Lust Meter System: Conquering Beauties

Chapter 330: Late Night Race 3

Maya stepped out of the emerald sports car, the cool night air instantly catching her vibrant red hair and tossing soft waves across her shoulders.

She brushed a few stray strands back with one hand, revealing pale skin and sharp green eyes that fixed directly on Liam.

The smile that had graced her lips since Kelvin knocked on her window was still right there, effortless and lingering.

Liam looked at her, taking in her compact frame, the swell of her chest against her tight crop top, and the curves of her legs beneath the ridiculously short leather skirt.

Then his eyes drifted slightly upward, focusing on the dark air just above her head.

Floating in thin air was her lust meter.

[65/100]

Directly beneath the numerical counter, a detailed profile window materialized, glowing softly with digital clarity.

[NAME: Maya]

[AGE: 23]

[STATUS: SINGLE]

[FAVORITE POSITIONS: Doggy, Cowgirl, The Bicycle]

Liam looked at the breakdown.

Then he looked back down at Maya. Then his eyes flicked back up to the preferred positions line.

’Well then,’ Liam thought, a faint, dry hum amusement running through his mind. ’Good to know the system doesn’t believe in beating around the bush.’

Kelvin stepped slightly to the side, throwing his hands out with the theatrical flair of an executive host making a grand connection.

"Liam, meet Maya," Kelvin said, his voice brimming with satisfaction. "Maya, meet my boy Liam."

Liam reached out, extending his right hand toward her.

Maya took it without hesitation.

Her hand was small, warm, and soft against his palm, her grip surprisingly firm for her size. She gave it a gentle shake, her green eyes crinkling at the corners as her smile deepened, exposing a row of straight, white teeth.

"Nice to meet you, Liam," she said, her voice smooth and light.

The instant the last syllable left her mouth, the entire world slammed into a dead halt.

The surrounding noise of the crowded shipping yard froze instantly. A roaring engine forty feet away locked into a frozen, static hum. Smoke hanging off a drifting car stopped mid-curl in the air.

A guy nearby holding a plastic cup was frozen mid-laugh, and Kelvin was locked in place beside them with his mouth half-open in a wide grin.

Maya stood suspended mid-handshake, her chest held in place, every single strand of her red hair completely motionless in the ambient floodlight glare.

A bright, glowing system window expanded right across Liam’s field of view.

[SYSTEM NOTIFICATION]

[Option 1: "Nice meeting you too, gorgeous. Also, I don’t even know what’s sexier: you or your ride." | +10 Lust Points]

[Option 2: "Nice meeting you too." | +1 Lust Point]

Liam stared at the two choices floating in space. He didn’t waste a single second overthinking it. He reached out with his mind and locked onto Option 1.

The blue window shattered into bright pixels, and reality snapped right back into motion.

The roar of engines flooded his ears, the smoke continued its lazy rise into the night sky, and Maya’s warm hand moved naturally within his grip.

"Nice meeting you too, gorgeous," Liam said smoothly, his tone low and completely composed, carrying the easy confidence of a man who owned the floor. "Honestly, though, I don’t even know what’s sexier: you or your ride."

Beside them, Kelvin’s head whipped around toward Liam so fast his neck nearly popped. His eyes went wide as saucers, staring at Liam like his friend had just casually started speaking fluent Latin.

Maya blinked, a sudden, genuine surprise washing over her cute features.

A dark pink blush spread rapidly across her pale cheeks, sitting high beneath her green eyes.

She let out a short, airy laugh, her free hand coming up to cover her mouth for a fraction of a second before dropping back down to her side.

"Whoa... You didn’t tell me your friend was a big flirt, Kelvin," she said, her eyes cutting sideways to Kelvin while her smile remained fully operational.

Kelvin was still staring at Liam in absolute disbelief, his jaw practically hovering near the concrete.

It was the first time in all the years he had known Liam that he had ever heard him drop a smooth, heavy line like that without a single stutter.

"I’m just as surprised as you are," Kelvin blurted out, shaking his head slightly before a broad, proud grin spread across his face. He locked eyes with Liam and gave a subtle nod. "But if he’s throwing out lines like that, it definitely means he likes you. Trust me, that is not something he just does for anyone."

