True Evil of the World.

And that demons would destroy all the players and return the world back to what it was before—a peaceful land.

However.

They had pretty much forgotten that it was far from peaceful before the players came.

Monsters roamed the land freely, killing locals like they were a free buffer, and because of players, all of that stopped.

There were some players that killed locals as well—yes—but they were the biggest reasons why most of the locals didn’t need to live in fear any longer.

"Kill him!"

The long-haired zealot shouted.

In that moment, the female zealot with her lover jumped towards Fang Raon with flashes of anger in their faces.

"Dear, let’s rip him apart!"

The female zealot pulled out her whip, and her lover brandished his sword, and they attacked at the same time.

"Right."

Fang Raon pointed the triple-barreled shotgun towards the female zealot and pulled on the trigger.

BANG!

The pellets shredded through the female zealot’s abdomen, and she coughed out blood before collapsing to the ground.

"MARIA!"

Her lover screamed, but then Fang Raon’s black blade met with his throat, and he was beheaded with one strike.

The zealots attacked Fang Raon.

Meanwhile, the long-haired zealot quickly walked towards the Sword of the Sakura and reached out his hand towards it.

"No, you won’t!"

Fang Raon pointed the triple-barreled shotgun and pulled on the trigger—the pellets accurately shot through the long-haired zealot’s hand.

The long-haired zealot’s hand disappeared into a bloody mist, and he recoiled in pain as his hand was completely gone.

"Aaaargggghhhh!"

He screamed in agony.

Fang Raon headbutted one of the zealots, crushing his skull, and then swung the blade, cutting through them like cheese.

The blood shed!

"You bastard!"

One of the zealots tackled him straight on and then wrapped his arms around his stomach and tried to push him off the cliff.

Fang Raon twirled the black blade around and then stabbed it through the zealot’s back until it came out the other side in a burst of blood.

"Ugh..."

The zealot dropped dead on the ground.

[Next Level: 1%]

"I WILL FINISH THE JOB!"

The long-haired zealot, with his last remaining hand, reached out towards the Sword of the Sakura and grabbed its hilt!

He was about to twist it like a key!

"Anchor!"

Fang Raon reached out his sword-wielding hand towards the long-haired zealot and hit him with Anchor!

The power of one of the Pillars of Power struck the long-haired zealot, and he couldn’t move his hand.

He wanted to move it desperately, but it was like there was an invisible power holding him in place!

"Kill him, quick!"

Zealots rushed at Fang Raon, but then he used his speed and blitzed through the zealots before they could react.

The Blackest Blade sang through the air, and the heads of the zealots rolled off their shoulders.

Fang Raon didn’t use Godspeed because he couldn’t.

He only used his own speed.

’I can use Anchor, for some reason. I can’t use Godspeed, Skydance, Reach, Read, or Maxima—is Anchor, Void, and Forge different from the other Pillars of Power?’

Fang Raon wasn’t sure.

He then pointed the triple-barreled shotgun towards the long-haired zealot and pulled on the trigger.

The head of the long-haired zealot exploded into a fine red mist.

There were nothing but dead zealots everywhere around him.

"...Whoo."

Fang Raon let out a long breath, and then he moved the shotgun over his shoulder and strapped it onto his back.

’We’re done here.’

He looked towards the sky, where the demon moon was still lingering, but it did look like the crimson-red hue was slowly fading.

The demon moon wasn’t going to last long.

’I’ll just wait until it has passed and then head back to Peter to give him back the shotgun... though, I wouldn’t mind keeping it.’

Fang Raon thought, and then he saw the Sword of the Sakura still sitting inside the keyhole and thought about taking it.

But at that moment, a hand grabbed his leg from behind, and he turned around to see the bleeding female zealot holding onto his leg.

"You... Evil... Monster..."

The female zealot whispered.

"I am evil? You were about to release demons, who, without a doubt, would’ve killed everyone."

Fang Raon raised an eyebrow.

He wasn’t sure whether these zealots were just delusional losers or whether they had been brainwashed.

"Haha... You lost..."

The female zealot grinned with bloody teeth, and Fang Raon frowned—as it seemed quite obvious that he won.

But then he had a bad feeling and turned his head around.

Click~!

The Sword of the Sakura was turned on the gate, and the Prison Gate’s magic circle started collapsing!

The head of the zealots—whose half of the head was missing—turned the sword like a key in the hole and then turned to look at Fang Raon.

"A cleansing..."

The man smiled, and then he dropped to his knees and then collapsed on the ground, lifeless—no longer alive.

"Shit."

Fang Raon gulped, and then he immediately ran for the gate, but before he could reach it, the doors slammed open.

Dark light surged out, and slammed into the sky, and the whole sky became black like it had been blanketed by the darkest night.

Even the demon moon was no longer visible!

"Hehehe... Hahahaha..."

The female zealot laughed madly.

Swoosh~!

Something incredibly fast ran past Fang Raon, and as he turned around, he saw a white-haired person with demon horns kneeling before the wounded female zealot.

"Ah..."

The female zealot looked into the red eyes of the white-haired demon—who was an insanely handsome-looking man.

"You are a nice-looking girl. From now on, you will be my sex slave. How does that sound?"

The white-haired demon—Incubius—asked with a devilish grin on his face.

"...Eh?"

The female zealot just replied with an "eh?" as if she didn’t truly believe what she heard coming from his mouth.
