They Called Me Trash? Now I'll Hack Their World

Chapter 299: The Day Of Judgment [6]

The world lost all color, washing out into a sterile, monochrome gray overlaid with cascading lines of violent crimson code.

Top center of my vision, the blood-red system overlay burned with absolute clarity:

[ADMINISTRATOR MODE: ACTIVE]

[TIME REMAINING: 04:59]

Before I took a single step toward the towering demon, my eyes snapped to Sira’s motionlessly sprawled body buried in the corner rubble. Stone dust was still raining down from the fractured ceiling.

I raised my left hand, snapping my fingers.

[System Command: Isolate Object -> Target: Sira]

[Deploy Absolute Structure Barrier -> Status: Immutable]

A translucent, cubic grid of glowing dark blue lines snapped into existence directly over Sira’s limp form. The fallen masonry, shattered ironwood beams, and stray embers that struck the barrier didn’t just bounce off, their kinetic energy was instantly neutralized, dissolving into harmless light particles.

She was completely sealed inside a localized pocket of static space.

Now, the demon.

The twelve-foot abomination roared, its molten warhammer swinging down in a vertical overhead strike designed to pulverize me along with the remaining floorboards. The air screamed beneath the crushing weight of its demonic aura.

In standard mode, the attack would have been unblockable. But in Administrator Mode, I didn’t see a weapon, I saw raw trajectory lines, the structural weakness of the core, and the precise neural latency of the demon’s nervous system.

I didn’t even draw back to dodge. I simply tilted my head six inches to the left.

CRACK!

The warhammer smashed into the flagstones right where my head had been a millisecond prior, sending a plume of molten stone splashing upward.

[System Command: Overwrite Localized Friction -> Target: Self (AGI: MAX)]

I surged forward. My body blurred into a dark, distortion-like streak, leaving behind residual static shadows in the air.

Oathstorm whistled as I drove the blade directly upward into the demon’s armpit, the narrow joint where its obsidian plate armor met raw, unarmored flesh.

THWACK!

Dark lightning erupted from the tip of the steel. The demon screamed as my strike tore straight through its internal muscle tissue, forcing its left arm to instantly go limp and drop its shield.

The creature spun around in a frenzy, swinging its massive spiked tail with ferocious speed.

I raised my forearm, deploying a localized code shield.

BOOM!

The kinetic shockwave tore through the remaining window frames, but my feet didn’t budge an inch. The floorboards beneath my boots shattered into splinters, yet I remained completely anchored, my eyes glowing with absolute, unfeeling dark static.

"Is that all?" I muttered, my voice echoing with a faint, synthesized double-tone.

[TIME REMAINING: 03:22]

The demon’s burning eyes widened with genuine terror for the first time. It sensed the anomaly, I wasn’t using ordinary mana. I was directly editing the rules of engagement. It roared in sheer desperation, pumping every drop of its corrupt, infernal core into its warhammer. The iron turned a blinding white-hot, radiating a sphere of fire twenty feet in every direction.

It charged, intending to turn the entire third floor into a miniature volcano to drag me down with it.

"You’re in my way," I said coldly.

I sheathed Oathstorm with a sharp CLACK, sliding my stance low. Both of my hands gathered the swelling dark energy radiating from my core.

[Void Thunder]

[Admin Enhancement: Spatial Erasure Parameter Attached]

My hands slammed together.

There was no thunderous roar. There was no crackle of sparks.

Instead, an eerie, absolute silence washed over the ruined landing as a sphere of midnight-black lightning erupted from my palms.

The Void Thunder didn’t just strike the demon. It consumed space itself.

The molten warhammer, the demon’s obsidian armor, its thick flesh, and its corrupt core were all instantly swallowed into a vortex of pitch-black static. The creature’s desperate scream was cut short as the sphere expanded, disintegrating its entire upper torso into raw ash before the void collapsed back in on itself with a violent, implosive POP.

The structural integrity of the entire upper floor couldn’t withstand the spatial strain.

CRACK-CRACK-CRACK!

The remaining support pillars turned to powder. The grand stone vaulting of the ceiling gave way completely. Tons of ironwood, marble, and granite came cascading down like an avalanche.

[TIME REMAINING: 01:45]

I ignored the falling ceiling entirely, holding up my left hand to weave a secondary overhead shield that deflected the crushing stone blocks as the third-floor landing dissolved into a mountain of ruin and smoke.

The moment the heavy debris settled, I sprinted across the ruined, exposed ledge toward the glowing blue cubic barrier.

With a flick of my wrist, the barrier dissolved back into ambient mana.

I dropped to my knees beside Sira’s limp body, my fingers flying to her throat.

Cold.

Her skin was deadly pale, a trickle of dark blood dried at the corner of her lips. Her pulse point was completely still. No air moved through her chest.

No. No, no, no.

My mind raced against the ticking clock.

