Abyss Summoner

Chapter 770 - 755: The Supreme Secret

Flora also likes to collect spoils of war.

However, compared to the wealth in other devils’ eyes, what catches her attention more are the cold, departed lives.

To slaughter in a region ruled by devils is undoubtedly an insane act; every time she awaits her prey, her hair stands on end, and every successful hunt makes her blood boil.

Flames burn everywhere, providing Flora with the opportunity to obliterate corpses. Often, when she kills an enemy, she conveniently throws them into the fire.

The heavy scent of roasting meat wafts around, but whether dark creatures or devils, none are surprised by it. Too much life has perished in this fortress. Even though the devils pride themselves as wise beings, their ferocity mirrors that of demons.

In the face of war, even humans, who possess reason, can turn into merciless monsters in a short time, let alone a true devil?

Devils take pleasure in slaughter; they have occupied this fortress, and to vent their depression from war, they always find different ways to massacre demons.

Countless demons are thrown into the flames, with devils watching them scream and shriek agonizingly in the fire. For these devils, such tormented groans seem to bring about the most primal pleasure, devoid of any distracting thoughts.

As such, the air smelling of roasted meat is normal. No devils would idly uncover the appearance of those corpses. After all, the flames devour everything, including any trace of their existence in this world, such as their appearance.

Three devils approach from afar!

Desire demons!

In the devil army, they often assume the roles of harlots, yet there is no trace of reluctance or gloom on their faces. Instead, genuine joy glows from the corners of their lips. They stride like noblewomen on blood-soaked streets. Of course, if they wore a bit more clothing, the noblewoman’s air would be even more pronounced.

One is devouring a piece of flesh, one laughs loudly at the burning corpse in the flame, and another snickers in agreement beside them.

Devils are perverse!

Beasts aren’t terrible; what’s terrifying is when a beast one day possesses human wisdom.

To a devil, demons are a bunch of uncivilized beasts. They have strength but lack the brains to wield it, hence their repeated defeats. If it weren’t for their endless numbers, this place might long have been renamed Bator Hell!

In Flora’s eyes, devils are beasts with wisdom. They possess power, and they excel at thinking, understanding how to exploit their strength fully. Therefore, in terms of threat and destruction, they surpass demons by a tier.

"Swoosh!"

A pebble shoots towards the forehead of a desire demon at astounding speed.

The Master of Fist relies not only on close combat strength; during her training, Flora also mastered some throwing techniques. The desire demon didn’t even have a chance to defend before a small hole appeared on her forehead, and blood immediately spilled onto the ground.

Dead!

This alerted the surrounding desire demons. One hurriedly tossed away her food, while another stopped laughing and nervously scanned the surroundings.

After taking down one desire demon first, Flora immediately threw a second pebble, though this time it didn’t hit its target, instead accidentally falling onto a stone on the left.

The sound caught the desire demons’ attention, and they quickly turned back to glance but found nothing. Just as they refocused, one desire demon’s pupils suddenly contracted, as now in her view, there appeared a small fist.

"Bang!"

With a loud noise, the desire demon’s head shattered instantly, blood splattering onto her companion’s face.

The last desire demon’s mouth opened wide, forming an "O." Just when she was about to make a sound, a thick iron rod thrust straight into her mouth.

"Pch!"

The rusted iron rod pierced out from the back of her head. The desire demon’s eyes widened, yet only made some "kaka" sounds before collapsing to the ground.

Flora raised a sneer she didn’t even notice herself. At this moment, Flora seemed to have entered some sort of possessed state. Such cruel, lethal moves seemed to her to be akin to a seamless performance.

It wasn’t true possession, but rather a rare mental immersion.

Legend signifies transformation. It is a realm utterly different from the Golden Tier. Legend signals strength and superiority.

And at this moment, as Flora ended the lives of the desire demons effortlessly, she felt that sensation—a proud feeling as if her enemies were merely ants.

The so-called enemies, in her eyes, were merely insects to be dealt with. She didn’t need to worry about how to kill them but to decide in what manner to end their lives.

Like humans facing a group of ants, if they provoke you for some reason, maybe out of sheer whimsical delight, would you choose to stomp them with your foot or pour hot water over them?

Two more chain devils appear.

The cold chains bound their bodies, even stained with some dried blood, making it clear that in the earlier battle, many lives perished at their hands.

This time, Flora didn’t assume a stealthy posture. Instead, she raised her arm and swung the iron rod in her hand. Facing the ferocious chain devils, Flora showed no fear. The iron rod penetrated through one of their bodies, causing it to stumble backward several meters from inertia.

While the other one appeared smarter, it didn’t choose a hard defense in such a sudden event. Instead, it dashed madly in the opposite direction, issuing sharp cries from its mouth.

Alert!

The chain devil issued a call for reinforcements. Flora could have stopped all of this, but she allowed it to unfold because she found her final step towards the summit.

Flora nonchalantly kicked a pebble. A once ordinary stone now became a death charm, piercing through the chain devil’s chest, causing it to let out a horrific scream before collapsing to the ground.

Everything settled into dust.

Due to the previous alarm by the chain devil, a flurry of footsteps approached from not far away. Judging by the sound, at least a formation of over a hundred devils was heading this way.

Yet, knowing all this, Flora remained composed. Even in such a crisis, she closed her eyes, her previous ferocity and tension replaced by an ease.

A faint golden glow blossomed above Flora’s head. At this moment, she stepped into legend; at this moment, she finally grasped the supreme secrets of the Master of Fist!