’My brother,’ Liam thought, catching Kelvin’s quick nod and feeling a wave of appreciation for his friend playing the ultimate wingman on the fly.

Maya looked back at Liam, her green eyes sweeping up and down his frame with a warm, appraising tilt to her head.

The blush on her cheeks softened, but the subtle sparkle in her gaze grew noticeably brighter.

"Well... he is definitely cute," Maya murmured, her tongue darting out briefly to wet her bottom lip. "But I just met him."

"Hey, totally fair," Kelvin interrupted instantly, already taking two deliberate steps backward into the crowd while waving his hand behind his shoulder. "Actually, you know what? I just remembered I need to go check out some guys setting up for a drag run on the far side. I’ll just... leave you two to get acquainted."

Without waiting for an answer, Kelvin turned around and vanished smoothly into the sea of spectators, leaving the two of them standing beside the emerald sports car under the floodlights.

Liam turned his full attention back to Maya. She shifted her weight, resting one hand on the curved rear fender of her car, her tiny leather skirt riding up just a fraction higher on her thigh.

"So," she said softly, looking up at him through her lashes. "What do we do now?"

The world froze again.

The floodlights locked into fixed beams, the distant crowd went dead silent, and a new digital menu materialized directly between them.

[SYSTEM NOTIFICATION]

[Option 1: "We can start by you telling me about your car." | +20 Lust Points]

[Option 2: "Show me around." | +5 Lust Points]

Liam looked at the options.

He recalled watching Elena at the art gallery days prior—the specific way her face lit up when someone took a genuine interest in her craft, the immediate breakdown of defensive walls when you focused on a person’s passion rather than putting pressure directly on them.

Time unfroze with a soft acoustic pop.

Liam turned his head, gesturing smoothly toward the sleek, custom vehicle sitting beside her. His expression carried a layer of genuine, focused interest.

"We can start," Liam said, his voice dropping an octave, "by you telling me about your car."

Maya’s head snapped toward the vehicle, her eyes lighting up instantly.

The posture she held shifted from a flirtatious pose into something far more grounded and passionate.

She turned back to him, her smile changing entirely—warmer now, radiant, the expression of someone who had just been asked the exact right question by the right person.

"Oh," she said softly, her chest rising as she took a deep breath. "You mean my baby?"

She walked around to the front of the vehicle, and Liam fell into step beside her, keeping a comfortable distance while letting his eyes sweep over the custom lines of the vehicle.

"She didn’t start out looking like this," Maya began, leaning her hip against the front bumper. "I bought the base chassis three years ago.

It was a complete disaster under the hood.

I spent the first six months replacing the entire intake manifold, swapping out the stock headers, and installing a custom Garrett twin-scroll turbocharger."

As she spoke, a brilliant blue pop-up window titled TRICKS materialized floating right over the open hood of the car.

[VEHICLE DATA: EMERALD SPEC]

- ENGINE: 3.0L Inline-6 Twin-Turbo (Custom ECU Remap - 580 WHP)

- EXHAUST: 3.5-inch Straight-Pipe Titanium Setup with Dual Heat-Wrapped Downpipes

- SUSPENSION: Fully Adjustable Coilovers with Stiffened Anti-Roll Bars

- BRAKES: 6-Piston Carbon-Ceramic Front Calipers

- AERO: Hand-Molded Carbon Fiber Rear Diffuser & Front Splitter

Liam stared at the floating technical breakdown, his eyebrows raising slightly.

At first, he wondered why the system was dropping an engineering manual in his face, but it didn’t take him long to realize what the interface was setting up. It was handing him the answers to the exam.

Liam stepped closer to the car, adopting the posture of an expert inspector. He walked around the driver’s side, his movements deliberate and focused.

He crouched low near the rear wheels, examining the fitment of the wide tires inside the custom arches.

"You dropped the suspension by at least two inches, didn’t you?" Liam asked, pointing toward the tight gap between the tire and the fender. "With coilovers that stiff, you must have swapped the anti-roll bars too, or you’d be scrubbing the rubber every time you throw it sideways in a drift."

Maya gasped softly, her mouth opening slightly as she followed him around to the rear. "Yes! Exactly! Everyone told me to leave the stock bars, but the body roll was killing my entry speeds."