[System Command: Full Body Scan -> Target: Sira]

A glowing green wireframe of Sira’s body projected in my field of vision, flashing with critical error warnings:

Skeletal Integrity: Fractured ribs (3rd, 4th, 5th)

Cardiovascular: Traumatic Cardiac Arrest

Respiratory: Asphyxiation / Trapped Airway

Vital Thread: 0.4% (Flickering)

"She’s not gone yet..." I rasped, my hands trembling as I pressed both palms flat over her sternum. Her soul hadn’t departed; her physical engine had simply been violently knocked offline by the impact.

I gritted out through clenched teeth, forcing my mind to focus despite the mounting, agonizing throb beginning to build behind my temples.

[System Command: Admin Diagnostics -> Target: Sira]

[Realign Bone Structure -> Ribcage: Restored]

[Deploy Targeted Electrical Pulse -> Myocardium: Trigger]

A precise, micro-current of dark lightning shot from my fingertips straight through her chest wall, targeting the exact sinus node of her heart.

Thump!

Her body twitched faintly against the cold stone.

[TIME REMAINING: 00:18]

Come on. Breathe!

I pushed another precise pulse of current into her chest, simultaneously clearing the blood clogging her windpipe with a localized wind code.

Thump-thump!

[TIME REMAINING: 00:07]

GASP!

Sira’s chest violently heaved upward. Her eyes didn’t open, but a ragged, desperate lungful of air rushed into her throat. Her heart began to beat in a steady, albeit weak, rhythm.

Thump... thump... thump...

The green wireframe stabilized, her vital thread solidifying back into a safe zone.

I let out a long, shuddering, ragged exhale, collapsing backward into a sitting position on the rubble. I dragged my sleeve across my sweaty forehead, leaving a dark smear of dirt and blood.

"Made it..." I rasped, looking down at her rising and falling chest.

[ADMINISTRATOR MODE: TIME OUT]

The red timer shattered into a million glowing particles.

The monochrome gray world violently snapped back into full, blinding color, and with it came the agonizing, crushing reality of neural backlash.

AGGHH!

A soundless scream caught in my throat as an invisible sledgehammer slammed directly into the core of my brain. It felt as if liquid lead were being poured straight into my neural pathways. My vision glitched violently, covered in blinding static, sharp white flashes, and deep crimson stains.

My arms gave out entirely. My forehead slammed down onto the cold stone floor right beside Sira.

"Fuck..." I choked out, my body refusing to obey a single command as total darkness completely swallowed the edges of my sight.

The sound of distant screams, crackling hellfire, and approaching boots faded into absolute silence as my consciousness plunged straight into the void.

***

The settling dust hung heavy over the monolithic ruin of the third-floor landing. Smoke rose in thin, lazy wisps from the pile of dark ash where the colossal demon had stood moments prior, the air still smelling intensely of ozone, copper, and burnt stone.

Sira lay quietly against the shattered wall, her chest rising and falling in a shallow, steady rhythm as her stabilized lungs drew air.

Beside her, Jin was completely motionless, sprawled face down in the rubble. His hands were slack, his pale face smeared with dirt and dried blood, and the last residual sparks of dark static were dying out along his skin.

Suddenly, the ambient crackle of distant flames went quiet.

The air didn’t violently rupture like the demonic rifts in the sky. Instead, the space three feet above the ruined floor parted smoothly, peeling back like silk under a razor blade.

A circular portal of shimmering silver light, ringed with deep crimson mana, expanded without a single sound.

A single boot stepped through the tear, treading lightly onto the broken stone.

The woman looked to be in her late thirties, possessing an aura of cold, undeniable majesty. Her long, liquid-silver hair fell in loose, elegant waves over a dark, high-collared coat embroidered with silver threads and crimson silk.

Her face was impeccably smooth, save for the subtle maturity around her sharp features, and her crimson eyes gleamed with keen, analytical intelligence.

Her gaze swept over the destroyed lecture wing. She looked at the collapsed support pillars, the localized spatial damage carved into the walls, and finally at the mound of black ash where a high-rank executioner demon had been disintegrated down to its atoms.

A single silver eyebrow arched upward in quiet intrigue.

She shifted her gaze, her crimson eyes lingering on Sira. The woman noted the lingering, faint blue aura still holding Sira’s internal organs together, protecting her from the ambient corruption of the demonic invasion.

"Resourceful," the woman murmured, her voice a low, velvety melody that carried an underlying weight of terrifying authority.

Finally, her eyes locked onto Jin’s limp, unconscious form.

She crossed the blood-slicked stone with smooth, graceful strides, her boots making almost no sound against the rubble. Stopping right beside Jin, she leaned down, her slender, gauntleted hand reaching into his blonde hair to tilt his face upward. She observed the faint blue system static still glitching beneath his closed eyelids and the severe strain etched onto his features.

A slow, unreadable smile curved her lips.

Without a word, she slid her hand beneath his arm, easily lifting him off the stone as if he weighed no more than a feather. She draped his limp arm over her shoulder, supporting his weight effortlessly against her side.

With Jin firmly in her grasp, the middle-aged silver-haired woman stepped backward through the silver-crimson portal.

The tear in space collapsed behind them in a silent flash of light, vanishing completely and leaving only the dust, the quiet breathing of Sira, and the echoing roars of the distant war.
