Saving The Monster Race Starts With Breeding The Elf Village

Chapter 268: Happiness Or A Lonely End

After hearing Nyx’s speech, many of the elves couldn’t help but look at her with peculiar expressions.

Because even though she had made the situation sound wholesome and noble, the actual discussions that had led to this moment had been anything but easy.

When Nyx first approached them individually or in small groups, they had laughed.

They had thought she was joking, playing one of her infamous pranks.

But as she continued, as her voice grew more serious and her arguments more pointed, the laughter died. She wasn’t kidding. She was talking about the potential extinction of their entire race.

Until that moment, none of them had thought about the future.

They had been so consumed by the present—by Julius, by the curse, by their daily struggles that they hadn’t realized what the absence of male elves would eventually mean.

No new children. No future generations. The slow, inevitable fading of the elven lineage.

It was a devastating realization.

One problem had just been solved, and another just as dire was already looming. This wasn’t an immediate crisis, but in a few decades, if nothing changed, there would be no elves left.

They needed a solution. And Nyx, of course, had one.

Luca.

She proposed that he become a breeding bull for the entire village—donating his seed to every capable elf, fathering all future children.

He would become, in essence, the progenitor of a new generation. The father of the village.

The suggestion had been met with shock. Blushes. Disbelief.

Many of them were fond of Luca, some more than fond.

But the idea of him fathering their children, of carrying his baby, was almost too much to process.

But then they thought about it. Really thought about it.

They had no other options.

The male elves were dead.

Other races? Unthinkable.

The males of other demi-human races were just as tyrannical as their own had been, they would never treat female elves as equals.

And humans? The very thought filled them with disgust.

Luca was the only option. He was human, yes, but nothing like the humans of this continent.

He was a Hero, chosen by the goddess, sent to protect them.

And wasn’t protecting their future lineage part of that mission?

Beyond that, every single elf in the village loved him. Trusted him. He had brought them peace and happiness after decades of suffering.

If anyone was the ideal candidate for this, it was him.

And then there was the personal aspect.

Many of them had already wanted to approach him—to confess, to seduce, to try their luck.

But they had held back, intimidated by Leona, Luna, Lulu, and Nyx.

Those four had staked their claims so openly, so boldly, that the others had felt there was no room for them.

But now? Now they had an excuse. A reason. A purpose.

Yes, they knew that Luca couldn’t be a true husband to all of them.

There were over fifty women—he couldn’t possibly build a family with each one.

Even if he spent every waking moment rotating through them, each would get only a few minutes of his time.

There would be no deep relationships, no shared lives, no growing old together.

But they had never had that anyway.

Their marriages had been hollow without warmth, duties without love.

They had raised their children alone, with no support from their so-called husbands.

But this would be different. This would be better.

Because the children would be Luca’s. The Hero’s. The man who had saved them all.

And even if they couldn’t have him, couldn’t share his love which would undoubtedly go to Luna, Lulu, Nyx, and Leona—they could have his child.

They could raise that child, spoil it, dress it up, watch it grow.

It was like carrying the child of a celebrity, a Hero, a legend. The thought made them giddy.

So, one by one, Nyx had shared these thoughts with everyone. And one by one, they had agreed.

They all loved Luca. They all wanted this.

And even though they knew they wouldn’t get his love all the time, the thought of his child growing inside them was enough.

So they had accepted Nyx’s terms.

They would ask Luca to be the father of the village. They would bear his children.

And when they all agreed, they thought they would simply go to him together and make their request.

He would in return accept easily, gratefully even.

After all, they were offering him a massive blessing: an entire harem of gorgeous elves, every shape and size, all willing to bear his children.

It was an opportunity any man would froth at the mouth for.

They imagined him dying of happiness on the spot.

But Nyx had shaken her head.

"He’ll hesitate." She said.

They hadn’t believed her. How could any man hesitate at such an offer?

But Nyx was insistent.

"He’ll struggle. That’s why we need to sweeten the deal. Make it more appealing."

And that was why they were naked.

Every single one of them, stripped bare, standing in the village square under the open sky.

It was Nyx’s idea. And honestly, every elf was deeply ashamed.

They had accepted the mission, yes, but the thought of being completely exposed in front of each other, in front of Luca was humiliating.

They had only agreed because Nyx was so adamant, and because they thought she was exaggerating about Luca’s hesitation.

But when they turned to look at him, they realized she hadn’t been exaggerating at all.

Luca wasn’t jumping for joy. He wasn’t thanking the gods for his good fortune. He wasn’t even smiling.

He was struggling.

His fists clenched and unclenched. His brow was furrowed.

His eyes, those eyes that were always so full of certainty, of decisiveness, of unshakable confidence were clouded with something else.