Liam stood up, touching the tip of his finger near the edge of the titanium exhaust tips extending from the rear diffuser. "And a three-and-a-half inch straight pipe setup? Dual downpipes?" He raised his eyes to meet hers. "That twin-scroll turbo must be pushing close to six hundred wheel horsepower with an ECU remap."

Maya stood frozen beside the rear wing, her green eyes wide with utter shock. She stared at him as if he had just pulled a rabbit out of his hat, her hands coming up to clutch her crop top.

"How... how do you even know all that?" she stammered out, her voice filled with genuine amazement. "Most guys who come up to me just comment on the green paint and ask if I know how to use the gearstick!"

The world locked up for the third time.

[SYSTEM NOTIFICATION: DIALOGUE CHOICE]

[Option 1: "I just know, I guess." | +0 Lust Points]

[Option 2: "I was a big fan of Mr. Crane, the car specialist, when I was young." | +5Lust Points]

Liam looked at Option 2 and internally scratched his head.

’Who the hell is Mr. Crane?’ Liam thought, a surge of amusement running through his mind. ’The system is literally just pulling random names out of thin air now and telling me to claim a childhood mentorship with them. This thing is such a total cheat.’

He selected Option 2 without hesitation.

Time resumed its flow.

Liam rubbed the back of his neck casually, letting out a small, humble laugh. "Well, I was a huge fan of Mr. Crane when I was younger.

The car specialist.

I spent an unhealthy amount of time studying his custom engine builds and chassis tuning guides back in the day."

Maya’s jaw dropped completely open.

She took two fast steps toward him, her hands flying to her head as if her brain had just short-circuited.

"No way!" she gasped, her voice reaching a high, excited pitch. "No freaking way! You know about Mr. Crane?!"

Liam kept his cool, nodding smoothly. "Yeah, I followed his work pretty closely."

"I grew up reading his technical blogs and watching his garage breakdowns!" Maya shouted, her excitement completely taking over as she stepped right into his personal space. "I have been coming to these street meets for two years, Liam, and I have never met a single person here who even knows his name! I bring him up to the guys in the staging lanes, and they literally look at me like I’m speaking ancient Greek!"

Liam raised an eyebrow, looking around the massive lot filled with high-end sports cars. "Really? With all these car enthusiasts running around here, nobody knows him?"

"Nobody!" she insisted, her green eyes locked onto his with an intense, burning interest. "It is actually hilarious how completely oblivious everyone here is to real engine architecture. And yet... you just walk up and break down my entire build in thirty seconds."

She stepped even closer, the distance between their bodies shrinking down to just a few inches.

The sweet, warm scent of vanilla perfume mixed with the faint metallic tang of race fuel radiated off her skin.

She lifted her right hand, her long, manicured nails coming to rest against the center of his chest, right over his collarbone.

Slowly, deliberately, she dragged her index finger straight down the middle of his jacket, pressing gently against his sternum as her eyes held his.

"You know..." she purred, her voice dropping into a low, sultry register that sent a ripple of heat straight down his spine. "It’s getting really loud out here with all these engines. We should go somewhere quiet... just the two of us."

Liam looked down at her small hand resting against his chest, then looked back up into her flushed, eager face.

"Alright," Liam said softly, a dark smile touching his lips. "Let’s go."

Maya pulled her hand back slowly, her fingers tracing a tiny circle over his chest before releasing him. "Which car is yours?" she asked, turning her head to scan the nearby parked vehicles.

Liam extended his hand, pointing toward his dark navy BMW M4 parked thirty yards away under the edge of the shadows.

The wide rear shoulders, carbon-fiber roof, and aggressive stance of the German coupe looked downright menacing under the dim lights.

Maya’s eyes ran along the smooth, aggressive lines of the BMW, a low, appreciative hum leaving her throat.

"Nice," she whispered, turning back to look at him with a look that left absolutely no room for misinterpretation. "Very nice. Lead the way."

Liam smiled, turning to walk beside her toward the M4, feeling the weight of the system interface fading back into the background of his vision.

’This system,’ Liam thought, taking out his key fob and clicking the door locks open with a sharp double-beep, ’is completely, ridiculously broken. And I don’t have a single complaint about it.’
