Chapter 403: Spirit Race Supplies Found
So everyone headed toward the abandoned camp.
"This tent looks very advanced, it’s quite different from ours." Lu Ke leapt off Erha and touched the tent’s material.
Then she poked her head inside and discovered it was even more peculiar.
Because she could see through, it was as if there wasn’t a tent at all.
"Xu Yi, it’s transparent. From inside, the tent looks outwards as transparent," Lu Ke exclaimed with excitement, thinking this tent couldn’t be part of human civilization.
"Transparent?" Xu Yi paused, then walked over to take a look.
Indeed, it was transparent, not just the surroundings, even the sky was transparent, but you could still see the frame, knowing you were inside a tent.
This kind of thing wasn’t something humans could produce.
"Xu Yi, does this planet have native civilization?" Qin Fan also came in to look around, then asked Xu Yi, since Xu Yi had seen the organizers before.
"This should be a tent used by the Spirit Race, they once sent personnel to explore this planet for a period. Perhaps, there are still Spirit Race people active on this planet now," Xu Yi explained, which was all he knew.
Xu Yi walked out of the tent and examined the surroundings.
There should have been quite a few people living here, as some traces could be found.
Unfortunately, apart from this tent, nothing else remained.
However, finding this tent was still a gain.
This tent could sleep seven or eight people, aside from the ground, every other side was transparent. This was too suitable for use here. From inside the tent, one could clearly see the surroundings.
But it wasn’t that easy to fold up.
After all, it’s not a human civilization’s creation but a technological product of the Spirit Race.
Yet, after Xu Yi probed with Spiritual Power, he found a control interface.
Pressing it, the tent started to automatically retract.
Finally, it turned into a cube-shaped object, weighing no more than 5 pounds.
Everyone was dumbfounded, awed by the Spirit Race’s technology.
The live stream room buzzed with excitement, exclaiming how powerful and convenient the tent was, that it could be automatically retrieved so perfectly.
Naturally, the tent was taken by Xu Yi.
The others had no objections.
"It’s such a pity, if only the Spirit Race had left more things behind, their technology level is too high, far beyond our imagination," Su Yan said regretfully and also glanced at her tracking ball.
She thought picking up more things from the organizers could definitely greatly enhance their living.
She was also curious about what they think now that Xu Yi found a tent?
Truthfully, the Spirit Race didn’t think much of it.
Just a tent, it wouldn’t change anything.
After Xu Yi took the tent, they continued onward.
Not long after lunch, Lu Ke stopped.
"Xu Yi, it seems there’s a Fierce Beast nearby, Erha is a bit agitated," Lu Ke suddenly said and then soothed Erha’s mood.
"Hmm, Black Qilin felt it too." Xu Yi also patted Black Qilin’s head, calming it down.
Perhaps it was still far away, so Xu Yi hadn’t noticed anything yet.
His sense of smell was enhanced, but compared to Erha and Black Qilin, it was still quite inferior. Therefore, it’s normal for them to detect earlier.
Xu Yi flipped onto Black Qilin’s back, tugged the reins, and said, "Black Qilin, let’s go find the target."
Black Qilin turned to look at Xu Yi, then flicked its tail and started walking in a certain direction.
The others quickly followed.
After a dozen minutes, Xu Yi and the others saw the Fierce Beast.
Five Fierce Beasts surrounding more than a dozen people.
It seemed they had just been surrounded and hadn’t started a clash yet.
"Xu Yi, it’s Xu Yi and his team, we’re saved."
"Help us! We are Jerry’s men, we once allied with you."
"Thank God, finally someone is here to save us."
Lu Ke guided Erha closer to Xu Yi and then asked, "Xu Yi, should we intervene?"
"Rescue," Xu Yi replied, then jumped off Black Qilin, patting its side.
Lu Ke and Wang Jin also jumped off Erha, and from their Star Chart Space, fetched a spear, assembling the handle in preparation for combat.
Xu Yi’s Red Lotus Flying Arrow shot straight towards one of the Fierce Beasts, and both Black Qilin and Erha charged forward.
The Red Lotus Flying Arrow pierced through the head of one Fierce Beast, killing it instantly.
The other four Fierce Beasts immediately turned around and charged at Xu Yi’s group.
"Let’s move, quickly back to the camp."
"Wait, aren’t we helping?"
"Are you stupid? Xu Yi can kill a Fierce Beast, and they have two mounts, handling these will be easy."
"True, better hurry back to report."
"Don’t we want the 5 Brain Crystals?"
"Want, sure, but only if you can take them. It’d be lucky to handle just one; forget about 5 Brain Crystals. Move quickly, if Xu Yi’s team retreats too, we’ll be done for."
The live stream audience was stunned by their comments, Xu Yi’s team saw those trapped and immediately intervened.
Yet, Xu Yi’s group attracted the Fierce Beasts away, and instead of helping, they plan to run away?
As they fled, their live stream audience felt embarrassed, leading to a mass unfollowing.
Instantly, the live stream audience count dropped to zero.
"Xu Yi, they ran away," Lu Ke noticed, saying in frustration.
"Damn it, those bastards, we save them, and they flee?" Liu Li couldn’t help but curse.
"Forget them, let’s focus on handling things carefully ourselves," Xu Yi replied, controlling the Red Lotus Flying Arrow to return.
Although he could kill a Level 2 Fierce Beast now, his Spiritual Power would be largely depleted, and dealing with a second one would be challenging.
"Use Brain Crystal based on circumstances," Xu Yi controlled the Red Lotus Flying Arrow to be near Black Qilin. It was ultimately a Level 1 Fierce Beast, so dealing with Level 2 wouldn’t be possible; thus Xu Yi needed to assist.
Erha being a Level 2 Fierce Beast could likely handle one on its own.
This leaves two Fierce Beasts to manage efficiently, requiring the use of a Level 2 Brain Crystal.
"Lu Ke and I will handle it, everyone else, act accordingly," Qin Fan stated, knowing Lu Ke’s telekinesis surpassed his own; she could probably kill one with a Brain Crystal.
However, what Xu Yi and the team didn’t anticipate was that all four Fierce Beasts targeted Black Qilin.
It seemed they too knew to attack the weakest one, Black Qilin.