Hesitation. Pain, even. Like he was remembering something terrible, something that made his very soul ache.

The elves exchanged confused glances.

They couldn’t understand it. How could anyone, let alone a man hesitate at an offer like this?

Even they, if offered such a harem of beautiful women, would have jumped at the chance.

But Luca was resisting.

And what was even stranger was how human he looked.

Luca was human, of course—they never forgot that.

But in their eyes, he had always seemed something more. Something above.

He handled everything with confidence, with decisiveness, with an impenetrable calm that made him seem almost divine.

But now, in this moment, he looked fragile. Mortal. Genuinely struggling.

And there was pain in his eyes, pain that made him look like he was suffering through some old memory, some old wound that refused to heal.

Nyx watched him, biting her lip.

She had expected this. That was why she had used their naked bodies as a weapon—to overwhelm him, to make it impossible for him to refuse.

But even with over fifty beautiful elves standing bare before him, even with temptation beyond what any mortal man could resist, he was still holding back.

She knew she needed to change tactics.

So, she stepped closer, her naked breasts bouncing with each step, swaying in a way that was designed to mesmerize.

But Luca wasn’t looking at her. His gaze was distant, unfocused.

She forced a smile.

"Hero, can I ask you..." She said, her voice soft. "What do you see around you?"

She gestured at the gathered women, all of them watching him with anticipation.

Luca blinked, snapping out of his daze. A small, sly smile tugged at his lips as he glanced around.

"I see..." He said slowly. "...big tits. Fat tits. Small tits. Perky asses. Tiny asses."

His gaze swept over them, and several women blushed.

"I also see some pussies that have a lot of hair. Some pussies that are quite narrow to the extent that I wonder if I can even fit my finger inside."

More women covered themselves, their faces burning.

"And I see some pussies that are wet right now."

Several women clamped their thighs together, trying to hide the evidence of their arousal.

Nyx stared at him in dismay. That was not the answer she had expected. But nonetheless, she let out a small giggle, trying to regain her composure.

"I guess that’s accurate."

She paused, her expression growing solemn.

"But do you know what I see, Luca? Do you know what I see with my own eyes?"

Luca’s smile faded. "What do you see, Nyx?"

"I see resolve."

She swept her arm across the crowd.

"Every single elf in front of you is showing utmost resolve."

"You see, Hero..." She explained. "Us elves—we hold modesty in high regard."

She patted her own breasts, smirking.

"Even I, who am quite naughty, would never normally do something like this. And the rest of them..." She gestured at the others. "...they would die of humiliation before letting anyone see them like this."

She stepped closer, her eyes blazing.

"But they broke through that fear. They found strength—in you, in the future and they came here, completely naked, asking for your favor."

"They came with resolve in their hearts. Resolve to carry your children."

Luca’s gaze swept over the women again, and this time, he really saw them.

They were trying to stand tall, trying to appear confident, but many were trembling.

Not from the cold, by from the sheer, overwhelming shame of what they were doing.

Elves who valued virtue and dignity above almost everything else, standing naked in the middle of the village, begging a man to impregnate them.

It must have taken incredible bravery.

Nyx saw him wavering and pressed her advantage.

She gave him a playful look, though her voice remained serious as she said,

"There’s one more thing I have to tell you, Hero."

Luca raised an eyebrow.

"As I said, we elves are quite virtuous in nature. Normally, we wouldn’t dare show any skin. We have traditional lifestyles—so traditional that even when our husbands treated us harshly, we never went against them."

She paused. "That traditional aspect has been instilled in us for a very long time."

Luca’s eyes narrowed. "What are you trying to say?"

Nyx felt a chill run down her spine, but she forced herself to be brave.

"What I’m saying, Hero, is that now that you’ve seen all of us completely naked, we have no other option. We’re set for life."

She glanced at the other women, who nodded vigorously in support.

"You’re the only man we could ever be with now. No one else."

Leona stepped forward. "Exactly. That’s right."

Luna nodded. "We have no one else."

Lulu chimed in. "No one!"

One by one, the other elves began to voice their agreement.

"Yes, that’s right. We’re bound to you now."

"There’s literally no one else we could turn to."

"You’re our only hope."

Nyx continued, her voice growing more confident even as her nerves threatened to betray her.

"So basically, if you push us away right now, we’ll spend the rest of our lives alone. Miserable. Without children, without husbands."

"...We’ll probably die lonely deaths."

Luca’s jaw tightened.

"But if you accept us." Nyx pressed. "You’ll save us. You’ll give us the happiness we deserve."

"So, what are you going to do, Hero?" She finally asked.

"Are you going to grant us happiness?"

"Or are you going to lead us into a lonely end?"
